Evgeniya, so the pike is quite flexible. Wouldn't it be possible to twist and tie it (so as not to unwind)? It's just, of course, better to smoke whole, so that it doesn't lose juices. And about the regime ... it's a matter of personal preference. I would smoke on a combined one. Minutes 40 (10 + 30).
If you still have to cut the pike (I cut such a large pike perch), then I put a cup of foil under each piece to collect the juice.Then less time is needed (depending on the size of the pieces).
