Actually, everything is on the topic, by its name Vacuum cleaner Kirby without any violations.
Lilyanna
sazalexter, I see you somehow personally touched this topic)) I heard your opinion and took note of it. do you need something else from me so that you start writing on the topic?
igorechek
This is how we write on the topic.
I used to think in facts and not with my soul when choosing a technique.
As a fan of the miracle technology, I never TOLD you - what are the obvious advantages of cleaning or accessories, what would you pay such crazy money?
A good bag vacuum cleaner for 4.000-14.000 is no worse in terms of the assembly of the device itself and the quality and suction power.
Like a washing vacuum cleaner - it doesn't work ...
It does not work as a steam generator ...
Like a vacuum cleaner with an aquafilter - it doesn't work ...
So this also turns out to be an office slacker with a deputy's pay ...
I know people, especially old or seriously ill people, who have been put on dietary supplements of 100,000 or pseudo-drugs who fool people. Because of one such, an acquaintance with epilepsy died - she gave the last one for treatment ...
And it is on this that the scoundrels get out, promising health and luring the latter. It's not a pity who has the means, it's a pity who hopes for the best, for example, allergy sufferers, and spread the latter ...
I remember buying a Zepter some time ago. So while buying, sellers licked so that you can not wash. And he paused, immediately lost interest and went almost rude ... Here is the same "concern" here.
So what are the advantages for this price? In addition to being a good vacuum cleaner.
sazalexter
Lilyanna Exclusively on the topic. igorechek Here are the facts:
We test Kirby vacuum cleaners taken from here 🔗
Quote:
It should be noted that the bulk of the dust is collected by the turbo brush, without which the vacuum cleaner is useless, since it has more than modest power. This can be easily verified by testing the rest of the attachments, for example, for removing dust from upholstered furniture. Later, on the Kirby website ( 🔗) I looked at the specifications. The maximum power consumption declared by the manufacturer when operating in the "low-speed mode of the direct-flow configuration" (this is how the mode of operation with a turbo brush is called "cleverly") is only 580 watts. And in the "container configuration with hose nozzles" (all others) - even less, 120 watts. And note - this is the consumed power (!), What is the useful power is not mentioned at all. But the maximum air flow rate, the operating speed of the engine rotation and many more indicators that are useless for the consumer are indicated.
And a few nozzles in general caused bewilderment. For example, why is there a massage device in the vacuum cleaner, I can't put my mind to it! Apparently to rip off more money. Or, for example, have you met people who would think of using a vacuum cleaner as a polishing machine? I have not personally met. Yes, all these attachments, of course, expand the functionality of the vacuum cleaner, but they have nothing to do with its "direct duties" and are unlikely to be used in everyday life.
Most vacuum cleaners of well-known European brands are installed in series: dust bag, motor filter and exhaust filter. Kirby is a very mediocre vacuum cleaner in terms of the degree of air filtration, since only a dust bag acts as a filter element (and there are no other filters). This system provides a HEPA H10 filtration level (or HEPA H11 if using a special bag). The HEPA H10 standard means that out of 10 grams of fine dust (particles up to 0.06 microns) from the vacuum cleaner, 1.5 g (i.e. 15%) will get back into the room.HEPA H11 implies a return of no more than 0.5 grams. Vacuum cleaners recommended for people suffering from asthma should be equipped with HEPA H12 filters (return dust output no more than 0.05 g) or HEPA H13 (no more than 0.005 g).

Lilyanna You just need to split this topic into two. the first is reviews and opinionsand the second isexchange of experience and user advice... This will exclude such disputes and make it possible to "pour out the painful". Well, for those who are on the way to purchasing this device, both topics will be useful.
Lilyanna
Yes, I already understood that it is useless to appeal to reason here, people who have never bought and are not going to buy this vacuum cleaner are simply exhausted from the desire to prove to everyone and everyone that this is too expensive equipment. what for? I do not know. but, be that as it may, they go out of their way to convey "their opinion" to everyone who wants and does not want to know. although no one is campaigning for the purchase of this unit. thanks to those who answered essentially, I am using more functions now)

Such negative reactions to the fact that Kirby vacuum cleaners do not justify their prices are completely incomprehensible. Everyone has the right to express his or her opinion, especially if, at the same time, a person relies on some completely competent sources.
However, some, trying, at least in their own eyes, to justify such an unprofitable purchase (the toad, nevertheless, presses), tries to praise this vacuum cleaner.

Perhaps these vacuum cleaners and expensive ones are not so good - but this is everyone's right to buy and use what he likes and share his impressions. And this topic was created to discuss specifically this vacuum cleaner and not how it is sold and how expensive. Let users share their experiences. For example, this is also interesting to me, although perhaps I will never buy it. As for unsuccessful purchases, I think everyone has a bad experience of purchasing them. User and!!! Ay !!! write please !!! I would like more details.

nobody praises or imposes anything on anyone. backlash comes in response to aggressive attempts to prove the vacuum cleaner is too expensive. Yes, for someone too much, but for someone not not. here is not what I wanted to discuss. it's like buying a car, someone buying a Zhiguli, and someone buying a Bentley. So what? Now the owners of the Lada will point at the owners of the Bentleys and say "you suckers, you were thrown, you could buy 10 Lada with this money, but you bought one car!" this is stupid!

the toad does not press me. the vacuum cleaner is a gift from her husband. and this is far from the only expensive gift from him. and the family budget did not suffer from this, believe me. so don't project.

from what I use
- I actually vacuum the carpet
- carpet dry cleaning
- dry cleaning of a blanket, which is washed. the machine does not fit
- cleaned the sheepskin coat. although it was not dirty, but it refreshed it before winter.
-cleaning of old Soviet radiators. very simple, fast and clean.
- inflation of rubber items, mattress, etc.
-the husband was doing whitewash in the garage. speaks very conveniently.
-It is even more convenient to get all sorts of little things that have fallen behind the sofa using a radiator nozzle, the brush is made so that pencils and pens are attracted, but not sucked in.

did not use:
-so did not dare to try the massager.
- so we didn’t get around to vacuuming the curtains.

If there are more ideas, I will be glad.

Good evening everyone
Today I did the cleaning and, remembering you, Lilyanna, tried to concentrate on her actions with Kirby (usually thoughts are in the clouds, and the hands themselves perform the usual actions to change the necessary attachments).
I will try to state
- it is convenient to clean upholstered furniture with the Zip-brush nozzle, if the upholstery is fabric (I have velor anti-claw in the living room and a "sack" on my daughter's sofa): the nozzle rotates and the brushes "comb out" fine dust from the fabric, and in my case, stuck hard dog hairs ... If, after such cleaning, you pat your hand on the surface of the sofa, then even in the bright rays of a sunny day, not a single speck of dust is visible in the air.
- I really love the round nozzle with long natural bristles: it is convenient (on a long handle, so as not to bend over) to vacuum the floor baseboards, instead of squatting with a damp cloth (especially near walls with wallpaper). I also use it for a computer keyboard, speakers (including those covered with fabric), delicate cleaning of fabric floor lamps (I have already given it to lovers of the classics - the same dust collector). In the summer, when the ubiquitous tiny spiders weave their webs in the most unexpected places, it is convenient to use this extension pipe attachment to remove the cobwebs from ceiling spotlights, shades and ceiling plinths - soft natural bristles prevent damage to bulbs, glass and paint. But for polished surfaces and screens, this attachment is not suitable - horse hair can leave the finest scratches. This happened to me with a flat-screen TV stand (for this purpose I use a hand broom, the finest fibers of which are electrified and attract dust).
Well, for now ... I'll be glad to be of service
Lilyanna
Thank you
AlKA
And thanks a lot from me.

I also use the Zip-Brush attachment all the time and today I have plans.
Special thanks for the idea of cleaning the shades with a round brush, this is very important for me, I'll try it out today. I use the same brush to clean bookshelves and books. Fortunately, you can reach high, you do not need to climb on stools.

I would never take Kirby in my life. Throw away such money, don't understand why ... I chose Thomas because she also wanted a washing machine. I am very happy, copes with her task with a bang. And laminate flooring and carpets. It's not clear what Kirby can do that Thomas can't? Although this is IMHO.
YanOchka-
He knows how to do DRY dry cleaning. After Thomas, the carpet is damp enough. In Sochi, now they sell 39,000 shop windows and 57,000 new ones. Delivery to the regions.
Levreta
It is very expensive and unnecessary. Everyone is constantly complaining about Kirby. That people pay huge money is generally incomprehensible for what. Then they sue the company. Better to take two Thomas for this money.

Well, you can't please everyone, because many people also complain about the Tomases. It is very possible that after Thomas Kirby will hit something ...

Not a universal vacuum cleaner, and you don't really use this dumbbell every day, but it is impossible to argue with that to clean up beds, upholstered furniture or deep carpets from dust with a bang. Especially if you try it yourself.

It just so happened, I bought from a neighbor in the garage, the man went to live in another country. He sold it to me for 6 thousand, was lying in his garage, his son used to sell them. I washed it cleaned, replaced the broken wire, played for a month and sold it to Avito. A little man came and said that he had a presentation yesterday, he didn't even bargain. Well yes...sold "a little" more expensive, needed a good construction dust, was going to make repairs. And I have a very good household vacuum cleaner.
Leaving aside the question of network marketing and pricing, although many here consider this to be the main topic. What can you say?
It is not badly made, everything is fitted, a metal case, a bunch of nozzles, made by kandovo, it is quite convenient to disassemble, well, that's all.
Someone here in the subject compared it to a car, a foreign car. If your foreign car is working so loudly, contact the service for problems with the muffler most likely.
A line with a filter after the engine compartment, so that dirt adheres both inside it and on the impeller. For those who have a screwdriver on "you", trips to the service are guaranteed, for periodic scraping. The suction power (yes the owners will forgive me) is average, nothing outstanding. Moreover, when the hose is connected, the power decreases even more. After cleaning the apartment, you feel that you don't need a gym. A slight tingling sensation begins in the muscles - this is the release of lactic acid in them. According to my fillings, about 10 kg shell, without debris and wires.
The turbo brush is good, but nothing better than in other dust with an electric turbo brush. It turned out to be a whole problem to crawl with such a hole somewhere. There is also a problem with upholstery. Having dispersed a 10-kilogram projectile, it is also necessary to stop it in time, of course not curling, but everything. Of course, I am not offended by force, but I feel sorry for the furniture.
I got the vacuum cleaner with two bags. Climbed into no to see how much they cost, surprised a little. 1500 - 6 pcs.
I liked the nozzle that looks like a shower, for combing out, with natural bristles.
In general, the unit resembled an old Soviet electric polisher, if anyone remembers, lawn mowers were also made from it.

Unfortunately, it has not surpassed the turbo brush (electric) on my dust, it can only be rotated.

How did you determine?

Cat hair on the black carpet
Bijou
Oh, I see.))
Only I was not talking about sweeping, but about knocking out. They all sweep well, even a regular turbo with decent power. But they don't pick anything out of the depths of the carpets, sofas, beds. ((No matter how thoroughly and often I cleaned with another vacuum cleaner, with or without a brush, but even very occasionally driving Kirby across the carpets, I fill up a very decent amount of garbage.

but even very occasionally running Kirby across the carpets, I fill up a very decent amount of trash.
Perhaps I did not pay attention to my home, probably, too, is gaining something. But Kirby, he would have more suction power and maneuverability, he would not have a price. It was not my option, I have parquet everywhere, only one carpet and that is not large, upholstered furniture - leather, although the apartment is large 4, but there are a lot of corners of turns, nooks and crannies. It needs space - for example, hotel corridors.
But thanks to him, I got an excellent construction starmix for 32 liters, which hawala everything and putty and cement, I even clean the concrete floor in the garage with it. Here.
Bijou
Congratulations on Starmix.)) We have similar functions in the antediluvian typhoon, in which that putty is already pouring from all the cracks, but it still works.

Yes, I won't argue at all - Kirby is a good thing, but highly specialized.)) Not everyone is useful. But his attachments - shine! The parquet brush collects dust so cool that I was stunned when I shoved it under the sofa and took out everything hung with small nuts and cat toys - the kittens threw it on, the old vacuum cleaners just moved the little thing back and forth, and this dunce pulled it out. Slowly you roll this brush on the dusty floor and you can see how dust literally runs there from different sides. But on the other hand, brushing this spinning brush from the hair is a pleasure so-so. ((

No, we turn it on only for the sake of dry cleaning carpets, knocking out everything that can be knocked out and when blowing back is needed. And, sometimes they vacuum their cars, they save money through blowing through the bags. Just kidding, just zip-brush all the nooks and crannies are easily swept out.

Cool. Honestly, I regret that I gave the Kirby with this shower head with natural bristles, for the salon it is probably the best. I made a fool. It was necessary to leave the nozzle adapted somehow, although the diameter of the pipes there is different.
For parquet, I use a gray swirl nozzle that turns in both directions and sucks in from the sides, I really like it, it is so maneuverable, the edges are rubberized.

Yeah, a good thing, only we have an old model, sillier shaggy.))

He rides very easily on his wheels. A child of 4-7 years old rolls it freely. true in a large space where you can freely make a turn. So, as mentioned earlier, it does not have much maneuverability.
With the on (working) state, the speed must be turned on by pressing the pedal (red side), and with the OFF state. step on the gray side of the pedal, (disconnect the drive) and go to the "parking" in the corner.
If you have difficulty moving around when it is turned on, it is possible that the belt (or whatever is inside) broke (disconnected, etc.)

IMHO, Tomas is better both in quality and in price. I do not consider bag vacuum cleaners at all. I ate my fill of these bags. When replacing the bag, all dust flies to the sides, ugh)
