I have two, one in the form of an electronic plug from paris for meat and one remote for the oven, very good, if I need a photo I will take tomorrow :-)
Jenealis
Hello, please advise the temperature probe for meat. There was an electronic one with Ali, after two uses it stopped working altogether. And the problem of overdrying meat in the grill is on the face ...
Elena Bo
I have a mechanical temperature probe. There is nothing to break there.
You can see here

Pay attention to the temperature limit. Well, the probe itself should not be short.

And with such a thermometer, the temperature is maximum 90 degrees. This is probably not suitable for bread. This is all the same for meat.

Irina, the temperature of the finished bread should be at the level of 96-98 * C - there should be such a run on the scale.

I looked after myself ELECTROLUX E4TAM01 meat thermometer. How is he, good? In general, can they not only check meat, but also baked goods and bread? There is a range of 40-110.

with such a range it is quite possible to measure the temperature inside any product, but nothing more ... or observe a small temperature value, for example, in an ordinary oven, "catch" 70/80/84 degrees - well, any specific value ...

Thanks for the answer, but I didn't quite understand from here (forgive me, I don't understand much about this) "but nothing more"

"... or observe a small temperature value, for example, in an ordinary oven, "catch" 70/80/84 degrees - well, any specific value ..."- that is, put it in the oven and watch-catch this range?

Basically, I don't even need him to be in the product all the time, just to know what is ready. In particular, I make ham in a ham maker, I would stick a thermometer in there (taking out a ham maker temporarily) and check the temperature, so can they?

But, you can't get bread out of the oven along the way
It is necessary to divide thermometers into those that can be left in a hot oven and those that are suitable only for external use, in the public domain, in a frying pan.
Pity
I bought a temperature probe for Ali. And he turned out to be with a plastic "glass".
Out of harm, I inserted it into the chicken and into the oven

Well essssssta he melted

It seems that the money is returned.

Deushki, advise checked, so that you can cool in the oven unattended

Meat thermometer ELECTROLUX E4TAM01

Well, I’m a kettle, I don’t understand a lot of things (I can write a scientific article like 2 fingers on the asphalt, but we’re very learned to handle kitchen gadgets)
There it says about this thermometer "Measurement range from 40 ˚C to 110 ˚C, suitable for both gas and electric ovens. Appointment Oven. Width 5 cm
The depth is 5 cm. "That is, I boldly put it in bread there or meat and put it in the oven and let it show degrees there? And in a ham maker: take out, insert-check and back, if anything is possible? It is written in the instructions, that the water is impossible.

The paint with which the numbers and divisions are applied began to deform, apparently, it is not intended for high temperatures.

I saw a similar one in a store like that. But definitely not this manufacturer. I'll have to take a closer look. Can be hung on the wire rack. As a rule, I put any (non-native) baking sheet on the wire rack, including a smaller one, but high.

The sensor housing is made of durable plastic.
And not a word about heat resistance.

Answer
The temperature probe is designed to measure T * in food, inside. For the oven - buy a special thermometer, round, hanging.
As correctly noted Tatyana

For the oven, use a specialized appliance similar in style:

Girls, I have a temperature probe with a wire that is pulled out of the oven. It is both a timer and a thermometer. And there is no shutdown button. I take out the battery every time. Maybe some trick is to set him up so that he himself is cut down. Firm cnd on ebay bought in the shutdown instructions not a word
Mirabel
Girls! Why are you buying separate oven thermometers? In my opinion, all electric ovens, even the most primitive ones, have the ability to regulate the pace.
Alycha
Mine is for measuring inside the product and not in the oven itself, it is convenient for me for bread
Mirabel
EllaWell I understand that, I also have a temperature probe (though not very convenient, but not the point)
But for some reason, we also need thermometers for the oven.

But for some reason, we also need thermometers for the oven.

Unfortunately, not all ovens correctly and accurately reflect the temperature in the oven. And not all ovens have indicators of the current actual temperature on the oven display. I have such a scoreboard, I see. But, nevertheless, you should occasionally check compliance, secondary control.

It's the oven inside!

And for baking bread, you need a temperature probe that shows the temperature inside the dough being baked.
Iskatel-X
But why do you need more oven thermometers?
The oven temperature regulator is needed so that you tell the oven: “I want to set this temperature,” and the thermometer is a control. With it you will find out if your wishes have been achieved.

The oven temperature regulator is needed so that you tell the oven: “I want to set this temperature,” and the thermometer is a control. With it you will find out if your wishes have been achieved.

This is in cases where there is no built-in control system that displays these indicators on the display of the oven control panel: there you can see both the set T * and the temperature set during the heating process, and the actually set one.

But, sometimes these indicators do not want to cope with their duties, and then you can install a hanging thermometer inside the oven and control it.

Anna
electronic thermometer for cooking meat. Which company to choose?
Available in your area.

Anechka, I have Teskomovsky, I have been using it for five years now, it is universal for both meat and bread.
Like this:
Thermometers, oven temperature probes
Range - up to 120 degrees. Marking - for each type of meat, there is an icon, no need to steam with memorization. Leg length 11 cm.
At first I wanted electronic, and then mechanical convinced me more (somehow I trust mechanics more. IMHO).

anhenwald
Mechanical yes, good, accurate. And I want electronic. I ordered a gefu BBQ for 1500. There is also a rock in gefu stores for 1800. I don’t know which one is better. I liked the design of the first one. I read a review about the rock, like lying + -2 degrees. Can anyone have a gefu? What can you say?

Does anyone use a similar thermometer for milk / liquids?

Upset, damn it ...
Received a thermometer today.
I ordered it specifically to control the pace. inside the oven.
Here sausages are being fried, by email. I have a scoreboard 225 *, but on this thermometer (it has been hanging for 15 minutes), - and only 140 * ... It's a pity for money (((. And here's how to check them?
The experiment is over.
... In short, I bent for the sake of interest (easily) with two fingers and the hook and the peg (all one thing - throw it away) are obviously riveted from "foil". Apparently, production is somewhere in the gateway)))

Inna, and I just do ... use a metal temperature probe for milk

Tanechka, and which company produces such temperature probes?
Admin

Inna, mine is already "a hundred years old for lunch", 15 years for sure! I brought them from a trip to Holland, and bought them there in a small town. Then one could only guess about them and read their purpose on the label. So, I bought "let me have it too" - it turned out I did the right thing

Choose a temperature probe with a needle, with a clothespin (if possible), and a temperature range of up to 150 * C for bread, or up to 200-250 * for everything else, will also come in handy.
In principle, you can now buy them both in stores and on the internet.

It seems to me that the first one will be difficult to stick into the meat, in the same place the needle is blunt. You will need to first make a hole with something in order to insert the probe. Although the second is the same.

Got my gefu bbq. Good. Nice steel design. The error is not big. Body temperature showed 36.2. That is, - + 0.3 deg. The temperature shows quickly about 5 seconds to 80 degrees. The range of temperatures is -40 +200 degrees. I will try to insert a photo.
Was taken for steaks and meat. I coped with the task. Soon it will be tested in the conditions of May Day barbecue. A big plus is the backlight. On the street at dusk it’s itself (y).
