I choose and buy equipment quite rarely, since basically it all works for years.
For example, I bought the cheapest moulinex steamer, for 500 rubles at a sale, but at the time of purchase I did not know if I needed it or not. As a result, for 6 years I use it infrequently, I cook crumbly rice and buckwheat in it, tastier like from a double boiler and with the expected result these two cereals were not cooked anywhere else. I tried to cook buckwheat in a slow cooker - not that, I like a little more boiled, I'll try to cook it with more water. But a double boiler for this money is worth it - one plastic handle fell off on a large basket.
I mainly choose the rest of the equipment for quality and reliability. And any new company sometimes causes surprise, sometimes strikes with ambition. I know Panasonic, Supra - undeservedly forgotten by our sellers, Bosch, Brown. Here Mulenex, promoted for years, is somehow unreliable according to the reviews of friends. Tefal is good somewhere in its quality - I have been plowing the Tefalev iron for 8 years, survived the fall. But love did not work out with a teffal grill with a frying pan - I bought one - a day later the covering with a stocking peeled off, gave it for examination, after 3 weeks changed it to a new one, the next day I took it back for examination - again with a stocking, the covering came off. Again 3 weeks of examination and well, it’s a stump, that grill. And now I use pans for 100 rubles from Auchan, the main thing is to have more plastic and silicone spatulas around the stove from playful men's hands.
But HP and MV bought Panasonic, well, I don't like experiments in such delicate things. There are many acquaintances who have HP from different companies, well, they don't get bread, or they get it every third time. And those HP are pushed far away. This doesn't suit me, I fell asleep and forgot, I don't want to watch koloboks, but I'd rather be. I can't say anything about the multicooker yet, I've been using it for less than a week. But about the bowls, I can tell right away, having had experience with Teflon for 24 years - wash only with your hands, do not leave food in it, especially put it in the refrigerator. Such dishes are only for cooking, cooked, shifted, cooled down - washed and forgot about it until the next cooking. And it will serve for a long time.
Sorry for a lot of letters, but it didn't work out otherwise.

Shl. I tried to say this about the quality of trusted brands, if there is an opportunity, then you need to buy good things, and money is just money, how much you paid will be forgotten, and a good thing will serve faithfully. But firms like Cuco and Hotter are generally amazing. What is it, where is it. But ambitions are not in rank. It's like the first Samsung TVs - they could not compete with Sony and Panas in quality, so they put Tetris in the TV so that they could play and not get upset that the TV itself is not ice.

SweetCandy , welcome to the forum

Multicooker polaris HERE you can read, ask questions, decide. As for the brand, not a brand, it's expensive and cheap, so I'll say this - everything breaks down (sometimes), it's enough to go to the first service center that comes across. And about Panasonic Khpechku - recently we witnessed how she baked bread in the subject - bread does not work. (but that is not her merit, there are troubles with weights, they figured it out with joint efforts). So I say ... sometimes it is useful to connect your head to your hands in technology of any price category.

What for? The technique should work by itself, measured according to the recipe and the output should be what is stated in the recipe. That is why she is needed, and not dancing with tambourines koloboks. It should make life easier, not hover the brain. This is what money is paid for. And for the brain to work and hands - this is to less sophisticated devices, such as an oven and stove. This is where you can give your hands space.

For example, a bread machine. Let you have a vaunted Panasonic, let you have a working scale. But the flour is a little different each time than the previous one. Or another batch, or the same batch, but the conditions have changed - more or less humidity. And FSE! With the same recipe, the bread may not be perfect. Because there is a lot or little water. And there is a lot or little of it due to the fact that flour or excess moisture has accumulated (say, from the environment) or, on the contrary, has dried out (for the same reason).
So a head to technology is a must, regardless of the brand of technology

And if that bun at 3 in the morning? So you will sit and wait. It's easier for me on the scales, I don't like to do anything by eye. Why reinvent the wheel when it was already invented before us.
azaza
So if there is not enough water, the bread will turn out to be too dry and dense, it will crumble. In general, it will not be at all the "ride" that you expect. And applicable to the topic of a multicooker (where we are discussing), the same option can work with cereals, with baked goods, with milk porridge - and with anything! In general, no head is bad anyway. She was given to us not only to wear a hairdo.

azaza
But you can cook pure rye figs on the machine even in Panas, even in the state employee. Not a fig will mix. There it is necessary to help with a spatula, and actively.
But something stubbornly drives us to the off-top.
IRR
SweetCandy!, for multicooker when choosing, several points are important - careful stewing (so that it does not gurgle and run away, like abnormal and especially milk), it is good if it baked well. It's great when there is a removable insert cover (you can wash it, it's more convenient). But since an inexpensive polaris does not have this, as well as an expensive Panasonic, then choose simply for the money.

shl. it's still good to know about the quality of the saucepan's coating - well, there are also many questions. Sometimes they write, like the cartoon has been mnu for 3 years and is like new, but they cook it once a week. And sometimes they drive it several times every day - in this version, a sign of a good pot - a year and a half. And you can replace it by purchasing a spare. You can also take care of this now, when choosing.
SweetCandy

I don’t presume to argue about HP - I have a budget stove, I think it is quite good, but I don’t bake bread on the machine (because I bake complex, heavy breads, and therefore manually). And about multi I will subscribe to each Iriskin word. All are good, even the most budget ones! And they don't require dancing around themselves. It only depends on the hostess - whether to dance around the multi or what is more interesting to do. Unless there are worse saucepans, there are better ones. Well, multi differ in some nuances, but budget ones are very good

When I was choosing a multicooker, there were several important points for me - not a saucepan, you can change it, if that happens, namely the technique itself. According to reviews on this website, one has burnt porridge, another has run out of milk, the third has something else. And since I'm a lazy person and I just don't like to wash all sorts of burns, I chose a comfortable technique. From the lower segment, many brands were swept away at once, from the higher one - well, I don't know a single name. Something looks like a bork scam. So there are not so many firms left. And since we needed a small MV, the choice was immediately limited to a couple of three models. I looked at what is on sale in our city - I stopped at Panas. Would have caught Supra in metallic - maybe she looked after her. Looked firsthand at Panas - and bought it.
SweetCandy
Stafa
what is this supra in metallic? I didn't find something like that ...
in our city there is practically no choice ... and I don't really understand the requirements for a cartoon yet ...I only know that I need 4.5-5 liters
We went shopping with my husband today ... two more models interested
and why did you ask let's go
Stafa
So I did not find it in metallic - all white. And I have a kitchen with a living room combined, all the appliances are in sight, and already how everything went in stainless steel and metallic silver, so I don't need white in the interior.
I read the reviews on Yandex for the specified models - and again: it burns, runs away, a complex menu.
So I went and chose - first I looked at the choice in the store, then I looked at the Internet according to reviews. And so until I bought my assistant.
azaza
SweetCandy, by far the best MB in Russia in terms of functionality is Brand 37501 (in my opinion). Redmond is also very good, but Brand's cup is much better. Does not burn, very solid and durable.
If you want a more economical option - Supra 5411 is very suitable for you. Take it - you won't go wrong.

Greetings to all! I am very glad to be on your forum. I faced the problem of choosing a multicooker assistant for myself, so I ask you for help. I have already turned to the multicooker forum, but as they say, one head is good and two is better. I hope you will not refuse.
In order not to print too much, I'll copy my post from there:
Quite recently I learned about the existence of this wonderful unit and realized that it was just vital for me. I am sitting at home with a small child, there is no time to cook. And for those 1.5-2 hours that I have free in the evenings, I try to do a lot. It would be great if my husband met a freshly prepared dinner after work, and not a 3-day soup.
Please advise where to stop your gaze.
I need a multicooker, not a pressure cooker. While I am walking in the evening with my child, let dinner be prepared. Or so that in the morning the porridge is ready for my husband, while my daughters and I are still sleeping.
So, I'm going to cook:
Milk porridge, you put food in the evening, set the time for which it should be ready and sleep peacefully. That is, so that the milk does not run away, does not burn. We sleep, and my well-fed husband leaves for work.
Soups to be cooked while we walk. That is, he threw in the groceries and left the appliance with a calm soul, and not so that first one thing, after 10 minutes another, after 15 third ...
Second courses, mostly stewed. And meat, and vegetables, and cereals. And so that you could, for example, put vegetables in a saucepan, and on top of a stand and steamed cutlets on it ...
Pilaf
Bakery products
Double boiler
I would like these programs to be in automatic mode, and not to play with settings and time setting unnecessarily. It is also desirable, but not necessary, a frying and yogurt mode.
I am ready to experiment with the manual mode in the future, after mastering the automatic ones, because there is no time for this because of the child.
You also need to be able to turn off the automatic heating. It's up to me to decide that this time I need heating, and next time I don't. Removable lid for easier cleaning. The volume is about 5 liters, for 3-4 adults. Nice bowl.I do not know how non-sticks differ from ceramic ones (you can enlighten), but if only the food does not stick, it was easy to wash and just reliable, and not flimsy as in Panasonic. And I also need the sound signal to be quiet after the end of cooking (the child can sleep) unobtrusive or so that it can be turned off altogether.
Please advise which models are worth looking at, except for Panasonic (because of the delicate bowl) and Moulinex (they say they often break). The price is probably up to 5-6 thousand rubles. And I will study the proposed models more closely.
Rina
MsCle, You would put in your profile where you live. Although it can be seen in rubles that in Russia, it is also rather big.

Judging by the fact that the possible price is announced in rubles, you live in the Russian Federation. I clarify because the choice depends on the region - in different countries there are different multicooker.
The Brand 37501 is best suited to your requirements (and price!). Today it is the best MV in the Russian open spaces. It has both wonderful functionality and a great saucepan. There, however, besides other bells and whistles, there is also a manual mode (selection of temperature and cooking time), but you can use it when you master the cartoon. Or you may not use it at all - there are enough built-in programs above the roof. You will have milk porridge at a given time, and baking, and stewing, and frying. By the way, not every CF will provide you with frying. And so that with milk porridge and a high-quality bowl - only Brand.

Hello! Now I looked at the model Brand 37501. In our city they sell a cartoon Kromax MC-77, one to one Brand, which manufacturer is not specified. It's amazing.

girls, but I have such a question ... Are the bowls of 3 liters and 5 liters in diameter very different? I’m already thinking here maybe I don’t need a 5 liter bucket, in principle, in such a large volume, I only cook cabbage soup or borscht ... and that's it

Quote: SweetCandy

Are the 3L and 5L bowls very different in diameter? I'm already thinking here maybe I don't need that bucket for 5 liters
Difference: 22 versus 19 cm. Firstly, 5 liters is good when something "fluffy" is being cooked / stewed: mushrooms, vegetables, etc. First, the saucepan is filled under the lid, and at the end - less than half of the bucket. Secondly, it turns out so tasty that after half an hour less than a quarter of the bucket remains. Thirdly, in the summer it is good to cook compotes, you will not have time to look back how to put a new one. And another important advantage of a large saucepan is that you can cook 2 dishes at the same time! For example: below - porridge, sausages / cutlets in a double boiler, or pasta below, on top of an egg. Saving energy and time
azaza
I would add the following to Wasps' answer: shouldn't you cook cabbage soup / borscht in a slow cooker? Why do you need a little cartoon if you cook cabbage soup / borscht regularly? So that the cartoon can rest while you cook in a regular saucepan on the stove? What's the point? You can't cook more in a small saucepan, if you want to. And in the big one you can cook a little. The difference in the price of devices is usually purely symbolic. And by the way, soups / borscht in MV are much tastier than on the stove. Business, of course, is the master's, but I would take a small cartoon only in addition to the big one.And even better - in addition to two large ones. That would be a super-duper set! Then the stove can be, if not thrown away, then covered with a lid to increase the working surface.

Hello, dear forum users !! All with the coming spring (although you cannot tell by the weather

I have not been able to choose a multicooker for a week, I have never had any experience of using it. I'm confused, maybe you can advise something. I already wanted to take Brand or Redmond, but I came across a lot of reviews about the smell of plastic (I can't stand this) In general, on the points that I want:

1. Volume - so that you can cook liters of 5 soup (well, at least 4.5)
2. In the morning, wake up from the smell of cooked porridge (specifically - oatmeal in milk)
3. Bake good biscuits.
4. Didn't cook too long.
5. A well coated bowl, preferably ceramic.
6. High quality and no smell of plastic
7. Steam cooking.

Please advise a model suitable for these parameters. And then I'm all exhausted

Milk oatmeal will likely run away. To avoid jambs with foamy porridge, buy Brand 37501, and cook the porridge on simmering for 5 hours - it turns out very tasty. Don't be afraid of email bills. en - cartoons pull very little!
A well coated bowl is Brand again.
Biscuits, steaming - almost any cartoon.
You won't get 4.5 l soup. Maximum 4 - a saucepan full to the brim must not be poured.
Smell of plastic? In Brand? Hmm ... Well, if it's in Brand! Then take Cuco. You will have a ceramic saucepan, and porridge, and soups, and biscuits with steam. True, for this you need to part with such a sum

I don’t know, I myself didn’t smell Brand and I didn’t see any multicooker alive))) Maybe I really wanted to order it, because I already wanted to, but I got reviews that it smells like plastic and slowed down. Thanks for the answer!
Elena Bo
Brand doesn't smell plastic. There may be an initial very slight odor of silicone gasket or grease under the heating element. These smells (if they suddenly appear, because many do not) are not transmitted to food and soon disappear.

freshwind, this is what should be the nominal volume of the bowl to fit 4.5-5 liters of soup into it? Those that are nominally 5 liters actually hold 3-3.5 liters. And the Brand satisfies all other points. And about the smell ... In the 37501 model, no one had a smell (as far as I remember), and in the 37502 model, a couple of people got caught joint instances with a smell. True, in 37501 bowls are not with a ceramic coating, but in 37502 - ceramics. About Redmond ... I don't know what model we are talking about, but if it's M4502, then read HERE (in short - the reviews about her bowl are not the most flattering). There are also 5-liter Cromaxes. On the official website, the manufacturer claims that their bowls have a titanium ceramic coating. And outwardly - the twins Brand 37502.

let me put in 5 kopecks. Take the one to which your soul lies and listen to the advice of old-timers (see how many messages under the avatar and how many times they were thanked, their opinion is worth a lot). I am a beginner, but still .... Even in high-quality branded things, it can go when a new thing smells of plastic. Yesterday I was in a household appliances store - looked at the refrigerators, breathed, a nightmare! I really need a big camera. I wanted a pressure cooker first! But I'll be afraid of her! Of course there is protection, electronics and everything is cleverly done. But I have come across stories on the Internet that electric pressure cookers go bang. Somewhere a man wrote, put manti in a pressure cooker-multicooker and she demolished the hood for him. So, of course, you can be afraid of everything, and a brick on the street will hit your head. But nevertheless, I will not feel comfortable in the kitchen, especially since there are three small children at home who stick their noses everywhere, and yes, the pressure cooker is super!
Rosso
Please help me with a choice! We reviewed a bunch of options and settled on Maruchi RW-FZ47 and Brand 37502, but maybe someone else will tell you something ...
I would like to:
1. A bowl with a ceramic coating.

3. The "crust" mode.
4. Choice of product type and cooking time.
5. Cooking at a specified time, delayed start function.
6. Fast cooking function.
Well, I would also like the function of making yogurt
