Mistletoe, I baked baguettes today. Everything is fine, but there was no whey (replaced with water) and forgot about the stone (inverted baking sheet). And first baked at T 180 gr. Then I had to raise the temperature to brown the baguettes. Oddly enough, but the baguettes turned out to be soft, fragrant and with a very crispy crust. One baguette was made while still hot. There are three more left. So far three.

Thanks for the recipe! It was not the first time that I baked it, but I did not expose the previous pictures. Delicious, fast, simple !. A little crooked, but I bake in a desktop mini-oven without any bells and whistles (such as convection, stone, etc.) and I have no shape. HP-also no. I knead, shape, everything by hand. On a regular baking sheet, I make dividing boards from foil and bake 3 at a time. So how it comes out!

The baguettes are excellent, with the exception of one thing: the lower part of the baguettes, that is, the one that comes into contact with the baguette, is absolutely not browned. The lower heating element is serviceable. I bake bread, pizza and everything else, the bottom is beautifully browned. Only with a baguette is such a problem. We have to turn the baguettes and blush the lower part. I don't even know what the reason is.

I bake baguettes on a stone or directly on a baking sheet.
