Bean and mint pate

Bean and mint pate

Ingredients

dry beans 150 grams
curd cheese 100g
olive oil 1 tablespoon
lemon zest to taste
mint leaves 60 leaves

Cooking method

  • Beans help reduce sweating in hot weather. Beans should be consumed at least twice a week.
  • Bean and mint pateSoak the beans in water overnight. The next day, wash the beans and peel them. The peel slips off easily. Put the peeled beans in water and cook until soft.
Bean and mint pateWe select 60 mint leaves. I took only 30, because when I compared it in volume with beans, I was afraid that such an amount of mint would overwhelm the taste of the rest.
Bean and mint pateGrind the beans with mint and cheese with a blender. Season with olive oil, salt, pepper and remove to cool.
  • Bean and mint pate When I tasted the pate in a warm state, I heard nothing but mint. There was only one mint in taste and smell. But after the pate cooled very well from the mint, only freshness remained. We ate it with pleasure.
  • Bon Appetit everyone.

The prescription must be removed. It seems to me that the pate will be more homogeneous. As I understand it, you just need to take the beans as large as possible.

Thanks for the recipe! I cooked beans with lemon balm (I didn't find mint), instead of cheese I added a little zucchini (stewed with beans), I didn't remove the skin, but we liked it, thanks again. I'll also try to put sage instead of mint.
