Thank you for your kind words. As for the mosquito net - this is the European part, there are not so many midges, a standard repellent saves from mosquitoes and flies, enough for 15 minutes. There is a hood on the head. This is not Siberia and the Urals, they are smeared with tar there, even dogs are smeared at the very peak. By the way, it will be necessary to lubricate the back of the hands with birch tar and apply war paint with tar on the face. Exactly!
For the time being, I hit the road to the outskirts and picked up some more inflorescences, but already green and with a stem. And now, after a short rest, I saddle the iron horse and go to the neighboring village for a leaf of a pear, from which I made a wonderful tea. You can't stop there.

How glad I would be to know the name of the mosquito repellent !!!!

Baby cream mixed with vanilla. It helps noticeably, although not radically. I once went on a business trip to Kap Yar, just during the midge period. The officers used this local remedy there. From the street you enter the ITB - the first impression is like entering a pastry shop.

I'll take a note, but first I'll try the tar, although it is strong in smell, it has been tried in Siberia for centuries, and there is no baby cream or vanilla at hand.

I want to pick the foliage for the sage mix today. Will the scent of apple leaves be neutral to sage? Or is it purely my experiment will turn out ...
There is a desire to combine incompatible aromatic scents with common and commonly used ones. About mono from such herbs with the addition to mixes, I'm aware.
Feel backwards, don't support me
Radushka
Yuri K, why are you so sure that we will not support! The apple tree is absolutely neutral.Simply, you need to be prepared for the fact that fermentation transforms both the aroma and taste of spicy-flavors. And high-temperature drying will change them even more. Not the fact that for the worse, by the way. You just have to try (and tell us)
Today I am in preparation for uprooting an old strawberry bed. Emptying the freezer - making tea. Raspberry + apple + garden strawberry + lemon balm (regular and varietal "Lime"). So ... I will also ferment together. Fry two-thirds of the tea, dry one third at 70 without frying
Yuri K
Radushka, this is me who insure my experiments so that I don't hear right away
Here I have trouble with the stove, there is no exact determination of temperatures, gas, by eye))) I also plan to do it, fry some of it, and dry some, if possible))
Podmosvichka
Radushka,
Yesterday I tidied up the strawberries after picking the berries.
I washed the dangling leaves, dried them, and wither.
I collected tails from strawberries, dried them up a bit, and lie in the freezer. I want to make mono leaves - strawberry tails. Will it work?
I read that strawberries have the most useful tails
For colds, it is good to add to tea. And as a diuretic.

Yuri K, Yura, sent me his tea to try.
I did everything wrong
It smells good, the tea is fragrant, but ... I still taste like grass.
Apparently it's just not mine. I will not make a mixture. I will try to make currants, raspberries, cherries separately.
For additions to black tea.

Yura, thank you.
I didn’t write right away, I beg your pardon.
My senses, sense of smell and touch were not good for me. Because of the drugs, apparently.

And I also wanted to ask - they brought me a Belomo -01 dryer for the day of jam, the temperature is up to 75 degrees.
You can dry it in it immediately or first hold it in the oven for a while. I just have the simplest gas without a thermometer, bent
Radushka
Podmosvichka, Elena, it will, of course!
And I made a mono-strawberry meadow, but ... It seems that it would be better to mix with something ... Something is wrong with me, however ... Let's see what will happen in six months - a year.
You can dry it right away, of course. Only I don’t like it. Better with a fry.

And also, I got an injury, on these damn abandoned dachas ... I rested my gaze on the girl in the distance, did not look at my feet (I broke the most important rule) - the result, fell knee-deep into a hole under the grass, leaned on it with my whole body during the fall , I just stretched the ligaments, I'm sitting now, I get a high with a bandaged joint ((((

Mono strawberry and it seemed to me not expressive. But the taste, color and aroma are there - just unobtrusive.

Katerinka
Hello dear tea makers! Take in your ranks.
While I was studying the topic (I did not master it all, and I don't know if I can) I have already made several types of tea. The first crimson, I did it on a whim, I broke it, now I understand everything that can be broken. Last year my mother-in-law started making teas, but now I see that she does not ferment them, but simply oxidizes and dries them. So I followed her example and grabbed a little from the Internet, when the process carried away the mat began to study part. But I really liked the taste of raspberries. I dried it a little, but it happened by accident, then I froze it, did not freeze it and twisted it in a meat grinder, it turned out to be dust, nat granules in general. But when I brewed it, I liked the taste!
Then I found a mojito recipe, got interested and ready, everything you need is in stock, only I added a little apple and lemon balm there! I haven’t tried it yet, it will stand and there are fresh leaves while we drink it!
Then I decided to try the mulberry, and it grows next to the hazelnut, the children distracted them, and they were able to have two boys a year and two months old (twins), so I picked first hazelnuts and mulberries on top. I didn’t sort, made the mix steamed in the cartoon, twisted it with my hands. Not tested yet.
The neighbor gave me a little black currant, I froze them twice, according to the zachariya method, but I could not stand the layer during fermentation, and fermented for about six hours, again, the children seem to have disappeared to throw out the smell, sorry, can it stand?
The mulberry is in the freezer and I’m thinking how to do it, you can tell me in which version it is better.
Today I brought pear and prune leaves. You have written well about the pear, but you liked the smell of prunes. And the question is, when I saw that there were aphids in the colony on the prunes, should I wash it or not?
I think for the time being to do everything through a meat grinder, since the children do not allow to twist the ruami, they do not like them, that I do not devote so much time to them)
While I want to make mono teas, to understand what is mine and what is not!
And the last question (with hope in your voice), tell me in Krasnodar you can find Ivan tea and if so then at least where, I really want to make it, but I don't know where to get the raw material! She also made linden honey according to your recipe, everyone is delighted! They say that little)
liquid yeast is worth cooking)
Well, the poem turned out, I hope at least someone will read it)
Radushka
I don’t wash anything, unless the leaves are frankly dirty (then I don’t tear them).
My consumers liked the mulberry more steamed in a multi for 10 hours at +60, but, not mono, but half and half with cherries.
The pear is delicious mono.
And I have no prunes. But, I would still only use it in mixes.
There is absolutely no need to ferment black currants for so long! (could be put on the refrigerator shelf in 2-3 hours)
If you soar raspberries - to simmer in the cartoon, they are a bit granulated
Good luck!

There is a desire to combine incompatible, aromatic scents with common and commonly used ones.
Why are they incompatible? Very compatible, and constantly. I often add mint, catnip or basil a lot to the mixes of regular gatherings. All together I wither, harden in Zakhar's way, scroll, ferment, fry at 150 * (approximately, because at the dacha there is an old Hephaestus gas stove, I measure it with a remote thermometer), then dry at 70 *. Always a great result. Although there are exceptions in drying. Yesterday I made such a mix: dried Vanka 75% + 25% hardened according to Zakhar raspberry, goof, pear, catnip, mint. And there was no light for two days after the hurricane. So I had to fry and dry everything in this gas stove, but I could not set the lower temperature less than 90 *. And at the same time she was sawing another maple, which broke in half during the hurricane and blocked all exit and exit routes. And the sawn off branches still had to be pulled out. And when I sawed off the middle branches, then the trunk resting on them kissed my head well, because it is difficult to dodge while standing on the ladder. But at the same time, I did not forget to jump down and run every 10-15 minutes, mix the granules on the baking sheets and swap them. Dried up in 2-2.5 hours. I put the next batch there. By the way, the aroma of the second batch was less, yet the extra 3 hours of fermentation affected. 4 hours is optimal and 7 hours is worse. Well, this is a hopeless situation. So today this mix smells as fragrant as when drying in a dryer, only a little sweeter, candy. I like.
Sonya Mitina
Linadoc, Lina, I really liked your version of tea with the addition of mint and basil (I made one batch last year according to your report), well, my favorites are also mixes with the addition of black currant / raspberry berries in a scroll. This year I have prepared more raw materials for "Mojito", but have not made it yet. Now I already know what I like, how to combine and what to collect. The process started!
Linadoc
Quote: Sonya Mitina

Yeah, I really like this option too. But the basilica has grown a little this year, it's cold and wet. Therefore, if only from purchased or donated. This one will be used for food, pizzas and peppers in aromatic oil. That's what the bulk is, it's mint and catnip. And cypress. And spireas. And a sucker with raspberries. I will mix these.
Yuri K
Linadoc, thank you, so I will do it, otherwise I have read all the information, and the fact that frying with fermentation kills the aroma of essential oils. I don't like sage very much by the smell, it has too much camphor ... I'll see what happens with the standard algorithm mixed with an apple tree
Linadoc
Quote: Yuri K

Yeah, it shies, and then it gives off a little, and it tastes bitter, so I'm not very good at it. Mint, catnip, basil, lavender, marjoram, rosemary, hyssop go well from the spicy-aromatic ones.

Well, in general, I'll try to know for the future. Besides, if the bitterness is light, then it's not bad, it will resemble strong black tea. Well, it will not work - I will separately add ready-made granules to the mixes

Yes, something happened that I was afraid of. The electric meat grinder did not live to see the end of the tea season. The girls wrote above about some kind of magic meat grinder. Do not share the title.

A magical transformation with meadow sage takes place! After the freezer, I threw the packages on the balcony floor, after two hours I felt something familiar to me, opened it and was amazed! There is no trace of camphor, there is a sweet fruity smell, which I have tried to catch with other scents. The leaves are almost black! It seems to me that this is not the last collection of sage I will have
But the goof is still disappointing - it defrosted at the same time with sage, some kind of nasty smell. I threw everything back into the freezer, let's see what happens at the second defrost)))
Katerinka
Radushka, thanks for the answer and hints! I decided to wash it all the same, because this is the only tree, but I want to know if it's worth it or not, look for tea and make it too! And I did not regret it! I rinsed him off slightly, and put him to dry and at the same time to wither in the shade, I covered him with a sheet on top so that it would not fly apart, or even so little. After a while I go out to look, and the sun is beating down on him specifically, well, I think all the khan is to my prunes, but no, it just faded normally. I ran it into the bag, well, I think I will twist it and pick the cuttings. Somewhere in an hour I got to him, I open the package, the aroma knocks me down! Such a bouquet! It's worth fermenting, I want to make a light fermentation, so as not to lose the aroma! Now we still have to look for friends, suddenly someone grows!

And I made mulberries mixed with pears. I froze it, thought to twist it by hand, but the children decided that it was all the same in a meat grinder) I twist it, the foam goes, there are practically no granules, and the smell somehow does not please, and then I remember that Radushka said about cherries. The cherry is hanging on my tree, and the pear is already waiting for its turn, so I decided to add it by eye. When twisting for the second time, the granules stopped disintegrating. It also ferments, and I want to ask you, how long do you think it will ferment?

Katerinka, if I prepared according to Zacharias, then I ferment for 2 hours from the first twisting to the second. It turns out about 2.5 hours before the start of drying. And if we take into account the drying itself, then 5 hours pass before the end. Therefore, I put the first portions directly into the dryer and dry at 70, and the rest of the amount that I allocate for frying is already dried gradually. And if I didn’t temper the raw materials, I still try not to ferment for more than 3-4 hours.
Yes, we cut down two thorns yesterday. Narwhal some leaves. They are small and take a long time to tear. And the place in my freezers is occupied by raspberries and strawberries. Now I unrolled the twist ... and regretted that I had not enough pluck! Smell - no perfume needed!

This business! We haven't had new tea recipes for a long time!
Ternoslum is a natural hybrid of wild thorns and homemade plums. The fruit looks more like thorns. Only once in 10 is the largest. The leaves are more like plum leaves.
By the way, I used the fruits of thorny plum instead of vinegar in conservation. There are 10-15 pieces per liter jar. But, all the same, there is a plum flavor. But mirabelle (small cherry plum) does not even give a taste, only acid!
