In 37501, baking is not worse at all than in 502. And frying has a higher temperature range. 37501 is more suitable for your tasks.

thanks for the answer!
how difficult it is to choose)))) both are good!
Due to the fact that the 37501 multicooker is discontinued, you better get the new 502 model!
Difference from the previous model (37502):
Instead of the Dough and Simmering modes, the Frying and Manual modes appeared,
the "heating" function can be canceled, the "heating" function up to 24 hours,
the design of the control panel has changed,
new box design,
the time for "Steam cooking" can be set from 1 minute,
the time on the "yogurt" mode can be set from 1 hour,
ceramic non-stick coating of the heating element.

Good evening! I really love baking charlottes, muffins, etc. ... and frying mostly ... which is what I miss so much in MV Panasonic, but I really like how baked goods come out in it ...
in 37501 baked goods on what mode? and no worse than 502 models?

I have both the 502 (bought it first) and the 37501 (bought this on Friday after the announcement of the discontinuation of production). For 502 personally, I definitely need not only a second bowl, but also a lid with a ring, since the smells of borscht with cake cannot interfere. And in 502, these smells do not go anywhere, no matter how much mine or air

I also liked the 502 very much, although I was confused by the smell from the silicone ring (when it was new, there was an unpleasant plastic smell). But when I saw 37501 live !!!!
This cartoon is surprisingly NON-photogenic - in the photographs I did not like it at all, but it turned out to be unusually beautiful, the QUALITY of the performance is ABOVE ALL PRAISES!
NO smell, everything is perfectly done!

Of course, the five-step mode is a VERY valuable and unique feature! But in 502 smells from food are not washed away, and in 37501 there is no such problem.
Together with MV, I immediately bought another cup, since there will be no more of them, perhaps I overpaid (1200r), but at once in one store, without taking out the brain and searching. Yes, add. the bowl is also gold. By the way, I bought the second bowl for 37501 solely for safety reasons, and not because of problems with smells or there as needed ... And the 37501 comes with a plastic lid for the bowl. Not that it sealed hermetically, but still better than nothing.

And what I also like about the 37501 is the built-in clock, that is, there is no need to calculate the time for the snooze timer. Well, the ability to quickly fry everything!

What is not very convenient in 37501 - a large step of temperatures in manual mode, 40-60-80-100-120-150-180 ... And there is no "soup" program. But there are still good automatic programs (porridge does not run away) sensory - super!
So if the dough is not allowed to stand in it, then there is no better one on the market yet ... It is a pity that now it will not be.

To be honest, I would be happy if the MV finally appeared on the market, which fully satisfies all the wishes of users. And this is exactly what the 501st model was supposed to be, thanks to Brand's unique feedback.

If Phillips insolently uses the ready-made developments-developments of Brand, the employees of the latter will, of course, be offended, but the end users will not be left behind (oops ... Phillips will have a different price!)

Can you please tell me whether the preparation of cereals in your CFs is different? When using 502 (since it does not cook until the liquid boils away, but in time), is there any inconvenience in these modes?

Both MVs have sensory programs. The 37501 has Rice and Buckwheat, and the 502 has Krupa Express (Analogue of Buckwheat), Krupa Standard (analogue of Rice) and a separate Plov mode, that is, even one more program.

Milk porridge is cooked according to the same algorithm, and it is equally excellent - no one runs away anywhere.

For me, these mules only complement each other, but if it's quite tough to choose between them, then my subjective choice is 37501!
this is exactly my inner disposition to this MV, plus the programs and shell that suit me. And I also really like the built-in clock (as a result, a convenient delay start), as well as a super-bowl and a pleasant, not very loud sound of notifications.

Mannochka, you, of course, know better, it's just that I understood that way ... although in this case it is not the point ...
and how really? I'm not ready to look in the instructions right now. But both express and buckwheat are hotter and shorter modes ... in my opinion I will not be here
Manna
37501

Rice - 35-45 minutes, up to 105 ° С

Buckwheat - 40-50 minutes, up to 110 ° С
________________________ ___________________
37502

Express - 25-35 minutes, 65-70 ° C (10 minutes), 98 ° C (15 minutes), 105-115 ° C (5 minutes)

Standard - 35-45 minutes, 70 ° C (10 minutes), 99 ° C (20 minutes), 100-115 ° C (10 minutes)

Pilaf - 45-55 minutes, 70-80 ° C (10 minutes), 99 ° C (30 minutes), 100-115 ° C (15 minutes)
________________________ ___________________

So, judging by the time, then "Rice" = "Standard", "Buckwheat" = "Pilaf". And there is no analogue of the Express in 37501.
Vei
Mannochka, thanks for clarifying.
I kind of read the instructions, but everything is by
Yes, and this difference for me is not fundamental)))) I understand with my mind that much in the 502nd is more thoughtful, but I love it, I can’t still 37501!

A 501 model still looms on the horizon?))))
Manna
No, and no more waiting for her. The last batch of 37501 will be in March. So if you were expecting 501, then buy 37501 in March. The brand had to discontinue the 37501 and 6050.

I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth, do not throw slippers at me
I just tried to describe the pros and cons of these two models, which I discovered for myself during the operation of both.

So, 502 or 37501 ...?

Brand 502 is more delicate than the others, but you can fry cutlets, chicken, and meat and even with a crust in it, although deep frying will not work there. You just need to fry in small portions and longer. I don't like these myths that she doesn't fry - it's all complete nonsense!
What is possible or better at 502:
- proofing of dough (any yeast or sourdough)
- kefir (allows temperatures from 25 *)
- sour cream (35 * C)
- porridge (very well-tuned mode, wonderful cereals, in PM and oatmeal)
- bakery products
- there is a soup mode
- 5-step manual mode from 25 to 130g in steps of 5 degrees (you can program absolutely any algorithm of any program, but this is for VERY advanced cooks, I would even say - advanced bakers), but it is quite complicated to set up.
- yogurt with and without boiling (a very convenient option, the milk boils and cools to the required temperature, after which it gives a sound signal to add the leaven)
- 3 automatic groats programs: express for buckwheat, standard for rice and other side dishes and pilaf
- pre-switched off auto-heating
- delayed start in all modes (except Frying, Manual, Warming up)
- bright and well-readable display, my blind granny sees and understands everything
-non-stick ceramic bowl coating
-non-stick ceramic heating element coating, easy to clean
- there is a drip tray for condensate
-removable panel at the lid (easy to clean)
- the bowl can be washed in the PMM
- complex steam release valve, which is nevertheless easy to maintain
-price about 5500 rubles

Disadvantages 502:
- there is no non-volatile memory (and the plug of the wire comes off if you hook it, but maybe this is my one) although it is very annoying, there is not enough space, I cling to it often, everything flies - it's just a disaster! If there were more space, it would not be so critical.
- at first, the silicone O-ring stinks of both platmass and food (an additional removable lid plate is needed), although after a month or two it comes to naught
- the bowl strongly absorbs odors, it seems to me that all ceramics are sinning with this (that is, an additional bowl will be needed, but in any case it is needed to speed up the cooking process)
- there is no built-in clock, and therefore the delay of the start in time must be calculated
-there is no separate mode of the Pasta type, the Steaming mode is used (not critical for this price)
- lack of touch programs
- it is not very convenient to scroll through the temperature and time with one button (it is very long and easy to make a mistake, and then all over again)
- the condensate collector does not work very efficiently
-very (!) squeaks loudly
- the ceramic bowl will lose its non-stick properties after a maximum of six months to a year
- the bowl and the marks inside are black - the markings are not visible (for cooking the right rice this is important, in other cases it is not)
- the display is inconveniently located - you need to bend over so that it is at eye level (((
- not very conveniently configurable Manual mode

Pros of Brand 37501:
-the best quality of all considered (both assembly and plastic)
- non-volatile memory for 7 minutes
-the highest power and temperature from 40 to 180gr
-You can fry and bake anything!
- frying different in temperature depending on the type of product with different temperatures (meat, fish, vegetables!)
-steam cooking also for products with different times of 5-120 minutes (meat, fish, vegetables)
-2 sensory programs (rice and buckwheat)
-kasha (no one will ever run away anywhere, as in 502)
- Yogurt (I distribute the dough on it)
- excellent baking, plus the ability to use Manual mode with a temperature of 150 * C
- delayed start in all main modes
- the most beautiful in design (IMHO) in life 1000 times better than in the photo
- convenient navigation and intuitive menu
- simple, clear and easily customizable Manual Mode
- there is an indication of the cooking stages on touch programs
- very convenient display location, no need to bend over, and nice blue backlight
- pleasant sound (chime) of alerts and when buttons are pressed (it is quiet)
- built-in clock (to delay cooking, you just need to set the time for which the dish should be prepared) this is VERY CONVENIENT
- a stunning bowl with Japanese teflon (safe, reliable, durable, pleasant golden color - everything in it is clearly visible, nothing sticks to it and does not stick, and it will not be even after 2 years!))
- can be washed in PMM,
- removable inner lid plate
- nothing and smells nothing
- you experience constant pleasure from owning it and just looking at it))))
- the price is around 6000 rubles

Cons 37501:
- the temperature step on the manual is -20 degrees (although I would not call it a minus, the smaller step is not so convenient for me)
- there is no soup program (although this is not a problem, soup is cooked in other modes; many manufacturers have linear algorithms for Soup and Stew, which work the same.
-the program Simmering is strange in terms of the algorithm and temperature (from 45-65-85-95-98 *), maybe I'm not familiar with the principle of simmering in the oven ... Many consider this mode to be a fat plus 37501
- there is no separate program for Paste (but this is already an option in a different price category)
- there is no drip tray, but I do not feel inconvenience in this regard, on the contrary, it is more convenient for me
- heating is turned off only after the end of the main program - again, for this price category this is not a minus (and for me it is not critical, I often use heating)
- it is necessary to immediately buy additional components (although not a fact, but it is calmer) due to the fact that these are the last copies - the model has been discontinued (there is already information that consumables will be supplied further)

Vei
I cook with pleasure and absolute joy, mainly in Brand 37501 and Bork, finally I mastered it, appreciated it, made friends. The rest, if necessary, in the wings. Of course, they will always find work - in one soup, in another compote, in the third the second, in the fourth a side dish or yogurt-porridge ... I do not use the stove AT ALL! I have it electric and far from the best, so it is more profitable and more convenient for me to cook in MV.
Manna
Veechka, thanks for the review. Now I will send everyone here

Only I didn't get it. You were comparing these two models ... Why do you have a minus in 502?
Quote: Vei

-there is no separate mode such as Pasta, the Steaming mode is used (not critical for this price)
But also in 37501 there is no such mode. And in his minuses there is no such point

In this mode, it is convenient to cook dishes from still frozen products. First, delicate defrosting takes place, and then cooking. Girls love to simmer chicken in sauces on this mode.

I have this minus indicated there, I just called the regime not Macaroni, but Pasta ...

It's just that I compared these brandies of ours with the Redmond M-90, where such a regime is present, but the price of Redmond is 2 times higher ...

I know, that's why I noted that for many this is a plus, just in my understanding it has little to do with languor. Rather, languor is when it is first brought to a boil, and then languishes at low temperatures ...
Vasilica
My Macaroni mode was on a sooo budget multi (lacuchina), I really miss it. But again, not fatal.

Yes, even in the presence of the Soup (in lacucine) mode, I cooked soups only on stewing.
Manna
Girls, isn't the Steam mode the same?
Vasilica
Well ... almost. On the Pasta (Pasta) mode, the signal calls as soon as the water boils.

So, 502 or 37501 ...?

Good day! Vei, tell me, are the soups in 502 good? (I just read somewhere that the soup does not boil in it and everything turns out raw). And yet ... this comparison is certainly wonderful, but now I'm even more confused. I would very much like to receive advice in this choice. For me, design and manual modes are not that important. I am interested in soups, frying, pastries and cereals. Still straining all sorts of smells in 502 and the end of production 37501 (due to difficulties with the acquisition of consumables). ... and I'll probably go crazy soon .... I just want to be told - Everything, take this ...!
Manna
New, Nobody will tell you whether to take this or that. This can only be done by yourself, it is your choice and your responsibility for it.

I don't have 502. I can only say about 37501. I cook the soup on the "Stew", the frying is excellent, the pastries and cereals are wonderful. Consumables will be in the summer, a large batch. I advise you to immediately buy for the future (if your choice falls on 37501).
RepeShock

And I can say: New, take any
Otherwise, you will never know that cooking in CF is very convenient and tasty. Truth is, the sooner you pick it up, the sooner you learn.

Well, of course, nothing happens raw on Soup at 502, I also read something similar, in my opinion, on another forum - nonsense, even funny somehow, although I did not observe active boiling.
You see, the Brand company does not have SUCH mowing programs in any MV. Each of them has its own pros and cons, but at the same time everything related to the program points is fine-tuned!

If frying, baking and porridge are important to you, take 37501, where there are high temperatures, I have already made chicken fries, but at the same time there are delicate modes, and super porridge, and there are no smells!
If you are generally interested in my personal opinion of what to take, then I will say - 37501!
For me, this is basically an ideal MV in terms of functionality - quality - price

And in addition to it, the pressure cooker 6050, if you like smoked meat or jellied meat, then 6060 (it has a volume of 6 liters - for jellied meat it will be the most)))
Nikasa
About 502: the soups in it are wonderful. I cook all of them on the Soup mode for 1-1.5 hours. In addition to cabbage soup and borscht - they are better at Stewing.
Tatoshenka
Good afternoon girls! Tell me, please, did I understand correctly that there is no 3D heating in 37501, but is there in 502?
I choose between these two models, I am also not sure, I have already re-read all the topics that relate to these models from cover to cover, I was initially inclined, and now I am more inclined to 37501, I read all the test drives, all the comparisons. Of course, if I had the opportunity to buy both ..., I barely talked to my husband for the second one, and if I tell him that because I can't choose, I need to buy both, then, otherwise I still have 6051 like .
Vei
Natasha, for me there is no doubt - definitely 37501, and it has the same 3D heating as the others. To be honest, I consider all these 3D as a marketing slogan, and I do not recommend placing any special expectations on it.
The 37501 has several main and very (IMHO) significant advantages over the 502:
1) the presence of 2 sensor modes (Rice and Buckwheat), 502 have no sensor modes at all!
2) confident frying, as there are high-temperature modes up to 180C
3) built-in clock makes it easy to set delayed start
4) great bowl with a super non-stick Daikin coating (you just have to try it to appreciate it)))
5) simpler and more convenient menu, especially for using manual mode.
6) Simmering mode, very similar in algorithm to slow cookers (in principle, in 502 it is possible to program it manually)

I think that it is not worth taking both 37501 and 502. In my opinion, it is better to take 37501, and then 6051, well, or any other pressure cooker. But 6051 promises to be very interesting and versatile.
yaKachka
Of course, if I had the opportunity to buy both ..., I already barely talked to my husband on the second
Tatoshenka For all the time that I have been reading the forum, I have not seen a single person who would have regretted taking 37501. Definitely, in the middle price range, both in terms of functionality and the quality of the bowl coating, there is no better multicooker!

I also read all the topics related to this multi, but it seems that I always want something new, I thought that the new model collected all the best and added something else very necessary. Guys-Specialists! Here write - "at 501 buckwheat modes, rice sensory - work until the liquid boils, which is very convenient when cooking pasta, potatoes, pilaf." Well, it turns out, in the Cartoon with water / and how much water / you throw dry pasta, and it is already ready for you, and you don't need a colander for figs. Excuse me. maybe she wrote fiction. I just can't believe it. If so. What other units have this mode? I look at everything and it's hard to choose.
RepeShock

Rice, buckwheat, pilaf are cooked just like on the stove. What surprises you?
I will not say anything about pasta, I didn’t cook it in the MV, there was no such need.
Rick
Here and here pasta was cooked on the "Buckwheat" mode. I myself cooked dumplings on "Rice" like this... In the "Testing" topic, I remember, they made a cobweb, but on which program, I don't remember. So yes you can, and it's not fiction
Manna
We are not quite in the subject, but I cook pasta in Manual mode. By the way, in the topic about testing 37501 on the first page there is a link to my answer about cooking pasta in 37501.

Found - four ways to cook pasta... There is also a fifth method - for "Steam" - this is cooking like the usual one on the stove, only the time is counted by the multicooker after the liquid boils, and after - the colander.

Hello!!! Take a newbie into your ranks. Recently I got a Brandik 502 model. Pts. liked the cartoon !!! Many people complain that it has a useless drip-collector - probably the manufacturer has eliminated this problem, everything is working normally, the condensate flows into it, and not around the bowl, and the drip-collector is also very convenient to wash inside, it is wide. The Fry-fry program is normal, stronger and not necessary (well, at least for me) until golden brown, everything is fried easily, And it does not stink anything !!! The first time I boiled it with a lemon and that's it. (no need to offend the 502 model that she is a stinker)
Py. Sy: Mannochka, thanks to you too, for the fact that you once advised me to buy this model, but then it was not released yet and I bought Smile, well, now I have acquired a brandik. There are never too many cartoons (Smileys have sensory programs, so one complements the other)
Many thanks to the manufacturers for such beauty
