I want to say a big thank you to everyone for sharing your feedback and how to use graters! I read for so many years that they are very sharp and how everybody cuts their fingers from time to time and thought - no-no-no, I don't need such a dangerous thing. And then - well, such are we, girls, fickle - suddenly decided that it was necessary! and even the discount just turned up. Now so happy! And what I was afraid of for so many years ... though I try to cut everything very carefully, only with a fruit holder. The alligator is idle for now

I want to say thank you to Elena alba et atra... A photo of her grater and shredded cabbage prompted me to think that maybe it's not me who is crooked, but something is wrong with the grater. After all, my cabbage on one did not rub at all, the gap was too small. I began to examine the grater literally with a magnifying glass. I saw that in the groove on the frame, where the inserts are inserted, there is a production plastic sag, as in the photo below. The photo is not mine, but the influx is the same, only inside, because of which the insert did not fit well into the groove, as a result, there was practically no gap between the insert and the blade on the unit. A minute of work with a file and a grater now began to chop the cabbage and on one.

Wow, and there is a hole in the old woman Berner has shoals ...
Thank God, infrequent and corrected.
Anna, congratulations!!!

Vredin @, you are well done! I wouldn't have thought of it!
Vredin @
Yeah, I have had this grater for almost a year now, and I also did not think of it, and all year I sincerely believed that I simply did not know how to use this device. And it turned out like this.
But to be honest, Berner upsets me. Or I'm not lucky with him. I ordered Berner's measuring spoons. The edges are not sanded, sharp, torn, you can cut yourself, like with a poorly opened can. You will have to work with a file again. There is also a Berner pepper mill. Also, the quality is not very good, I now have three of them - this is the most disgusting among them.
Now I'm thinking. I ordered all Berner's stuff on Wai *** ze. Maybe they are not selling original products?

Vredin @, Anna, is this a photo of Prima's frame? Chet looked, I have a completely different design on the back, inside.
Vredin @
nila, Nelya, yes, green - a photo from the Internet, here is my Prima (I know, the view is not very good, stains are not washed off white plastic)

Anna, this is a completely different matter, a real Prima! I have exactly the same frame, only green. My Lotion from Germany, just bought back in 12. And then I already thought that now there is a different design.

So I got the same impression. I wanted to order a Berner meat trainer, read the reviews, they write that it comes without any identification marks. Very suspicious.

Is Carly still on sale? At one time I was looking for and did not find something.
on Wildberries saw a set of Trend Rocko and Trend Carly around 1500.
about the multi-box: excellent, just super-excellent a container for washing powder for 6L came up to me from Galamart: Bucket for washing powder, plastic, 6L, P1006
Article: 463-719 issue price 79 rubles. down with the lid and put the grater itself with the fruit holder and all the additional inserts there. knives are separately. dimensions of the container at the top 15x19, below 13x17, height 23. transparent - you can see what to get. and additionally does not create a color spot on the table.
about originality Berner: a letter was enclosed to me with the Trend Ultra kit, saying that they say do not hesitate - this is the original.leaving a review on the WB, I threw a link to Berner's website, and Berner's website sent a gift - a silicone hot plate.
grated cabbage on the thin side without a knife. carrots by 1.6 turned out just as thin. I like 1.6.
Wiki
I just received Rocco's grater and holder from the WB. Everything is packed, with branded labels plus a package insert with information and recipes. Exactly the same as it was when I bought a set of classics in the Berner's branded department.
Vredin @
I didn't buy anything in the company store, so there is nothing to compare with. Yes, the grater came in a large box, rewound with branded tape, everything inside was also packed with dignity, there was a booklet. And the grater itself turned out to be with the brat. Now I ordered Berner's measuring spoons in the same place, all with these edges:

So the suspicion crept in that the site is not original products, but, apparently, I'm just not a good one
Asvatova
And yesterday I took a roco classic and a vegetable peeler on the wb grater. Everything is also in branded packages. I made Korean carrots yesterday. Excellent rubbed, nothing stuck. when washing, the dish brush cleaned everything completely without tension. I hope the sharpness of the grater will remain and everything will be the same) and by the way yesterday I also tried a 10mm grater for potatoes for the first time. I am delighted with how everything is playfully rubbed

Generally a good size! I am carrots, I often sharpen potatoes on it.
E.V.A.75
The girls bought a practice model in Ashan, bought a 10 mm insert for the classics for it, but it is not rigidly fixed, it turns out it does not fit? what's the catch?
E.V.A.75
Asvatova, good day, how did the 10 mm insert get up, tough?
Mona1
E. V. A. 75, and what is this model? Berner's official website doesn't have one. There is a Classic. You bought the insert for the Classics, not for Practice. I know that inserts from Trend to Pro and vice versa are suitable. The rest of the inserts seem to go only to their specific models. If Practice is outwardly a copy of the Classics, then most likely it is someone who decided to bask in Berner's glory. Here is an article under the spoiler - there are several differences between Berner and non-Berner.

🔗

I looked in Yandex and Google in a search engine - on request - Berner Vegetable Cutter, Practice did not drop any links at all.
lady inna
We discussed this "Practice" a couple of times here. Berner produces it specifically for the Auchan chain of stores, which is written about at the office. Berner's website regarding the variety of the Classic lineup:
" Variety of configuration:
"Classic"
"Classic plus"
"Praktika" - a variation of the "Classic" set is produced exclusively for the "Auchan" chain of stores. "

Follow the link below for the full text, which lists all types of trim levels

🔗

Logically, the insert from Classics to Practice should fit.
E. V. A. 75, and what does it mean "not rigidly fixed": crashes or dangles slightly? Interferes with slicing? In my Classic, all inserts of a millimeter go up and down by one and a half, that is, we can also say that they are not rigidly fixed, but this does not affect the work with a grater in any way.
E.V.A.75
Inna, yes, it walks, unlike those that were included in the kit, it does not fly out of course, but I would like a tighter fixation
Asvatova
E. V. A. 75, I have an ultra trend model with WB. the insert is fixed well, tightly

Ugh, I have a Vegetable Cutter Trend (Semyon Semyonich!), These are single in the Classics, but it doesn't matter. I just went to the WB website to look, and that refreshed my memory. But someone here recently was interested in the Curly grater: in WB it is, however, complete with Rocko.

Girls, now on WB Prima Lux for 4800. Expensive, wait for a bigger discount? Or a normal price?

lana light, Svetik, you can, as you wrote, or completely the address, remove it under the spoiler. The main thing is that the link is not active. You can only be active if you refer to posts on the forum.

Can the card data be collected? They want prepayment. And it leads somewhere to such a third-party site ... I do not know ... This site has already flashed here before the new year. The price is very unrealistic. I wouldn't risk it. But maybe someone has already bought from them and will respond

I tried my Rocco Classics, the flight is normal. Nothing gets stuck. That is, it gets stuck a little, but after my artisanal wooden one - it's nothing at all.
Because of this stupid piece of wood, I haven't made Korean carrots for a hundred years, because it was just a mockery, not a grater. What haven't I bought Rocco before, you bastard?
M @ rtochka
Finally, our move was completed, I unpacked my Pro, even allocated a place for her in the corner:
Grater Burner (2)
I have already tried it. The impressions are mixed.
Firstly, of course, beautiful!))) I look at her directly and admire her constantly.
But secondly ... The severity is unusual. After the Trend. He somehow flew in his hands, but here it was so weighty.
And thirdly, it seems to me that at 1.6 she cuts a little wrong. There was exactly a thin straw in the Trend, but here somehow it turns out quite a trifle. Whether it is necessary to adapt
In general, there is nowhere to go, I use it, of course. Let's see how next.
This is how I understand that metal is metal. And I wanted Pro. But while 1.6 mm are confusing. All the time it seems that I press badly, therefore it is thin I start to push harder, but this is not right.
Svetlenki
M @ rtochka, Dash, well, sooooo cool you fit the Pro into the interior of the kitchen! I didn't even expect red to look so cool

Today for 1.6 grated onions into minced meat for meatballs. And I remembered your message. You know, I didn't have a Trend, so I can't say anything. But in this insert 1.6, I just liked to rub only the onion into the minced meat, because it turns out fine enough, but not porridge. This is the only grater in my arsenal that gives this result.

I tried raw beets and carrots at 1.6 - not as for toothless ones it turns out. Width is still nothing, but sooo thin stripes. Rocco produces much nicer julienne shavings
tascha
I would like to share my impressions of the acquired Trend. I must say right away that I have problems with my hands, my fingers do not bend. I make all grasping movements with the index and thumb, the rest only interfere. This does not mean that I am not holding a knife in my hands. I can cut, but not for long, my hand gets tired. Therefore, everywhere and everywhere I look after myself reliable assistants for the kitchen. So, Trend is the best purchase !!! Before the purchase, I doubted for a long time that I could use it, because the fruit holder must be held, and I have problems with this. As a result, I came up with a method: an obligatory container, a grater on it, we pin the container to ourselves and shove the cabbage with both hands, for example, because it is heavy, I cannot grab hold of it with one hand. I can do it in the usual way, but small vegetables. Of the graters, I liked all the inserts, except for the plug (I bought the plug-insert, 10mm and 1.6). From the box in which the frame was, I cut out a box for inserts. So far, maybe I'll buy something else later.Grater Burner (2)

I was flipping through offers on WB ... Virgo, on WB Profi Mega (set of 12 items) - 5325 rubles! Well, my price is highlighted in the "price for you" column.
Anik18
Girls, please show the cabbage on a thin bladeless insert on Trend. The impression was that the minimum thickness of the knifeless insert on the trend is thicker than the minimum on the Prime, has already broken my head, which one to take. I want thin, lacy cabbage.

Eeee ... Also interesting! I still have the orange Classic. Everything was twitching towards the purple Trend, then I realized that the Pro is the same Trend, but in metal. And I haven't tried Prima, but it would be so interesting to hold both in my hands! How to decide something !?
Py. Sy. I am sure that each model has its own fans. And I think - "+" and "-" are also there. Here the taste and color of all markers are different. Prima has 4 slicing thicknesses. The Trend has an add. there are inserts for 1.6 and 10 mm. It seems to me that there should be no cardinal differences.
nila
Alena Besha, you can also buy an additional 10 mm insert from Prima.
And yes, each model has its own fans! As for me - Prima is the best! But I haven't used other Berner's models.
Anik18
But you have to choose)) What is the minimum thickness of the Trend on the bladeless insert? 3.5mm or less?
Mona1

But you have to choose)) What is the minimum thickness of the Trend on the bladeless insert? 3.5mm or less?
Less, of course. 3.5 and 7 is the knife thickness
And the thickness of the knifeless one - well, I don't know, the potato rubs - as for chips, transparent. Well, maybe 1mm thick. Maybe 1.5. But if you rub hard winter cabbage on it, then I rub my hands with salt in a salad anyway. So that it was softer. And so as not to zhamkat - here Carly grater drives. Cabbage, however, not in stripes, but in pieces like it comes out.
I found a photo of the cut on all inserts of the Trend
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=2844.0
In general, the thickness of the cut on any inserts also depends on how much the hostess leans on the grater when rubbing, if the hand is strong and leans more heavily, then it comes out thicker. Here, when I rub and when my husband rubs - the same product on the same insert - these are two small but noticeable differences.
Anik18
Thank you very much! 😘
Crown
Anik18, I never became the owner of this grater, but once conscientiously studied both topics and then decided for myself that if you buy, then it is the Trend, it has more opportunities than other models. I was going to buy a 10 mm insert and a plug, the plug gives one more thickness, which is not included in the kit.

I'm a little off topic, but the thinnest cabbage is obtained on the Giant. There is Berner, but the very first issues, from the 90s of the last century. Now I use the Giant more. And for the cabbage salad, the Giant has no competitors, it seems to me.
marinastom
I also wanted to celebrate the Giant's merits on the cabbage front!
Both Trend and Prima rub about the same on the bladeless inserts.
Either the Trend was my first, but I still love it more, although I now live in Prima's society and company ...
nila
I fully support the previous speakers about cabbage. Ever since I got a Giant grater, and this is almost 4 years, cabbage for salads, and I have never grated cabbage for sourdough on Berner. It's a shame, even, Carly's grater is so cute, but idle. And when I bought Brown, I don’t rub cabbage on the Berner frame for borsch.

That's it, I took away today my long-awaited and long-awaited Profi Mega! The price turned out to be even "tastier" for a set of 12 items

WB, 4757 + delivery to PO.

Very unexpected, of course, because it turned out to be more profitable than the smaller set on Black Friday (and which has not been on sale since this very Black Friday). Honestly, WB is setting some abnormal prices! That "drops" less than 5 tons, then raises up to 8 tons with a penny. (n) Okay, that's not the point.
Very interesting, the site indicates that the sharpening of the blades in the Profi is micro-serrated (with micro-teeth, i.e.). And I'm used to the fact that in the Classic they are smooth. I’ll compare now. And at the same time I will test inserts 1.6 and 10 mm.

Girls, what are you using the 4.5mm insert for? Does it make sense to purchase it additionally to the Trend?
Arnica
For 4.5 tr carrots for pilaf, because 3.5 is too thin, and 7 is large (for me).
But I don't need 1.6, thin threads were obtained, I don't use it. I bought a Roco grater for carrots in Korean.

insert 4.5mm
Maybe I don't understand what ... But for the first time I hear about the 4.5 mm Trend insert! The set includes a 3.5 mm and 7 mm bladeless. In add. set - inserts 1.6 and 10 mm and insert-plug. Usually I cut the onion for frying for 3.5, for 7 - potatoes for the first courses, vegetables for stews. Now I will try new nozzles. The girls highly praised the 10mm insert - they say this is the optimal size for fries. A 1.6 insert is recommended for chopping onions into minced meatballs, for example. That is, not porridge-porridge, but very fine slices.
Then tell the attendance-passwords, where they took at 4.5 mm! Maybe I need it too!

And in dumplings! And into the meatballs. And in cutlets. And also in any place where mashed onion is fuuu what a snotty byaka... There is even no need for numerous transverse cuts on the onion, sometimes one is enough on the outer scales - the cutting of the edges is so thin that it breaks easily when the minced meat is kneaded.

I also cut something on it with pleasure, but I don't remember what.
