I have both Rocko and Carly. We need both, I will not give up either one or the other.
They are completely different! Each has its own purpose. And each perfectly fulfills its functions. It's like choosing between an arm and a leg - which is more needed?
I must say that, making the first purchase of Berner (a set and separate graters), I decided that I could easily do without Roco (I ordered Carlos right away). As a result, a week after the purchase I went for Roka, I really didn’t have enough for her kitchen happiness.

Do you use Rocco for anything else besides carrots? and Carly besides cabbage?

I will also buy the rest later, if possible. Now I just can't pull everything.

and 1.6 is there an insert?

No. I was not impressed by the pictures with the cut on this insert. There it turns out not so much straw as vegetable rubbish. Sorry owners of 1.6 mm, nothing personal!

Quote: tar-alla

but I think about Carly, except for cabbage, what is it useful for ??

On Carlos, you can cut anything you want (I haven't tried tomatoes and onions yet as unnecessary). Very beautiful pieces are obtained. That is, the conclusion "Carlos only for cabbage" is incorrect. Just for winter Carlos cabbage irreplaceable, no other grater will fluff it up like that, and everything else can be cut somehow on what is in the arsenal. Carrot, daikon, cucumber Very interesting, but the cheese rubs a bit.

And the Roco Trend and Classic graters differ in something other than design? I decide on the order.

I just wrote about Carlos. On Roko I rub carrots with daikon again - it depends on the salad. That is, I can put everything on Carlos, I can on Roco, depending on what result I want to get.

If there is no money for everything at once, do not be upset. Buy what you need now and buy the rest later. For example, winter cabbage will end soon, a young one will appear in April, and Carly will go on vacation until autumn. True, and Roco mostly works for me in the fall too, I prefer spring-summer salads in a larger cut. Take basic kits and some of the individual graters, for which there is money now. Do not strive to buy everything at once, leave yourself the joy for later. I didn't buy Pizza and Bebik right away, I was sure that I didn't need them. I live without them for a year - and it's quite normal. But all the same I will order, so that there is a reason for, albeit petty, but joy. But I would have bought everything at once, now it would be sad that I cannot participate with you in this cute madness SP

Rocko are different. The Trend has improved knives, they do not clog so much. Quite recently they talked about this here. BUT! For some, the Trend is clogged more, for others it is Classic. Personally, I have a Trend, nothing clogs. It is enough to rinse under medium pressure of water - and the knives are pristine. I have never pulled out a carrot from a hole. And the owners of the Classics complained that they had to pick them out with a toothpick.

And Pizza and Bebik differ exclusively in design.

Yesterday I bought a pot for a pressure cooker, I'm glad, I'm waiting for the pressure cooker itself on Saturday.

On what? Roco? That's why I didn't buy it right away, because I was hoping for 3.5 mm. But 3.5 was too much for a carrot. And on Roko, according to my feelings, it is absolutely perfect. Personally, I wouldn't want it thinner or thicker. And what turns out to be 1.6 mm, judging by the pictures, is both thinner and not so smooth / beautiful. Some are thinner, others shorter, and still others somehow. Maybe you can somehow adjust, but ... On Roko, without any tambourines, wonderful strings with a very pleasant section are obtained. What you need!

And who will say what in favor of the prima? I want to take it ...

Tigger, Prima is an excellent grater! We have not discussed the delights of the Trend-set now, but a separate Rocko grater in Trend-design. But the Trend kit is great, just a little simpler than Prima.
tigrra
I understood that you are discussing individual graters. But Tanya wanted to ask you your opinion about the application

Eh, namesake, do not poison the soul! I adore my trend, but I still never stop dreaming about Prim. The trend is a great eagle, and Prima is a dream girl!

That's right! You have to take what you have enough money for. And be sure to leave something for later. Berner has no unnecessary graters. There are absolutely necessary, and there are simply very, very necessary
tar-alla
and to me all the graters seem to be necessary, but my husband will not understand. He already thinks that the set is a trend plus additional inserts plus deco and a plug - all this costs 300 UAH, and says well, wow, you were going to buy for 150 ...

Nothing funny! If you want to enjoy your new assistant later, choose wisely. And for this, you first need to understand the subject. So everything is correct!

As I start to choose something, until you figure it out, and when I choose, decide, buy, then just like I passed the exam. But the Berner exam was the most difficult so far, there is a lot of theory.

Tanya and a powerline grater and a babybik are equally tinder or is there a difference?

Tanya and a powerline grater and a babybik are equally tinder or is there a difference?

If you mean Baby in the Powerline design, then yes, it's the same. If it is important that all the graters are in the same design, then you need to select "by clothes". In my case, compactness is more important, so I ordered in Classic Design. And I will take Pizza in Classic. Unfortunately, in Germany it is not, only because of Pizza you will have to participate in Ukrainian. SP.
LLika
Tan, well, you're a direct Berner consultant today. I already dragged you one thank you

Yes, in the Baby-Classic gift set. I just ordered this one for myself (apart from Prima, alas). If Bebik is needed in the design of Prima or Trend, then you will have to take separately Prima and separately Bebik. And in Trend - Twin Trend, the remains are only in white and in Ukr. (Mona recently bought, with questions to her).
tigrra
Tanyusha thanks for the answers Let there be a classic. the main thing is that one color, although of course you would like the design? Well, what to do with the classic I will take the set so they say cheaper ...

girls, look at this one, please, can it be ordered too? and what is the principle of operation? Does anyone have such a thing?
I saw this in the Flea market heading, I will exchange, sell.
They wrote that they had already played enough, and they want to give it to someone.
Judging by the way the batter is made in it in the commercial, the result is not pasta that is familiar to us, but the favorite by the Germans, tender dumpling type. For spaghetti, the dough is always very steep.

What do you recommend to order a set of kitchen knives?

nila
Here you can see the knives. In the German site, knives are only from the Asia series. If you like any other series, then in the joint venture in Ukraine.
They praised the Ideal series knives, I myself look at them. But now there is no possibility.

Jerrysomewhere in the middle of the page, I downloaded the instructions for using the VIP-4 vegetable cutter (I have one), there is a description of how each accessory cuts or rubs. And the reviews are already in the subject, there are a lot of them
Jerry
LLika, Thank you!

Colleagues, I have decided on the model, I think to buy I will accept it if no one dissuades me, Prima liked the design more, and as I understand it, it is more functional than the Trend, correct if I am mistaken. I read the forum, I even got carried away. Here someone posted a photo of the cubes from Prima, I can't find it, can you show me?
And another question, on Prima, a thin straw, when using a 3.5 knife insert in the position of the cubes, is suitable for Korean carrots or is it better to buy a Roco grater for such cutting?
Piano
Better than Rocko - the shape of the carrots on her is close to ideal.
Jerry
Piano, Thank you! Is it easy to wash Roko, doesn't it clog? Better Rocko Trend?
