Ingredients

young small potatoes 150 gr.
salt 1/3 tsp
cumin seeds 0.5 tsp
vegetable oil for deep fat 200 ml.

Cooking method

  • This is more likely not a recipe, but a reminder that a very simple, at first glance, dish can be delicious.
  • I choose small potatoes, about the size of a quail's egg, wash them well (do not peel them) and dry them on a napkin. I heat the oil to a boil, add salt and cumin, then potatoes and fry until golden brown. I take out the finished potatoes with a slotted spoon, sprinkle them with caraway seeds and salt on top (if necessary, depending on the eaters). Serve the child just with sour cream. Bon Appetit!
