I decided that with tea this year is all, but.
There is nothing to relax! Autumn current will start tomorrow, conductive the hottest tea time.
Quote: Radushka
spirea was circumcised for a long time by the most I can not
Finally, I never cut it off! Maybe that's why she grew so big and scored everything around. I either don't cut off raspberries, or just a little, so that I don't interfere with walking, maybe that's why I collect buckets every year?
Radushka
Linadoc, Linochka, I cut raspberries every year and more than once (I wrote already here) and collect them in buckets too. Every year I leave about 30-40 "branches" in the city. Enough for preparations, for schnapps, and for food (every day a liter is eaten only in its natural form). We sell only the one in the village. There are many. Every other day - a bucket. And my spirea sits in a flower garden 600x250. If I do not limit it, there will be no room for the rest of the flowers. So ... one bush for one variety. All.

That's for sure! It's horror how it grows, climbed over the fence to the neighbors. They, of course, are happy to huddle it there. And on the site I went to the garden, decided to decorate it, apparently. Also what to cut off, for tea? I still have a lot of raspberry leaves in the freezer, mowed them near the paths. There are not many apples this year, I have already cut many apple trees for tea. And I have 4 huge bushes of blackberries, I'll wrap it up, then I'll also put it into tea. It spins badly, hard. And mono-tea from blackberry is not very good for me, I put it in mixes.
Radushka
Linadoc, I just twisted the cherry and raspberry. Also once. My second grinder will suffer. Well him! And more ... I will not do the autumn this year. That is, October. I handed out the whole last year the other day. I tried ... I don't like it. Strongly tart, as for me.
Linochka, I have a question. Do you think you can collect leaves from Ivanushka now? I have only one bush in the city, but after collecting the first leaves along with buds and flowers, it now stands so handsome! And he threw out new buds! The leaves are small, but green, beautiful! And I want to add to tea, although there are few of them, and I'm afraid to harm the bush. I thought to leave a couple of side branches for lift, and cut the rest

can I collect the leaves from Ivanushka now?
Of course you can, you even need to! Leave the side ones, just slightly trim the top of the head, and you can rob the entire central trunk. He grows and multiplies with a rhizome, this will stimulate him, he will give new shoots from the rhizomes.

Autumn this year will not do.
Autumn just right now it is necessary to do. And observe the proportions: apple and pear are the main ones, in addition to them there is a smaller percentage - raspberries, plums, strawberries, thorns, and very little - blackberry, goof. Then there will be no astringency, and the aroma will be excellent. And it's also great to add a little conifers and barberry there. Then it will also be preventive, a little.

Aha! SCHAZ! I have the main RASPBERRY everywhere and always! ... The plum is a fish for me, the chernopldodka is already "over", and you can't go after the sucker. The rains broke the road again.
And, in general, autumn does not come before October for me. Summer is still!
Linadoc

I don't have autumn before October. Summer is still!
Come to me for the fall. I will give it away without bargaining!
Plum is not very good for me either, so I add blackthorn to teas. And now I will be a spirea. Blackthorn, sucker and spirea are one of the most important parasites in my area, they grow and germinate everywhere. I add them to teas, I add them ... and they grow even faster.Come, I'll give it back together with the fall

Likar Nadiya, Linadoc, girls, thank you very much for the beautiful and informative photo reports on different teas.
Lina, on the spirea I will make a link to the first page.

Ludmila, and I also made your amber pie) I liked it very much) like not a charlotte, and not just an apple pie ...

No, I'd rather live in the summer! And for tea I have enough raspberries and wild pears in the village. And when my Ivanushka gets divorced ... I'll turn around in full!
I can share the harsh one myself. Because of her, they changed the trimmer to a brushcutter
udalov
Hello. Tell me, do yellow plum leaves after drying and meat grinder granulate well, or do they need to freeze?
Linadoc
Maxim, did not make mono-tea, in mixes it is good. I did both according to Zachary and classically - the granules are good. The taste is not expressive, but there is still a certain aroma, and sourness.

Not nada, I have it - it is thorny. I myself for the brushcutter, I pump up the muscles. Hand-braided shaping every week - and you're slim

Good sunny morning! And a beautiful sun gull to him. This is an apple tree with dried apple pieces. Aged for 1.5 months. The tea leaves have a baked apple smell))

udalov, Maxim, with proper drying it is good. It turns out beautiful tea. But not tasty ... So add the yellow plum to the mix as you were advised.

Likar Nadiya, Nadia, I've already spoiled myself with your photos! I like to look at them. Well, very nice tea! Well done you! Great tea!
I also really like apple and pear. I won't say that they are my favorite ones, but when I drink them, I think that this tea is the most delicious! But lately I haven't made a mono pear and a mono apple - only in mixes. They behave very well there!
Likar Nadiya
Ludmila, thanks for the rating))) I met apple-currant tea here, I want to make it, I think it should work out.

Good morning! Here is my cherry, wrong))) I collected leaves from the most common "yard" cherries and from the neighboring cherry growth. The tea turned out to be insanely aromatic: cherries, almonds, notes of vanilla, a little bitterness ... Something indescribable! .. But at the same time, it is light. In the photo - 3h. l. for 500ml, in real life it is even lighter. But that doesn't upset me. The main thing is delicious!))

Radushka
Likar Nadiyawhy wrong? I make a very aromatic (too much for me) and weak tea from any cherry. This year I have paired cherries with raspberries equally. Not brewed yet. But, hopefully, the raspberry added color to the cherry.
Likar Nadiya
Radushka, I'm talking about color. I like the scent. But the color, I thought, would be dark.
Radushka
Likar Nadiya, oh, the main thing is that you like the taste and aroma!

DOGWOOD!!! Two bushes (2.5 meters) of dogwood grow in the yard. This year they did not give fruit, but a lot of foliage. Did the batch test smell like it. And then everything is according to the recipe - collected, wilted, meat grinder, fermentation, oven, drying. While fermenting, it smelled like grape leaves. I liked the tea right away, brewed it, and shared my impressions. But he stood for a month and became even better. Color - tea, transparent. There is no bright aroma, but the delicate smell of dogwood is well felt, dry tea has the same. The taste is pleasant, with a slight acidity of cornel fruit, slightly tart (14% tannin in the leaves!). I liked both mono, and added a little to the mixes.

Dogwood leaves seemed to me dryish, like currants. They are generally rough and brittle. But the meat grinder was tolerated. And there was enough moisture in the mass. The granules turned out to be rather loose, there is also dust. It might make sense to freeze
Radushka
Likar Nadiya, thanks for the information! It’s a pity, I don’t have a dogwood and most likely will not.

Likar Nadiya, exactly! Pear is a decoration of the table and any mix!
Likar Nadiya
Radushka, I like the pear and mono))) I made a mix on its basis, I have not tried it yet. And this tea from a strange wild-pear - on August 1, all the leaves were already burgundy-red)))
Likar Nadiya
Good evening! I made tea from hawthorn leaves. Made with a recipe. The tea is good! Dark tea color, transparent. There may not be a characteristic aroma, but it does not smell of grass either; the smell, rather, of black tea with rose hips. The taste is soft, like rosehip tea, but without sourness. Tartness is also felt. How mono tea, I liked it.

These are two mulberries - (left to right) fermented and steamed. The first one I don't like at all, neither the smell, nor the taste, some kind of varnish-colorful smell. But steamed mulberry is a completely different matter. I didn't like it right away, but a month later I changed. The taste of good green tea, with some kind of fruity flavor. I did the steamed one according to the method of Zachariah. Here's a berry.
mironirina
Good day! Walking in the woods, I came across a young berry growth. I picked up the leaves, wilted, now it's freezing. Question: should it be mixed with other leaves?
Of course, it is full of tannins, but what will the taste be? Will I spoil the rest of the raw materials? I very much ask the respected moderator or those who have already had a similar experience to answer.
filirina
Untested leaves are best done mono to avoid disappointment! You can mix with others later. Badan, let's say, has a very specific taste!
Elena Kadiewa
mironirina, Irina, on page 1 there is a link to badan, read. If you have already collected, then do only mono. And only the brown leaves of badan, which have undergone natural fermentation, are collected.
