Ofeliya, for some time now, too, the cartoon has started to fail - my favorite program "Soup" always turns off after 10 minutes from the start of work .. I think this is a problem in electronics
Rodionchik
Hello girlfriend is me

And this friend, apparently, is crooked, because everything burns in my slow cooker - oatmeal, rice, and meat. And if you pour more water into the rice, you get just a glued lump. In general, nothing works
V-tina
Rodionchik, welcome, tell me how you cook - on what programs, how much do you pour and pour, and have you tried to cook according to our ready-made recipes?
I must say right away that it’s probably not about you, but about the cartoon, since in fact it turns off when it overheats, something can stick to the bottom in some cases, but it’ll burn out
Rodionchik
Thanks so far, I cooked strictly according to the book of recipes from the stler, the oatmeal turns out to be burnt all the time, the rice is generally a sticky lump, each micron from Lisa turned out to be edible, not sticky, but still weird - somehow beaten, as my husband said. And the bottom still burned a little. The millet and rice porridge also burnt, the meat burnt when I made the roast. In general, so far not a single, even simple dish, has turned out.
Rodionchik
I probably put it wrong, does not burn, and fries, sticks. But all the same, it is impossible to eat such porridge when it is fried. So I scrape off the top, and the bottom goes all into the trash heap
V-tina
Rodionchik, I have been preparing porridge for a long time by eye, the ratio of cereal: water for both buckwheat and rice is about 1: 3, 1: 4. I always cook meat in baked goods, it never burned. What program did you use to cook the roast?
V-tina

only oatmeal in milk sticks to me when I try to boil them to a homogeneous state ... on what mode do you cook porridge?
Vei
Quote: V-tina

she cooks with milk porridge
V-tina
Elizabeth, if I cook porridge in milk, then it really sticks to the bottom a little, but it is uncritical, there were never any lumps, at the end of cooking I just mix everything well, and so that it would be straightforward to be thrown out - maybe it's not even a question, really , the problem is in the multicooker itself
vernisag
Maybe it's even wrong with a multicooker. In this cartoon, frying is problematic, but then it burns on programs ... it's strange ...
I just burned on pilaf, cooked pilaf on the rice program. Or maybe it's really a problem in proportions
Rodionchik
Yes, I already think that something is wrong with the multicooker, or with me for oatmeal, I took 1 glass of oatmeal 1 milk and 2 water, or sometimes even more liquid, put on the "milk porridge" program, it always sticks to the bottom ... My oatmeal is English, from England. Basmati rice. It never comes out crumbly. Milk 1.5%. Porridge never ran away.
The roast was made on baked goods, as it is written in the book, this is the best so far. It was difficult to fry the meat until golden brown, but when I closed the lid and put it on the program for 1 hour, after 45 minutes it began to burn. It's good that I decided to check, so it didn't burn much, but it still tasted a little rancid.
In general, I don’t understand what I did wrong.
I just need loose rice - my child loves it very much. And just oatmeal so that it doesn't burn. Until then
Vei

I love liquid porridge, so I cook for myself in the proportion of 1 part of rolled oats for 8 minutes of cooking and 5 parts of liquid (milk plus water in half), and my husband loves medium-thick porridge. Therefore, now I boil 1/4 of the cereal / liquid, and then add milk to my plate. And although in Stadler I don't even remember whether I cooked milk porridge, it was so long ago, I adhere to these proportions regardless of MV or SV, the result is the same.
V-tina
Rodionchik, try to cook cereal porridge: liquid 1: 4, when I boil oatmeal, it also sticks to the bottom, but not critical, I just stir it at the end and leave it to stand for a couple of minutes. Regarding the roast and everything else - I do not cook according to recipes from the book, but baking even 45 minutes is clearly too much for a roast, for 45 minutes I put a kilogram piece of a spatula to bake, and it is baked. I don’t have Basmati at hand to check the proportions, I don’t remember .. but on occasion I measure how many things. in any case, for friable rice I use the program either hard rice or standard rice, if I turn on the soft program, it turns out to be already sticky
vernisag
Oatmeal must be stirred a couple of times during cooking, I cook in proportions, in water 1: 4, 1: 5 in milk. I like the rice in this cartoon 1: 1.5, buckwheat 1: 2.5 (it turns out open, soft) on the program, the rice is soft.
Rodionchik
Thanks, I'll try these proportions
Rodionchik
But to stir, the whole point of the multicooker is lost too. I put on in the morning, while I collect the child for school or in the evening, there is no way to run and interfere. So in a saucepan you can cook in 5 minutes - I did this before before the multicooker appeared. But 5 minutes in the morning is very valuable, so I still try to master the multicooker and make her cook what I need and the way I need
Or I'm thinking of changing the multicooker
In general, in reviews on Yandex, I saw that people write that their programs are mixed up, and that some people also fail. And all the others are OK
Vei
Rodionchik, Lena, oh, I told you that Shteba should be taken
if this is not a defect of a specific CF, then everything will work out in the end, you will get used to it, you will feel its character, what mode is better to cook and how, and you will not spill water with it!
My first Bork was just a test for me - there were zero recipes, zero owners, the company did not support any feedback, and the employees did not know what they were selling at all. And there was also pressure, I had to strain, but then she became my favorite in my huge multipark. The girls will confirm!
V-tina
I just cooked rice in a ratio of 1: 3 on the "standard rice" program, I didn't take a multi-glass, but an ordinary glass, nothing stuck to the bottom, but the rice, of course, was boiled (it didn't become a lump), my men don't respect crumbly porridge. If you need rice that is completely crumbly and airy, then it is better to try according to Ira's proportions
Vei
Quote: V-tina
If you need rice that is completely crumbly and airy, then it is better to try according to Ira's proportions
but for me, according to Irina's proportions (Irish, no offense, the current) is not rice, but a messy porridge. So, as its Japanese-Chinese conceived and eat, it turns out only in proportions of 1/1, maximum 1 / 1.15.
But here it is more a matter of taste, who is used to what and loves.
V-tina
Elizabeth, well, in my opinion, then there should definitely be an even bigger mess, it will turn out 1: 1, or even a little more, nobody will eat at my house, they shout that the rice is raw, I cook rice in such proportions only for salads
in general, the feeling that, in addition to personal preferences, it also depends on the specific instance of the multicooker, well, on the products, so for sure .. we already discussed here somehow - I bake all biscuits on baked goods by default (45 min), while girls put baked goods for an hour
Vei
Quote: V-tina
shout that the rice is raw
no, it's not even solid, absolutely ready. What kind of rice do you take?
V-tina
long-grain family from Ecoline (this is for porridge), for pilaf basmati long-grain Lithuanian like this Multicooker Stadler Form Chef One SFC.909 or if it is not, then from the same ecoline, I also take jasmine or a mixture of rice (but its a problem in my village to buy). The result is of course different, but if you take Ecoline in a ratio of 1: 1.2, then the grain inside is just raw, moreover, in the microwave with the same proportions, the result is excellent
vernisag
I tried to cook both 1: 1 and 1: 1.2, raw rice, undercooked ...

Quote: vernisag

Today I cooked rice with vegetables and mushrooms. On the program, frying fried onions, added carrots, then eggplant, mushrooms, tomatoes and bell peppers, prog. turned it off. In the multicooker bowl I added 1 tbsp washed rice, salt and spices (pepper, vegetable spices, dried garlic, fenugreek), 2 tbsp water and turned on the standard rice program. It turned out spicy and very tasty! Multicooker Stadler Form Chef One SFC.909
Is it a mess here?
V-tina
Irisha, I think, still a lot depends on the products and on the specific multi. I also get 1: 2 like in your photo

I haven't bought parboiled rice for a long time, only round. And for porridge and for pilaf and just for a side dish.
A matter of taste, everyone cooks the way they taste better

It's strange how. Rice I have is Basmati (another's daughter does not recognize it), so I cook it in the stadler by eye, the program is sensory. I pour it straight from the bag and fill it with tap water, pour it for myself and pour it as necessary. Rice is always excellent, grain from grain. My children are already making rice for themselves, they really liked that you can pour, pour as you want (we have multicookers here, so they boast to friends that they can do everything) and always with excellent results

In my opinion, something is wrong with a slow cooker.

I just need loose rice
I have a different slow cooker but the problem was the same!
Basmati must be crumbly. This is Pakistani rice, it should not be approached with Sino-Korean standards.

I recommend soaking it for 20 minutes before cooking. This will help it swell in advance, and then it will cook in a shorter time, without having time to sour.

Here are 2 options (I use the second one):
1. Soak in cold water, then drain the water in a colander and let dry for 10 minutes. After that, pour water over again and cook in a 1: 1.25 ratio.
2. Soak immediately in the multicooker bowl, pouring water in a 1: 1.5 ratio. The water temperature during soaking is 40-50C, for this you can turn on the Heating for 1-2 minutes. Not longer, otherwise it will overheat! I, in another model, turn on the Yogurt program. Leave to soak in a bowl for 20 minutes. Then, without draining, immediately cook on a standard program.
You may need to slightly change the proportions of water for this particular model. But the main thing here is soaking (only for no more than 30 minutes!).

Now the second point, so as not to be "beaten":
when the program is over, do not immediately pick it in the bowl and try to stir it. Yes, it will be a little stuck on the bottom - this is normal (the main thing is not to be fried - then this is already a jamb of a multicooker!). In order to preserve the integrity of the fine grains as much as possible, without stirring, I water it more or less evenly with ~ 50 ml of boiling water from the teapot, close it and leave it for 10 minutes. After that, you can open it, add oil and stir gently, everything will go away from the bottom.
If you plan to leave the rice on the Warm Up, you can add a little more boiling water to keep it dry.

I think a 1: 2 ratio suggests a quieter cooking. In a saucepan, over low heat, it will turn out great. And in a multicooker, a large volume of water lengthens the active cooking phase (the program runs before evaporation) and some varieties of rice are digested.
I'll clarify - I'm writing here about the usual un-steamed Basmati. Steamed - nothing is scary, you can pour water without looking, but we do not eat it.
Vei
Gibus, Tanya, thanks! I don't cook long-grain rice, I'm not very strong in this topic))

Yes, there is a lot of writing about soaking rice before cooking.
My neighbor, she is already 75 years old, says that she always soaks all the cereals before cooking, even for porridge, even for a side dish.
vernisag
Girls, do you need to use the top steamer?
There are online stores that offer discounts at very ridiculous prices.
A multicooker can sometimes be bought from 500 rubles, they are after repair or the case is very shabby or something else, there are different circumstances.
So, having bought such a mulch, which, in general, you can not take away, but take only - a bowl, a double boiler, a measuring cup, a ladle and a cord (it may come in handy, I burned one on the stove) And all this pleasure will cost 500-600- 900 rubles, sometimes it is a little more expensive than 1200 rubles, for example, but there you can pick up the whole cartoon, suddenly it will come in handy ...

Ol, there is a discount in all stores, I bought a lot of yulmart at ridiculous prices.
A bread maker, for example, a new mulinex for 3700 rubles, it costs 15 thousand. To the headquarters a pressure cooker for 2300 rubles, a couple of times used and KP Orson also for three thousand something, a new one, a butterfly for beating was lost.

Girls, for some reason, the time that I exhibit has ceased to be saved. Multi month, everything was fine, plug it in and show the current time. And suddenly something changed: every time you have to set the current time. Moreover, I understand that this is my little hands business. I once canceled something by accident. I don’t understand how to return the previous convenience. Who had it and what to do?
vernisag
Svetlana, you need to change the battery. It is at the bottom of the multicooker, turn the cartoon upside down.
Mandarin
Thank you, how I will change, I will write.
Elenta
I haven't written hello to everyone!
I read all the comments about frying to the bottom, I turn off the cartoon a little in advance, but I still haven't changed the bowl, with a good coating there was no such problem as welding.

I cooked strictly according to the recipe from the book, orange muffin / biscuit - it did not work out (the middle was not baked at all)

I want to make a type of cake in a cartoon, give a hint what and how can I do?

Lately I like to use f. Potatoes and plus a double boiler (haddock and boiled potatoes)

I went to read about the new mulyuyuyuyu

I also often do the shoulder and shank of a turkey in a slow cooker, everything is soft and crusty
But lately I've been cooking my own oatmeal on the stove, which I don't like as dairy. It's not that.
With milk porridge, I make chicken stew. I'll try to put a recipe with pictures on May.

I would like to change some details in the cartoon: the steam pan, the lid and the bowl itself. I wrote to the dealership, they told me that all the details can be changed.
Until I changed the battery, I will try to make a present for my May.

To be honest, I am still not disappointed with the cooking modes, but with baking (I rarely bake) she upsets me: charlotte and orange biscuit did not work out.
Insanely delicious sponge cake only on boiling water, here I stole the recipe (basic) - it turns out great.

Girls, previously saved a link to the bowl to their Stadlik (5 l) and periodically looked at and tracked the price,
the price was 700r, and now it is 399r, for a 4 liter bowl now the price is 299r.
I can't say anything about the quality, I just ordered a bowl, I hope that the quality of the bowl is as great as it was.

Elenta, I have the same thing, I found on the forums that some wiring in the lid is being soldered there. I still get out by disconnecting from the network, adding what I need and turning it on again. our SCs do not undertake to repair it (

V-tina, I cook the simplest things in it, but it was a pity I bought it in December 2014, but it happened in May 2016. However, I cook every day.
