Uuuu. Duc rocked .. long ... La I'll try the bottom on the hi .. maybe what happens.
LudMila
Probably, it is necessary to estimate the volume of products! This time was enough for me, but I boiled only 150 ml of cereal in a liter of liquid (more precisely, in 1 liter of 50 ml))).
If the volumes are larger, it may take more time too.

hesitated .. long ...
Galina, by definition, a slow cooker is not fast.))

Porridge on the water is not porridge but a side dish.
I remember very well that there were some disputes about porridge. Some boil ONLY in water, and then add oil and they like it.
I cook in about half milk, and of course the finished butter.
Galina, Gal, I cook milk porridge - 1 to 5. This is what we need, for our taste and 2 hours for a high in a baby.

I cooked this way before, almost until cooked, then + milk and butter. Just on the water I suddenly liked hercules.

No, well, I know that. But millet 2 hours .. Well, okay, nowhere to go, tomorrow I will do it.

Vic, thanks. I understood everything, boom to train.

Porridge on water with butter is about me. Remind, please, oatmeal, not flakes, how much to cook in Kitusha, and what proportions?
Mirabel
Galina, Gal, made potatoes according to your recipe as a baby. Sooo delicious, just ooche! the potatoes are very good, they bought from the farmer, the recipe is excellent, well, the slow fellow!
Thank you very much again!

Now it will get a little colder and we will continue "our games" ..
And today I made a chicken breast. 4.5 at a low. well, such deliciousness. I added a little water, in general, the broth turned out to be transparent and transparent. and threw the dreadful thing ..
Very soft and delicious.
brendabaker
Mirabel,
Vika, and I Galina potatoes and the next day, cold, just love. It is much more fragrant and richer in taste than boiled in a saucepan or steamed
With a salad, or just with herbs for a snack

I am now boiling buckwheat for myself in milk and water, in a water bath, in Kitfort, 4 hours have already passed, buckwheat has acquired such a pleasant color
LudMila
Another test of the small slow cooker.
I cooked corn porridge, 150 ml of cereal and 900 ml of milk. I decided that 1: 7 is too much for small grains, I took 1: 6. And in vain, the slow cooked VERY well, for me the porridge turned out to be thick ... I can't even imagine what would have happened with an even smaller ratio, a spoon in porridge would have stood like a soldier.
Now on the regime. I started again with the car (I want to make sure that you can put it on at night so that she does everything herself and turns off using a timer outlet). But since this time there were fewer products and the mass was thicker - after 1 hour and 45 minutes it was about to boil strongly, the lid was in traces of milk. She turned it off, turned on the low for only half an hour, because it was completely thickened. Moreover, much more has burnt at the bottom along the edge today, to a brown crust.
Conclusion: I didn’t like the automatic program for milk porridge, I don’t know how long it was set to work at high heat, but obviously more than I want. We'll have to follow, first turn on high for an hour, then translate to low. Or straight to low. Need to try.

Another test of the small slow cooker
I also tested it today - I cooked muesli porridge at night according to the recipe of Gali gawala.Set on a timer from 1 to 6 in the morning at low. Very tasty (packed for this case with muesli on ozone). Only milk with a brown crust on top. You need to put on a shorter time and, for my taste, try not 1: 3 milk, but 1: 4 milk. That is, on low, too, spit. Yes, who will order on Ali, pay attention to the external pan upon delivery. To celebrate, I instructed the pluses in the reviews, and yesterday I looked - the pan has dents on both sides. The packaging is good, the seller sends out defective goods, but I can no longer open a dispute. M. b. useful to someone.
LudMila
helenanik, yeah, it's a shame ... It was packed really well.
Mine has no dents, and the seller put the adapter.

Lyudmila, I also put the adapter in, although it didn't let me down. Well, nothing, dents do not affect working conditions, and Gzhel camouflages well (which is why I didn't see it right away).

Here, I just did ..
Yes .... Today I just made fruit, and tomorrow I'll try it with chocolate, I hope it will also be delicious!
Mirabel
Ludmila, do you have a liter? how did so much come in?
LudMila
Mirabel, Vika, I have a 1.5 liter slow, but it's flush with the edges. And so 1 liter is just the working volume (1.2 liters is already a bit too much).
Mirabel
Quote: LudMila
slow lid for 1.5 l
ahhh! but I have 1 liter liter and still get a good volume for 2 people or for 1 glutton.
brendabaker
Kitfort somehow ended up on sale very quickly, apparently tasted and sold out
Deana
brendabaker, for such and such a price it was a sin not to buy.
gawala
I cooked millet porridge today. only that I had some kind in bags, cook for 20 minutes in water. Can be cooked quickly. Well, in general, small-small. Usnas here she is generally very small, but so yellow ..
In general, 1.5 hours per high. And 2.5 tbsp. milk for half a glass of millet. I did a lot of it. I will decrease it another time. But I liked everything. Thanks for the advice !.
brendabaker
And now I put rice in milk
160 ml of white round grain rice and 1 liter of milk. At MAX.
In 3 hours I'll see what will come out

Interestingly, I'll wait for the result. Is 160 ml a multi-glass?

And I have chicken navels with vegetables in Kita today. I wanted to put it on for the night, and suddenly fell asleep ... I put it in the morning. I haven’t tried it yet, I’m sitting at work, but my husband said that I would have to sniff :)
brendabaker
L_e_a,
Ekaterina, it was necessary, like Ritusli and I, to grab two Kitas at once and load both of them.

Deana,
160 ml is just a glass from Redmond 01 and 02,
Glasses are of different sizes, from 160 ml to 200 ml.
In short, the proportions of the porridge are 1: 6, it turned out to be delicious
L_e_a
brendabaker, Oksana, I'm waiting now, suddenly a big whale will appear) then I'll grab and load both)))
Anna67
She took the whale, it turned out to be the last one from the showcase and without the box. Well, it's good - it's easier to carry. It's a pity the handle on the lid is hardly heat-resistant. And in general, it is not clear whether the pan will withstand the oven?
A chilled chicken (soup is not a fact) with paws folded in a cross cut into it exactly fit into it. I sit thinking what to do out of it, whether to pour water and what mode to turn on ...
Anna67
I advised someone to have a layer of temperature, and she put it on a plastic window sill where the multicooker had stood before that year - it was imprinted with its legs. Well, the window sill is already so-so, and in the bedroom, for some reason, it also cracked, although there was definitely nothing heavy and hot too.

Slow cookers: model selection, features, reviews
And Kitfort pleased me again, HERCULES MONASTYRSKY oatmeal cooked so beautifully for me that one might think that it is porridge made from whole oats, the flakes became round and tasty.
I cooked in a ratio of 1: 5, milk 3.2%, time 3 hours at MAX. Once, stir well after 2.5 hours
Fotina
Broke the lid from the Chinese baby. In principle, mine came up by 16 cm, but it has a sharp metal rim. Need to search.
In general, I am very pleased with them. True, they spar even more energetically than kitfort, but for porridge it suits me. Only a socket with a timer is needed. Because by the morning everything is boiled down into jelly. You have to cook the porridge the day before, and reheat it.
Anna67

I have a long time. Such a complex aggregate turned out to be until now eyes have not reached to read and understand how it works and how to set it up. Maybe now there will be an incentive?
LudMila
Fotina, in November I will be ordering a ceramic lid in the joint venture at Tao, it has a diameter of 15-16 cm (as shown in the picture, which Lena found).
Anna67
Okay, the lid is round, there are a lot of them on the farm and it's not so difficult to buy, but for a whale if that ...
brendabaker
Anna67,
For such a case, I immediately bought a second Kit, all of a sudden that with a bowl, or with a lid, or with a base. While the price is low

I bought a Russell Hobbs slow motion on Amazon at a discount precisely because of the dent in the outer pan. I thought that this would not affect the functioning in any way, but I was mistaken. During cooling, condensation formed on the inside of the outer pan in the dent area and drops flowed down to the bolts in the bottom - rust appeared on them. I returned it, Amazon accepted and refunded the money. I was lucky.

Well, this is rather a minus than a plus for a brand without a story, and the device is not technically complicated, I suppose half of the cost price fell on a ceramic pan with a lid.
Deana
Quote: Anna67
it is rather a minus than a plus for a brand without history,
Well, why, if a brand works on kitchen appliances, the release of various units is logical, they cannot produce a couple of pots and that's all, then they will go bust.
Svetlenki
Why do you even think that Kitforth produces his entire range himself? They can, under their own brand, offer products of manufacturers whose quality they consider good / profitable for sale ... And, judging by the reviews, they are doing well.

Anna67
Quote: Svetlenki

Well, it is generally produced by China, and they rather, like many others, use ready-made patents. But their prices are good, the design is not scary, the logo is funny so they have them and that's good.

No, well, I mean that this is one company that makes the entire range. Most probably not. It's just that Kitfort buyers are looking for positions for the brand ...
brendabaker
Yes, let them find good oval slows with three modes, Low, High and Auto with a design like Crocpot, large, medium and small (porridge) volume.

And for them a temperature probe and a timer socket, like Galina, but up to 12 hours of cooking

In principle, what's the difference? Now everything is done in China. The main thing is that if they put their own brand, they are responsible for the quality and there is no need to think about where to shove the broken, there is a guarantee.
brendabaker
Deana,
And there is also a support service, where my temperature was measured in all three modes already twice.
And when I called the electrolux, they turned me off both times, the first time they said at all that they did not produce or sell their slow cookers, and the second time they said that the model had long been discontinued and was not on sale.Understand as you want, these electric suites are still sold and cost like a multicooker
Deana
brendabaker, the support service is a special conversation, while I have very good impressions of the Whale Company. I should knock on wood so as not to jinx it.

Kitfort made pizza sauce for me from store-bought perespels. This is something with something, I have already eaten up everything unnecessary, without waiting for pizza.
