They brought me the scales POLARIS PKS 0512DG on the appointed day as ordered.
Pros: small, neat
Cons: there is no hanging up, manually they are turned off, but either manually or automatically - I have everything for all 90 seconds (as a beginner, it's not enough for me)
Shows true, the color is pleasant - pearl. One year warranty. They work on the crown (how long it is not yet known ..
Hanging up for me is still far away) I'm just starting, and the price is small - 930 re. My husband and I will try, and then, as we perk up, we may think about a more serious model. I do not succeed with the prescription - only by eye, this husband is a lover of the exact recipe. I think they are not suitable for serious cooks at all.

After rereading the whole topic yesterday, I went to buy scales. Before that, I weighed a bunch of keys from a friend on a laboratory scale and put a couple of metal hryvnias in my wallet. ABC technology - there is no crown for checking Klatronic. Okay - check Tefal - instead of 85 grams a bunch shows - 91. It so happened that before going to the next shops I was at home, pulled out of the floor scales and threw a crown into my bag. El Dorado - Tefal, but a different model, and another unknown company. I did not remember the name. The question of whether these scales have an additional weighing function put the young saleswoman in a dead end. She rushed through the hall, muttering to herself, something like - and where to find someone who knows. After 10 minutes of running around, the answer was no, Tefal did not torture her poor with a check. Megamax - Tefal 2 models, Vitek 2 models. I'm already looking askance at Tefal. Please check one of the Vitek models. Despite the fact that it cost more, I was offered a different model. Having substantiated that there is glass, you never know what ... Okay - we check Vitek is not glass. On the hryvnia, the weight according to the NBU data is -7.1gr - the reaction is 0. That is, absolutely no reaction. There is a reaction to a bunch of keys, but the weight is not correct. At my request to check the first model of Vitek and grab also Tefal (and suddenly it was just those scales that were defective), they patiently bring both models and turn them on. Tefal was included first. Keys - again 91 grams, coin - 6 grams, instead of 7. I load with my hand to the maximum, after that the coin began to weigh 9 grams. At this time, the girls turn on Vitek - he, still without weight, begins to show something there, known only to him. And at this time, the coin forgotten in Tefala begins to lose weight and loses weight up to 3 grams. I always respect the sellers who are not trying to sell anyhow. The girl honestly says that the most accurate scales they had was Winzer. A man came to them with a set of coins and checked them, so they showed everything for sure. I still thought, but not bakers from this forum. :) He took them. I'm interested in the price. Lying Tefal - in the region of 470 hryvnia, and the exact Winzer - about 250 hryvnia. I go down a block below I go to Foxtrot... Directly to the department where the scales and I see Winzer. It costs UAH 279. ($ 36 at the NBU rate). Please check. This is where the Krona in the bag came in handy. As they say - and we had it with us. The scales passed all the tests and now live with me. Here's an epic. Now I will wait for my daughter to pass the session and bring Panasonic. Then I'll start to master the basics of baking. Thanks everyone for the advice on how to choose a scale. Maybe someone and my "report" is useful.

I chose TEFAL BC 4002 for a long time, but I read it here, and a doubt crept in, changed my mind. I chose for a very long time, after reading this Temka, I got completely confused. First I wanted Soehnle, but I couldn't find it, then BEURER KS 65, but they are not ours either. As a result, I ordered Bosch MKW 0120. They were checked with coins - they showed exactly. I never regretted the choice. The bowl is plastic, removable.I keep them separately: the platform is on a micro-vane, and a bowl with bowls. I chose online, ordered in the online store.

I have a second copy. If you do not mind that the device will "think" a little while in operation, then you can purchase it. But if you are choleric, it can be quite annoying. Accuracy - high, there is a function of zeroing the weight (very convenient for multiple weighing of different ingredients in the same container). Compactness - in my opinion, is also important.

The first model is not familiar to me.
Iriska
I have Tefal scales, as in the photo, only with a bowl.
I like in all respects - both the design and the fact that they are with a bowl. You can even do something else in it, for example, whip.

Thank you girls, I will buy

By the way, for Europeans.

here they write about testing the scales with a 5-ruble coin.

here is the weight of the eurek:

2 euros = 8.50 g
1 euro = 7.50 g
0.50 cents = 7.80 g
0.20 cents = 5.74 g
0.10 cents = 4.10 g
0.05 cents = 3.92 g
0.02 cents = 3.06 g
0.01 cent = 2.30 g

Additional tests

2 coins 0.20 euro = 11.48g
6 coins 0.10 euro = 24.60g
1 coin 0.05 euro = 3.92g
5 coins 0.01 euro = 11.50g

And this Tefal did not pass the tests for me. Perhaps this is such a batch, so check when buying.

I saw them today in the Mediamarket, by the way there is a large selection, and the brands are different and the scales - both with a bowl and without, see by March 8))
If I had time to return, I would have purchased a POLARIS PKS 0512DG - a notebook and even then, much more compact than my POLARIS PKS 0512DG. With the purchase of a bread machine, the scales acquired great value in the house. In fact, with the introduction of this particular topic, everything started: a combine, a bread machine, a multicooker. I want to thank everyone

Hello. After reading post 198, I was so inspired by the scale number 2. POLARIS PKS 0512DG (USA) that rushed to order. Still, in order to calm my conscience, I decided to find more information about them and also found that they did not have a container dump or a hanging function.
There is a container discharge.
The hanging functions are as follows: (do I understand correctly, if anything - correct)
I turn on the scales, zero appears.
I put the bowl on the scales, press On and the tare becomes zero
then I put one ingredient in, weigh it, get the right weight, press zero, and the ingredients in the bowl become zero.
Then I weigh the second ingredient, get the desired weight, press zero, and the ingredients in the bowl become zero.
THIS is the hanging function ?? then she is, she just unknowingly wrote that she is not.
Did I taste the hanging function correctly?

Quote: GAlexV

I made a rule for myself: before cooking (weighing the ingredients), I set the timer for 90 minutes.
Then, during breaks in weighing (and these often happen: the flour is over, you need to get a new bag, etc.) the scales will not turn off on their own until the timer ends.
Very comfortably. And I recommend it to you. And you can turn off the scales yourself at any time.
and what scales can be with such a function - a timer. And I also want them to be thin, without a bowl, with a clock and hung on the wall.
Please, who has such scales - write a model and a review pliz.

I'll say about my scales: a bucket of honey (I'm very happy with them) and a teaspoon of tar (their desire to leave the weighing mode after 30 seconds of inactivity requires getting used to).

And also # 191. Just hanging on my wall. Once every two days I take off to weigh the flour for baking, the rest of the time I use it as a timer - usually so as not to forget that I have set tea / coffee to brew

Likewise, unfortunately.

ADDED: Regarding answers # 8 and 22 - think about whether it will be convenient for you to use such models - because they can only be used in the place where they hang, you cannot put them on the table. I saw similar ones, sprinkled them with my brains and did not take them.

And I found what it is if the scales have a weighing function, then this allows you to determine the weight of the product without taking into account the weight of the container; determine the weight of each ingredient separately.

sazalexter strange links - the first advertisement, the second one does not even search ...
Hmm, well, the price ... There is also a minus in mains power: less mobile. if you suddenly need somewhere to drag with six R20 batteries, then they are heavy.
Of all the above, Soehnle 67056 Bernina turned out to be more to my liking. Can be hung on the wall, can not be hung, clock, timer (no power supply). The platform will not allow ingredients to enter the scoreboard. The price as I looked from 2500 re. If you do the trick described function in post 100 of this topic, then they are very good. Interestingly, such a trick with all the scales with a timer can be done?

Hello. After reading post 198, I was so inspired by the scale number 2. POLARIS PKS 0512DG (USA), which rushed to order.
Yes, at one time I also almost fell for this "American" Polaris. I was on a business trip in Moscow, went to some wholesale warehouse on Pervomayskaya, where these Polarises stood, in company with the Saturns, Elenbergs, and other cheap Chinese handicrafts. Then it confused me a little, such a neighborhood, - I did not buy. Upon arrival home I climbed on the site of this, as they call themselves, "international holding". A thorough study of this site immediately suggested the crystal clear divorce of Russians (in Ukraine, this "American Brand" is still in short supply, thank God). Neither do you need a link to any head office of the holding, nor any other external signs of the "Americanness" of this brand. "Patented Technologies" includes 8 patents in Russia and the same 8 in Ukraine. True, I found Polaris International Holdings, Inc., but that's bad luck, he deals only with IT technologies and has nothing to do with the production of household appliances. And the other Polaris found by Google were in no way suitable for our relatives. In general, it looks like this Polaris has the same relationship to the United States as my boiler is to Trinidad and Tobago.

No, God forbid that your Polaris would work for a long time and regularly. I am not against this Brand, I am only against the divorce of the Slavs with a short prefix (USA), which people buy in the hope of getting a quality product of non-Chinese production.

I do not know how in larger cities, but for a long time we have been writing on the price tags - China, Poland or China, USA. Recently I bought all the same Polaris (I decided that the price-quality ratio would suit me), so the PRC is written on the box without any embarrassment. Although later I saw the scales of the Tescoma trademark - the difference in price between them and Polaris is generally a penny

I bought scales BergHOFF Art nr. 2002827

  • Maximum weight 5kg, accuracy 1g
  • Sequential weighing / taring function
  • Auto power off after 2 min (timer trick does not work)
  • Measuring the volume of liquid (water, milk)
  • Automatic reset of tare weight
  • Selecting units of measure
  • Overload / battery indication (2xCR 2032)
  • Temperature sensor
  • Clock
  • Touch buttons
  • Wall hanging for storage

Flat design, no bowl.
I checked it with laboratory weights 2g, 5g, 10g, 25g, 50g and 100g, the measured values completely coincide with the weight of the weights.
They are transferred to the measurement mode in about 2 seconds, while measuring almost instantly, the values do not jump.

Of the minuses.
If the measured value remains unchanged for 2 minutes, then the scales are turned off (the timer could not be overcome).
The metal surface seemed to be quite a brand.

and I took the advice of some members of the forum and bought the scales Aurora, the price more than satisfied me - the tefal cost 400 grams, and these are only 136, I checked the weight with yeast bags, chocolate and other trifles. turned out to be pretty accurate. no, well, maybe they lie for a couple of grams, but I think it's trifles. now when I bake bread only with them and use them - I like it)) and pretty pretty, in general, even if they break, it won't be a problem to buy new ones.

Good day!
Became the proud owner of the TRONY T-KS 1000EP scales (thanks to Max Panason). I bought it in MIR for 390 rubles. Thanks to the test with coins, I chose the most accurate ones. Subjective: scales show weight with enviable accuracy. Although in the store they gave me a sample, which at 15 grams "lied" by plus 7 grams !!!.
In the photo on the box, the scale looks much richer. In fact, everything is made of very cheap plastic. The scales themselves have a glossy silver color and a bowl made of a material somewhat similar to plexiglass, only of a much lighter weight. Powered by a lithium (round bun) battery. There is a tare deduction and the ability to switch measurements between gr and oz. The maximum weighing limit is 3 kg.
The scales justify their cost, in my opinion, completely. If you put up with the aesthetic look, then this is a very "fighting" option in the kitchen.
Sincerely, Alexander.

Kitchen scales (reviews and discussion) Kenwood DS600, bought them. Very accurate! Power supply 4 AAA batteries, auto-shutdown 3 minutes. The liquid is not weighed. They are notable for a kind of "stabilization system", when the weighing plate stops oscillating, the letter H lights up on the display, meaning that these readings need to be taken, they are correct. (I don’t know, I didn’t pay attention, maybe all scales have it, but in my opinion tefali doesn’t)))) Very much in my opinion the necessary option (It’s not visible with the eye when the platform stopped oscillating, but if you weigh it quickly, it will be messy. Yes and the table is not difficult to swing.)! Sensitive, they react even to a slight blow on the platform.
We wanted Tefal, as they are very practical in our opinion
1. Flat, convenient to store.
2. Hang on the wall.
3 Easy to wipe clean.
But it turned out that Tefal is disgusting in dimensions.
Tefal BC3001
1. They lie.
2. Distort the weight depending on the position of the load on the platform.
3. Glitch (After a short time, the readings begin to rise. Sometimes they fall).
4. Weight walks by + -2 grams, instead of the declared 1.
It was checked in 3 stores, I'm sure it's not a marriage.
Tefal BC4002
Almost the same.
The older models are slightly better, but also disgusting ...

As the seller suggested, for which many thanks to him, you need to compare the measurement readings with the load located in different places on the platform! Since, for example, the flour in the dishes may be on the edge, and not strictly in the center)

IMHO it is worth paying attention to the scales, which have a design similar to the Kenwood DS600, that is, 1 leg on which the platform is. Not like tefali, patented, exclusive electronic 4-sensor technology. It's funny!

I have a kenwood ds800, they are also on the same leg, BUT, depending on the location of the measured weight on the platform and the angle of inclination of the scales themselves on the surface, the weight "floats" + -1 grams, in fact this is the error declared by the manufacturer, although at the maximum measured weight 5 kg, such accuracy suits me personally.

Happened - I bought a scale BEURER KS 22. In the evening I will try it) So far, we have outweighed everything that we bought in the store by weight - cheese, sausage .. Mustache for sure) But when choosing, I encountered such a problem (I chose between beurer and soehnle) - all scales show different weight! 3 types of soehnle - up to 30 gr difference! and how that grams run on the scoreboard on empty !!! soehnle .. And it is possible for students with poor students: how can the scales measure in ml? (Milliliters, as I understand it) This is a measure of volume, not weight
Jefry
Hmm, really, is there a difference in the readings? Well, what if the same object is weighed in grams and ml? Purely theoretically, water has a density of about 1, and 100 ml should weigh 100 grams. But with milk, this number will not work a little (the error is approximately equal to the percentage of fat content). But all the same, it will come out on the scales much more accurately than in any measuring container.
