Ingredients

raw potatoes 2 pcs, (I have 320gr)
onion 1/2 pcs (40 gr)
wheat flour, I have 1c 500 g
whey (milk or buttermilk) 1 l
egg 5 pieces
salt to taste (1-2 tsp under the knife)
turmeric 1 tsp under the knife
vegetable oil to taste (I have 150ml)

Cooking method

  • Happy Shrovetide! Inspired this recipe , more precisely, I wanted to cook it, but constant liters of whey need to be attached somewhere, I figured out pancakes by eye, using Lyudmila's idea! Thank you!

  • Chop raw potatoes and onions in a mashed potato in a food processor or chopper (from a blender), add a little whey directly to the bowl and scroll again. We spread the mashed potatoes in a saucepan, add the rest of the whey, eggs (maybe less, 2-3 is enough), salt, turmeric (I wanted yellow ones) and vegetable oil. At first I added 50ml of oil, but in the process I added more, because I like these crispy all over the surface, and not just around the edges. Although, after soaking, they are no longer crispy, only hot from the pan .... so you can use 25 ml of butter.
  • Distracted, it means they put everything in a saucepan and walked with a submersible blender

I took a picture of them during the day, and when I looked at them on my computer, instead of the next photo (press the arrow to the right) I pressed the cross-delete, and so I erased everything ..... in the evening again Fotala, but it didn't work out
