Cauliflower baked with Morne sauce

Ingredients

cauliflower 1 head of cabbage
fine dry white crumbs 2 tbsp. l
cheese 2 tbsp. l
melted butter 2 tbsp. l
Bechamel sauce / velute:
butter 2 tbsp. l
flour 3 tbsp. l
milk / broth 2 cups
salt taste
white pepper taste
Morne sauce:
bechamel / velute 2 cups
cheese 1/2 - 1/4 cup
salt taste
nutmeg taste
Cayenne pepper optional

Cooking method

  • Cauliflower baked with Morne sauceDisassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and pour into boiling water with the addition of 1 1/2 tsp. salt per liter of water. Bring to a boil and cook for 9-12 minutes. Drain the water, and pour over the cabbage with a hungry Veda.

I made it as an independent dish, without any additions to anything - it went great. The crust is crispy, the cabbage is tender, the sauce - everything is right on the topic and, in my opinion, does not require additions.
The next day there was no crunch, of course, but it ate great, and so, while I was pondering whether I should warm it up in a micr, I picked it up with a fork, picked it ... and finished it ...
