Elena K, Sergey345, congratulations on your purchase. cook goodies with ease)))
Hurrah. Polaris users are coming out of the underground!
I unsubscribe in bowls. came a week later, we had snow blockages on our roads. fit well, already cooked. until they stick))) - for 3 days of use.
in general, the coverage is good, which is in Polaris Teflon, in the Daikin Redmond. handles are missing from both, but it does not bother me - it is convenient to get it with the help of oven mitts / towels.
tuskarora
From today on again this cartoon is on the Comfi network for the same price !!! I ordered, they promise to bring on Tuesday

Galina, where did you order the bowls? How much are? And unsubscribe, in terms of quality: which one is better? Thank you.
Olga Sanna
Unfortunately, there is no topic about the Polaris I have chosen, I will sit with you girls, I will be happy with your purchases)))tuskarora, brought you a cartoon?
tuskarora
So it means. The cartoon has arrived. The first impression is very pleasant. For some reason it seemed to me from the drawings that it was large, but no - a very compact, lightweight, comfortable handle. It is worth getting warm and weathered. The smell is of course strong so far. I will turn it on tomorrow, because I forgot to buy an extension cord for joy. My work table is already full, so my new girl settled in the freezer. The wires are missing. So experiments tomorrow. By the way, they fooled this Kovaleva with a book - it's dumb. But according to reviews on the store's website, this is a common problem, almost no one who bought it in Comfi does not. But to be honest, not really that and nada. By the way, this model has risen in price since yesterday. I ordered another 888 UAH and yesterday I went to the site - lo and behold, already 1119 UAH. Today I go for a cartoon and think - at what price will they give it to me? But all honestly, they gave it the old way.
Olga Sanna, have you ordered 0531? Good model but there is no yearning, but I wanted this program. But it can be replaced with a three-stage multi-cook.
Olga Sanna
tuskarora, I congratulate you on such a joyful purchase!
I didn't order. There is a shop in the neighboring town of Rubtsovsk, I plan to go there on the weekend. And on the site you can order, but this model does not fit the category of "pickup" and besides, there is no information on this particular city. But nevertheless, usually what is on the Barnaulsky site is also in Rubtsovsk. So it was with the scales, I bought a couple of weeks ago. But I think they won't buy it and I will buy it. If suddenly it will not be all the same I will wait until they bring her)))
tuskarora
So, let's start testing. I want to try all programs.
Today, for a start, I boiled milk (for yogurt) on the "milk porridge" program for 20 minutes. I noticed that there is no active boiling. The milk is undoubtedly boiled. The thermometer showed a milk temperature of 94.5 degrees. Nothing was burnt, nothing ran away. Well done cartoon!

Now I have put on white bread. 1st stage - 45 minutes, 2nd stage 1 hour, temperature 160 degrees. I will post the photo as it is baked. Loved the good thermal insulation multi. The sides and bottom are not hot.
tuskarora
This is how old Panasik and young Polya became friends
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

But this is the bread.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

An hour of baking is even a lot. About 15 minutes before the end, I opened the lid and stuffed the temperature probe into the bread. Two minutes later I looked - already 100 degrees. That is, the bread is baked. But I held it until the end of the program and turned it over again and kept it on baking for 10 minutes. the bread turned out to be quite decent. In terms of taste, it is closer to bread from HP than from the oven, but still not quite the same. Something in between. The pulp is rather large-pored. The crust is crunchy after cooling. In general, if you are too lazy to drive the oven, it is quite sometimes possible to bake bread in MV. Of course, a ciabatta or baguette will not work, but a decent table bread is quite.

And now I put the yogurt. Homemade milk, Vivo sourdough. Put it 5 hours - let's see what comes out.
Tomorrow we plan to test the programs Zharka and Multipovar plus.
tuskarora
So, let's continue the conversation. The yoghurt came out just great. Yogurt program works for 5+

Today I made steaks with potatoes and cheese.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

As you can see, the meat is quite fried.
At first I wanted to do it on a multi-cooker + but did not figure it out at first because of an error in the instructions (I found out later).
Therefore, I first turned on the frying 160 degrees for 30 minutes. First, I let it warm up and, upon the bell, threw pre-marinated steaks into the pan. At first it sizzled strongly, but then, as mentioned above, the temperature dropped. In general, the meat was stewed rather than fried. I added a bow to it. I put chopped potatoes on top, salt and pepper. Then I switched to the program "Baking" and now she pleasantly surprised me. There, the default temperature is 140 degrees, and I decided that if the nefig is not fried at 160, then at 140 and even more so. But after ten minutes, looking into the pan, I found that the steaks were fried like that, turned them over, mixed them with potatoes, poured mayonnaise on top of it and sprinkled with cheese. In another fifteen minutes everything was ready.

The program is adequate. All OK.

tuskarora, thanks for the reports. We look forward to continuing. And for complete happiness, please provide your model batch number.
tuskarora
And where to look at the batch number?

Pork-type meat
Multipovar + program
1 stage 30 min 155 degrees
Stage 2 4 hours 90 degrees
Stage 3 30 minutes 110 g
4 stage 30 min 155 gr.
In this case, I just wanted to test the program With temperature conditions, then I will think over more accurately. The meat was first fried, then languished, and then I simply evaporated the excess liquid.
Very tasty! The meat before that day was marinated in orange juice with mustard and spices.
tuskarora
Today I tested the program "Milk Porridge"
Time 1 hour. The temperature is preset.
The porridge was rice. The recipe is taken from the book of recipes that came with the cartoon. A glass of rice, 5 glasses of milk, sugar, salt, butter, and I also threw candied fruits. The book said a cooking time of 30 minutes and heating 15 minutes. But after 30 minutes the rice grains were still slightly al dente and I just left the program to finish working for 1 hour. The result - the porridge is very tasty, good consistency, nothing burnt, nothing escaped. Program - 5 points.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

Well, what program are we testing next?
Manna
Good porridge result! And she didn't try to run at all? Can't you see it on the walls?
tuskarora
Manna, right now, I specifically went to look. The walls are clean. The level where the liquid rose during boiling is a maximum of 1/3 of the height of the pan. When I was cooking at 10 minutes I looked in and found that it was boiling actively. And after 10 minutes she looked - and she gurgles very peacefully. Apparently, after bringing to a boil, the temperature drops and the porridge languishes rather than cooks. I have not guessed to check the temperature on the lower and upper sensors. Of course, if you make a portion three times more, it can and will get away. But I can’t imagine how much milk porridge could be produced. The portion that I got for 5 people to have breakfast. And since we eat milk porridge only me and my dog, then with him another 2 days will be enough.
Manna
Since she was boiling at the 10th minute, I'm afraid she will run at the cross section, although maybe the height of the bowl will be enough
tuskarora
Unfortunately, I won't check it on the section, there is no more of it in the house.
Now I've put in a potato casserole with mushrooms. True, I have already tried the baking program, but I just wanted the casserole.
ZagAl

When I was cooking at 10 minutes, I looked in and found that it was boiling actively ...

Since the lid was opened, the temperature got lost. And maybe you opened at the right time, so you didn't run away (God forbid). For the purity of the experiment, try not to open it next time, but make sure that the porridge does not run away by putting the steaming container. Moreover, the smaller the portion (within reasonable limits), the greater the likelihood of overheating, i.e. escape.
And by the way, when does the countdown start? Immediately after starting the program or after reaching the temperature regime?
tuskarora
ZagAl, I think that opening the lid has nothing to do with it. After all, when I opened the boil it was in full swing, that is, if I wanted to run away, I would have run away. Okay, next time for the purity of the experiment we will do it without opening the lids.
As for the countdown, in this program it starts right away.

Today I cooked stewed mushrooms in sour cream. Initially, I was going to check the "Saute" program, but it turned out that I checked Fry again.
In general, I poured oil into the bowl and turned on the Frying program for 160 grams. 30 minutes. At the signal, she threw the chopped onion and closed the lid. When I looked in 15 minutes later (in the meantime, I was cleaning everything, cutting it into soup, etc.), I found that the onion was very pleasantly golden! And if she had missed this moment, she would soon have burned. That is, we conclude that frying frying, onions and any not very juicy products is possible in this model, but with a closed lid (and not with an open one, as in the instructions). Then I threw the thawed mushrooms (mushrooms) to the onion and closed the lid again. When the program was over, I ran it again. Interestingly, on the second run it was very intense, the mushrooms were fried in this way. But for some reason, the time was not counted on the scoreboard. Well, okay. When the mushrooms reached the desired condition, I interrupted the program. I put in sour cream, salt, pepper, and turned on the Saute program. The mushrooms were quietly extinguished on this program.
This program is very calm without active bubbling.
Sorry, I'm not posting a photo, there is nothing more to take pictures. Because, parallel to me, Panasik cooked buckwheat porridge, my husband came, well, you know, buckwheat and mushrooms ........
tuskarora
Today I tested the program "Plov". Here is the result.

Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

So so. I made frying on the Frying program and I ....... burned onions while I was cutting meat. So the Frying program is quite intense, you just have to get used to it.

Pilaf program. Everything as usual. For 2 cups of rice (ordinary not cartoon), 4 cups of water. Since the program is sensory, I decided to check how sensory it is. Therefore, I set the time to 1 hour and 30 minutes. I expected it to take about an hour. But after 25 minutes the signal sounded. I honestly got upset, I thought something was broken. Painfully fast. But I open the cartoon and see a completely finished pilaf. He was a little bit damp. But while I went for a plate, cut the bread, etc., upon opening it turned out that absolutely everything was normal, the pilaf was crumbling, even slightly fried from below. In general, compared to Panasik, this cartoon pilaf does better and faster.
Program score - 5+.
Manna
This is how the overheating protection of the bowl works in the stewing modes, in order to prevent the food from burning when the liquid boils away. The "Quenching" mode works according to the same principle in some multicooker - when the liquid boils off, the multicooker switches to heating. The touch mode is usually not time-controlled, after the liquid has boiled off, the time counts down, and the bottom is lightly fried / dried.
tuskarora
Manna, yes the principle is clear. In Panasika it works the same way, it's just that the time does not change there. I just, by analogy with Panasonic, was guided by about an hour of time. And it turned out twice as fast. so I'm very happy.I cook pilaf very often, my men respect it very much, so the program will be one of the most popular.
Manna
In Panasonic, the "Plov" mode is touch-sensitive. And here, what has been described is not at all what is considered to be a touch mode. Although Polaris has already positioned several of its latest models in this way, But in any case - such modes are very convenient - there is no fear that the dish will burn when the liquid is completely boiled away
tuskarora
Well, if the saucepan feels that it's time to turn off, not because the time has run out, but because the content has reached a certain state, then it is difficult to call this mode any other way as touch. Well, in general, it doesn't matter what the name is. The main thing is that it is really convenient.
Manna

I agree very much! I really love these modes. I like them much more than the classic touchscreens.

Help with barley !! The first time I cooked it on KRUPA, soaked the barley overnight, 1 glass of cereal for 4 glasses of water, for an hour. As a result, very overcooked, paste, all the time trying to escape, and everything spattered. The second time on OVSYANKA, the groats were soaked overnight, 1 glass of cereals, 3 mills of water, 1 hour, frankly not cooked, I had to add more water and cook, the same is not happy about the result. The third time MULTIPOOK 100 degrees, 1 hour, did not soak, only washed, the cereal water 1 / 3.5 was also very boiled, everything spattered, I tried to escape a couple of times. What to do ? What am I doing wrong? I want a delicious crumbly porridge for a side dish. Or is it not real.
tuskarora
The main thing is not to panic! Everything will work out for you. I haven't boiled barley yet. But I promise to do it one of these days, and then I will report to you. Perhaps you should try the pilaf program? Another option is to try with a multi-cook +. Set the first stage to a higher temperature, the second to such that it is on the verge of boiling, so that the cereals languish and not boil. And let the third one be slightly higher, so that if excess liquid remains, evaporate. And 4 glasses of water per glass of pearl barley, and even soaked in my opinion, this is a lot. The normal ratio in cartoons is cereal: water 1: 2.

It was I who tested the Baking program. Changed nothing - standard hour of time and preset temperature. As you can see, everything is OK. Someone I remember wrote that the casserole was dry. This one is very juicy. This despite the fact that having put the casserole, I lay down to lie down and knocked me out. I woke up - the screen is red and the number 15 is on it. That is, it also stood on the heating. The husband, in principle, is not very respectful of cottage cheese, he said that it was just "Bird's milk". Very gentle, really.

Please, but nothing new. There are a lot of such recipes here. That's why I didn't post it.
Cottage cheese - 600 gr
Eggs - 3 pcs.
sugar - 2/3 cup (regular)
vanilla sugar - sachet
semolina - 1 multi-glass
milk - 1 multi-glass
salt - 1 tsp.
baking powder 1 tsp
Grease the bottom of the bowl with oil.
Pour semolina with milk, stir and leave for 20 minutes.
divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Punch cottage cheese, sugar, yolks, salt with a blender until fluffy, add baking powder, semolina, mix. Beat the whites until firm peaks and stir in portions into the curd mass. Bake on pastries. Default settings. It is better to open the lid in 15-20 minutes after switching off. Allow to cool and only then remove.
tuskarora
Testing the Krupa program. 1 cup wheat chaff and 2 cups water. Cup for a dog.
The lid was not opened for the purity of the experiment. The porridge was ready in 20 minutes. Look for yourself - no attempts to escape. The sides of the bowl and the lid are absolutely clean. The program is adequate.

Poget, what kind of escape on the water? This is the same mode for cereals as a side dish. Does he ever run away from anyone (unless trying to cook a full bowl of soup with milk in this mode)? Did the mode work for the entire set time or did it turn off when the water boiled off?
tuskarora
Yes, like the girls wrote that someone ran away Maybe I was wrong?
The mode works until the water boils away. By default, there was 40 minutes and it turned off after 20.
Elenka1724
I have been using this slow cooker recently, I like everything, but one BUT! Before putting pilaf, I fry the meat with onions and carrots, so as soon as all the liquid from the meat evaporates, it starts to burn to the bowl !!! There is enough oil though. And it begins to squeak, it is not clear why, although it clearly means something. And since the bottom of the bowl is corrugated, then it is impossible to wash ... Does anyone burn? Am I doing something wrong?
Manna
Elenka, and fry in oil? It's just that the ceramic coating has a peculiarity in terms of frying - it sticks without oil. And squeaks ... What do you mean? Does not frying work here as well as in the new 0517 (first heating, then signal and countdown)?
tuskarora
I did pilaf twice - nothing stuck at all. And she gives a signal on the frying prog when the bowl has warmed up to the desired temperature.
tuskarora
I cooked buckwheat twice on the Krupa program. Everything seems to be fine, but from Panasik I like buckwheat more. I don’t even know what the difference is. But not that. It seems to be boiled over and everything is as it should be. But something is wrong.

Today I tried out the Pasta program. A very good time step of 1 minute. The countdown begins after boiling. The boil signal is quite loud and is repeated several times. The boiling is active, but nothing escaped, although I forgot and cooked with the lid closed and not open as per the instructions. In 15 minutes the water evaporated and I turned off the cartoon. The evaluation of the program is 5.
Huligank @
Hello everybody!
Yesterday we bought a multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

In the morning I cooked buckwheat with mushrooms. Using the "multi-cook" mode at 160 degrees, I did something like frying (although neither onions nor carrots got golden color), then I added ready-made buckwheat (cooked on the stove, because I was afraid to fall asleep raw). It turned out very tasty, my husband is happy.

I just made a biscuit pie. Everything was baked perfectly, only perspiration has accumulated on the walls and the lid (inside). The only negative is that the cake does not turn out rosy, like in the oven
Manna

The only negative is that the cake does not turn out rosy, like in the oven
This is a minus of all multicooker without exception. But it does not dry out, like many ovens
tuskarora
During these weeks of using the CF, I discovered a drawback - the drip tray is not functional at all. All condensate does not collect in it, but in such a depression near the lid fastener. This, of course, does not matter, nothing gets inside for baking, but why then do it at all? Despite the fact that the same Polaris in SKV 0205 has a very good drip tray.

I also tried the Pelmeni / sausage mode and cooked dumplings with potatoes on it. Everything was cooked fine. The program is adequate. Most often I use Baking, Casserole, pilaf, frying yogurt.

Do all the happy owners of Polaris 0523 have a display with programs and clocks in the off state?
tuskarora
Well, it lights up - it says loudly. But the time and the list of programs are visible.

Has anyone tried steaming fish? Share the recipe
tuskarora
Sorry, I don’t use steam. Look at the forum, just enter "steamed fish" into the search engine. Good luck.
Barmaleich
We have been using polaris 0523 for two months, we have forgotten about the existence of an electric stove in general! Previously, the most important thing was to wash pancakes from burnt and frozen fat. Now they have completely forgotten about it! We closed the lid of the electric stove and put a cartoon on it (under the hood).

They made cereals, casseroles, stewed vegetables and meat, made yoghurt from activia, steamed, baked bread, stewed in simmering mode, baked turkey in foil, etc., etc. 30 minutes, but leave for another 40 minutes on the heat without opening the lid.

Porridge - they come out great, but you need to get used to it a little. The porridge cooking program stops when the liquid boils away, this is monitored by a sensor in the lid.
For other groats, the proportions most likely need to be selected, depending on your preferences. Moreover, the cooking results (according to the same program) of cereals from different manufacturers may differ. When soaking cereals, the result will also differ from ideal.
By the way, for the best effect, it is recommended in the instructions to leave the porridge for 10 minutes on heating.

The very first cooking of rice came out perfectly crumbly. The proportions were taken as follows: there is as much water in the bowl before the CUP indicator as before that they had poured multi-cups of rice + a little more (half a multi-cup) in reserve.

The spare bowl helps a lot. Polarisovskaya 0501 (without handles) with a non-stick coating is perfect. Unlike native ceramic, it is not afraid of temperature changes. Five-liter bowls from Redmond and other manufacturers are suitable, a lot, but you have to try on. Lightweight cheap bowls like the Delfa 50 model are not suitable due to the low weight of the bowl (empty) - the sensor does not work.

In general, we are satisfied with the car. Shaitan machine!

Yes, with hot, not everything is smooth with this model - too gentle mode. But not everything is as bad as it seems. Can be deep-fryed or baked.
tuskarora
Barmaleich is glad that you are happy with the machine. The machine is really not bad. I have no complaints about the programs. I tried everything except Tincture.
BUT!!!!
For four months of use, two comments have matured. The bowl starts to stick. Not critical, easy to clean, but unpleasant. And second - when buying, pay attention to the lid latch. I started to weaken. Once on the Bread program, it spontaneously opened. Now I carefully look every time when I close, so that there is a click. Does anyone else have such a glitch?
Barmaleich
Quote: tuskarora
The bowl starts to stick

No wonder. Ceramics, which are now so popular (or rather, untwisted) are less tenacious. It loses its non-stick properties over time, usually after several months. The main enemies of ceramic coatings are acid and temperature extremes.
The way out is to buy a bowl with a non-stick coating that will last longer.

I haven't seen any problems with the lid yet.
