Ingredients

Orange 2 pcs
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Honey 100 g
Sugar 1/2 stkn
Salt 1/4 tsp
Soda 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Flour ~ 2 stkn

Cooking method

  • Wash oranges thoroughly. Peel off the peel from one orange.
  • Do not peel the second orange and scald with boiling water. It is advisable that he lie down for 5 minutes in boiling water.
  • Cut the oranges into circles and select the seeds.
  • Put oranges, honey, sugar, salt, vegetable oil in a mixer.
  • Beat everything into a homogeneous gruel.
  • Pour the orange mixture into a large bowl.
  • Add 1 cup flour, baking soda and baking powder. Stir.
  • Gradually add enough flour to make a thick, soft, fluffy dough that easily mixes with a spoon.
  • The amount of flour will depend on the juiciness of the oranges.
  • Cover a baking sheet with baking paper and line the dough in small heaps at a distance from each other.
  • You can spread it using two tablespoons - scoop the dough with one spoon, and remove it on the other
  • baking sheet. Or with the help of a dense polyethylene bag - transfer the dough into a bag, cut off a corner from it and squeeze out the dough in small portions onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake at 180 ~ 200 ° C for about 15 minutes until lightly browned.

I made an orange + lemon, I like pastries with sourness :) On the advice of Irina Kutova from some of her other recipes, I boiled the lemon for 15 minutes in a lot of water so as not to taste bitter. I put honey according to the recipe, replaced sugar by 1/4 tsp. stevia powder. We have a sweet tooth, I wanted to make it sweeter next time :)
