Igrig
Good afternoon! Our Classic is also already over twenty, after these long years of intensive use, the sharpness of the knives is probably preserved by 90%! This is very very good!
And I have a question for those who used the Classics, and then switched to Prima +. It is worth it, whether these different thicknesses are needed in cubes, straws and plates. I really bought another Classic for a replacement for the stock (lies packed), but my hands itchy for something more advanced. Tell me please.
About the tray. I've never liked chopping horizontally. Very uncomfortable for me. I do this: I have plastic bowls, 5-6 liters. I put the shredder in them at an angle of 45 degrees, and shred easily and simply. Nothing flies anywhere
julia007
martizeb, Tell me please, in which of the Auchan was bought and if not a secret then for how much?
spring
Igrig, LIKE IN THE PRIMOVSKY COURT IT IS POSSIBLE TO SHUT, LIE THE GRAPE AND UNDER 45 GR, AND HORIZONTALLY, EVERYTHING CONVENIENT, I DIDN'T NOTICE IT'S FLYING.
Igrig
Elena,
But how can I tell you, if you do not chop horizontally, then:
1) after all, a round bowl into which a grater is inserted, whatever one may say, is wider than an oval tray - this is objective, and it doesn't matter when you rub or chop (this fact is more typical for rubbing due to the working movement up and down), which some pieces fly back past the tray or bowl, but due to the fact that the bowl is wider, there are fewer such pieces flying out,
2) well, one of the main advantages of the bowl is the price: within 100 rubles you can buy without any problems, but the tray costs 600-700 rubles,
3) the volume of the tray is also less than the bowls (I'm talking about 5-6 liters bowls), the tray just won't be enough for me, because we usually chop a rather large amount of vegetables.
We had a tray - it disappeared somewhere as unnecessary.
If it is more convenient for someone to chop into a tray - and thank God. After all, all people are different.
martizeb
julia007, in the Ambar. I didn't immediately see your message, sorry. The price, kill, I don’t remember, but definitely inexpensive. There were both classics, and Roco, I just didn't have a Baby, and that's why I bought it, and I'm still fucking with pleasure. Even though I took Mandolin from TW, I wanted it terribly, and like many, put it on the shelf and put Berner back to work. By the way, there are no such graters in Moskovsky and in the Cosmoport in Ashany, but there are many in the Ambar.
martizeb
IgrigPrima, of course, surpasses the Classics in functionality, but, subjectively, it is more cumbersome and confusing. Inserts can be purchased, the thickness is not always noticeable with a difference of 1-1.5 mm. By the way, the classic (trend) is easier to change in terms of plates, in Prima the "button" that must be pressed to change the thickness of the cut sometimes flies out when pressed hard, the plates sometimes "stick" when the thickness is quickly changed. I understand that many will say that it is not necessary to press with frenzy, but you cannot explain to everyone)) In the classics, everything is ingenious and simply turned over and inserted. Best the enemy of the good. And the trend and the prima in my work. And recently, Prima has been on the shelf more often.
P.S.: This is just my subjective opinion.
Igrig
martizeb,
Thank you, your feedback is very valuable to me. Until I had a "firm conviction" about the need for Prima. Rather the opposite. The classics are 100% satisfied.
martizeb
Igrig, I agree with you, I didn't want to dissuade Prima, but to share my user experience. And I agree with you about the pot, I generally got to a clean table top or I rig it on any substrate or on silicate. rug. It's easier.
natushka
When cutting vertically, I began to use an oval "bowl" with a sieve - for washing vegetables, I naturally remove the sieve.I really liked it, it is wide enough and not deep, it is convenient to rub, you don't touch it with your hand and nothing flies anywhere. I bought in Ashan - colors - orange, green, etc., white insert, price 99 rubles, it is possible to hang on the wall.

Girls, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas everyone!
I read and read, I realized that it was time to register
I came to the conclusion that without a Berner grater, kitchen life loses its meaning, albeit with a delay, but I am making a present for the new year (my husband and I have long decided to buy something useful and necessary for the house for the general holidays).
Thank you all for your good advice, I have already made my choice, I will take Trend and almost all other bells and whistles.
On the official website, everything is more expensive, and on Ozone, from where it comes out with cheaper delivery, there is no plug.
In this regard, I ask knowledgeable people to dispel my doubts:
1. Is it possible to "catch" a bladeless plug on Ozone? and then at the office. the Berner website, the minimum order amount is 2500. Either I need to order everything there (well, or for an amount of at least 2500), and the toad, you know, presses
If she happens to be at Ozone, I will catch her there. Because it is this plug, as I understand it, that gives additional thickness when cutting (I am especially interested in cabbage). correct me if you are not right.
2. While taking the Trend (basic set), multibox, 2 transparent boxes for additional. inserts, tray, rösti (pizza grater), add. inserts for 1.6 t 10 mm.
3. I also want a baby grater (which is in an earlier version, it is cheaper, especially since I will hardly use it very often, but let it be for the kit).
And a waffle. I just doubt which version to choose?
4. Did I understand correctly that the inserts from the Pro fit the Trend? That is, can 1.6 and 10 be taken from the Pro if there are no relatives on the Trend?
5. I want to try and then look on ebay for additional. insert at 4.5 - you need to look then from V3, right?
Thanks in advance for the answers.
While I am making my order (the choice in favor of Ozone fell also because the book by Richard Bertine appeared at last), I will study mat. part and wait for advice from you. Thanks for the help!
ps and one more thing: I haven't found the combichipser and combislizer anywhere, are they out of production?
Merri
Nyuta-Manyuta, with registration! Our regiment has arrived!
Nyuta-Manyuta
Thank you!
Ozone basket full ...
it remains to decide on the type of waffle and whether there is any hope of finding a plug in the same place.
inserts 1.6 and 10 put black, from the pros. Am I wrong?
marinastom
For four years of observations, there has never been a plug on Ozone.
The combichipser and combislizer are, by and large, not needed.
julia007
martizeb, Thank you! I’ll go there one of these days, I’ll have a look, I’m going to my aunt in the S / W Ridge.

in Auchan of our city it is sold by the look of a classic. vegetable cutter set - the price is either 1690 or 1660, the classic baby - around 300
martizeb
julia007, not at all)) I am all the food with delight from the Baby Greater, I will probably buy another "reserve"
Nyuta-Manyuta
My package came from Ozone
I will order the rest on Berner's official website a little later.
Today I rubbed only cheese on Big Baby, until I realized that I will continue to train.
She told her husband not to wash in the dishwasher and not to touch it at all

Cool!
Ozone "got rich" on us!
martizeb
Nyuta-Manyuta, and I didn’t like to grate cheese on Baby, only if it’s very hard cheese, soft, it’s still better to grate on a pizza-grater. but vegetables and chocolate ...: But I haven't tried Carly (or Curly?), but let's face it, you have an impressive set)))))
KMASYA
Nyuta-ManyutaSorry for the stupid question please. How did you pay with Ozone? It would be convenient for me from a Sberbank card to a Sberbank card. Asked a question to Ozone, writes while in processing three days already
tana33
KMASYA, you are a legal entity. you will pay to the person, so the transfer to the card is not possible, you can pay from the card through their payment system, you can use bonuses Thank you SB

Girls who ever bought Berner graters in MB. They sell Classics And Proxima.I haven't heard about the latter
Marush
Good day . I'm new here and don't know much, but it seems to me that Proxima is Optima, just renamed. She looked at her the same, it seemed real, all the inscriptions were in place.
kortni
Girls, I'm back to you ... a question arose during use ...
I cannot understand why the holder in Prima does not hold vegetables ...
"pimples" on it do not cling to the product at all.
It is more convenient to start holding with your hands, but towards the end you either need to reduce the speed,
or very carefully before chopping.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong or my holder is not "full"
gala10
Irina, do not worry, I also could not make friends with the fruit holder for a long time, and then (after 2 months) everything began to work out.

For the first time I hear-read about such graters from Burner.
Or am I missing something?
.... found on the internet ... these are old models

And more Proxima
I didn't find one on Berner's website. Therefore, I did not risk it, I bought the Classic in MVideo. I am very satisfied.
Jenealis
why I have Carly idle, bought something on her tyranula and that's all .. Any ideas what to rub on it? More precisely, who rubs what on it? I remember when you rub everything in different directions it flies

Thank you Checkmark! She gave me hope again!
I will train!

I bought the Classics after all. The coupon cost at 1190. I hope we made friends with her.

I rub carrots into soups, where I need large carrots, rub radishes and cucumbers into a salad on it, but I didn't like cabbage from it. I rub the current in one direction, then the rubbed is practically not scattered.
gala10
Quote: Jenealis
who rubs what on it?
Cabbage, especially coarse red cabbage, for salad.
Natali73
Hello, I was grating cucumbers, potatoes and cheese into pizza. It turned out very well, now I always work so hard.
Jenealis
Girls, thanks! Rubbed radishes and cucumbers on the carly, a cool salad came out! Only I still all flew to the sides

I do that too.
natushka
Evgeniya, and I bought a small ellipse basin along the length of the grater, very convenient, nothing flies anywhere now. At the same time, it can be used for washed vegetables, fruits for draining water, a colander is inserted into the basin.
Jenealis
Natalia, can I have a photo? Today I walked around the ocean, twirling different basins in my hands, and I didn't understand which one ..Galina, still flies))) I threw out the trough long ago, it is not very convenient.
Nyuta-Manyuta
Oh girls, hello
sorry for not answering, for a long time did not go into the topic.
About payment on Ozone: I chose And delivery by courier, it was only 200 rubles more expensive if taken from the distribution point. And the form of payment was in the hands of the courier. But if I paid right away, I would also choose a Sberbank card.
If it hangs in processing for a long time, write to the consultant, they will promptly respond. I just consulted about the payment of Sberbank online.

Now about the impressions.
First, the frustration that for some reason I ordered a multibox for a classic (((now I think what to do with it ...
Until I made friends with the main kit, it doesn't work out very well. The cucumber pops out of the holder. But this is probably a matter of practice. Today I will cut potatoes into slices for frying according to Oksana Putan's recipe, here's a workout.
And today I made a salad with red cabbage (I bought it specially), rubbed it on Carly. This is the thing, I tell you! just super! I rubbed on the board, covered everything around with cabbage, but there was no limit to delight.
Now I cook beets, I will probably rub on pizza, do it with cheese, garlic and mayonnaise.
In general, I practice on the sly ...
marinastom
It seems to me that the multibox can be returned, in any case, this question is not difficult to ask in Ozone.
gala10
Nyuta-Manyuta, with a new assistant! With the fruit-bearer is a matter of practice Everything will work out over time.
Rituslya
Devuli, as it turned out, I have a lot of things, but this grater is not and never was.
If you think logically, then she nat me.
I looked at this option:
Vegetable cutter Borner "Classic", with a fruit holder.
Spiral wafer cutter Borner Classic
Borner Baby-Grater
Vegetable cutter pizza grater Borner Classic
Sudok
There is nothing more like Ozone under the classics. Will this set work for the first time?
Or is it better to look at something else?
Taia
A couple of years ago there was a joint venture here in our forum, we bought these graters on the German website of Berner. They did not have the Classic model in the catalog. But there are plenty of them on Russian sites. There was talk that the Classics are being made in Russia.

Thanks for the advice! wrote to Ozone, I will wait for an answer.

Rituslya, Rita, I followed with interest how you chose the kneader, with your character, it seems to me, you need to start with Prima, so as not to bother further.

Lenochka, thanks!
I'm laughing out loud already.
I went to read about Prima.

Girls, all the good time of the day!
I am reporting my impressions.
instead of beets with cheese and garlic, I wanted a herring under a fur coat. I planted it on a pizza grater, although it seemed a bit large, but when I laid it out, I saw that it turned out very nice and fluffy. more visually different, used on a finer grater. the most common tetrahedral, planing, where the largest chips were used. but when I tried it - mmm, delicious! it seemed even tastier than when I did it on a regular grater.
eggs rubbed on a baby grater.
Grater Burner (2)
Grater Burner (2)

carrots turned out to be too much, threw them into the ready-made pea soup.

after buying a vegetable cutter, I understand that I really need an electric dryer ...
avgusta24
Rituslya, Rita, I would also advise you to take it right away. There you can change the thickness of the cut and the handle is much more convenient. I am very happy with mine, I constantly use
Rituslya
Yanochka, Thank you. The second day now I read about Will.
I’ll ask. That is, all inserts and graters on which Prima is indicated are suitable for Prima. For example, Sudok Borner V-Prima
Devouley, is the Borner Baby-Grater suitable? Nothing has been written about Prima, but I would like to. The salad shown above was very impressed.
Devuli, and also to the basic kit, besides the baby greyter, what would be nice to buy?
lemusik
The baby grater is an independent grater, it is not put on the frame, but it is completely on the tray).
Another cool grater karli, on it the cabbage for the salad is a masterpiece, and the carrots in the soup.
By the way, it's good to have a 10 mm insert - french fries, marrow for stew.
Eeee ... the one on which the Korean carrot tinder (I don't remember the name) - in general, all vegetables are juicy for salads - and carrots, and radishes, and an apple - sooo cool! If you rub zucchini on it, then the dough for pancakes is not so liquid))). I want to stir up the potatoes like a thread, all and-no rubbing on this grater))).
