4 out of 5 filters had to be changed (the membrane, which must be replaced every two years and is in working order)

All the pleasure cost 1,800 rubles, including the cost of filters, installing new ones, flushing the installation, connecting pipes, and so on ... and the work is about 30 minutes.

I show what I saw

The main, first incoming filter, which makes the physical water purification. A thick layer of clay grows so tightly that the stream of water from the tank is thinned to the limit, and may just stop. The same clay can overgrow the connecting tubes, form plugs, then the water also stops flowing into the tank.
This filter needs to be replaced once a quarter, but in terms of the volume of water used, it is enough for about a year.









Other filters in the system are also dirty. It is hardly noticeable in color and appearance, but there is enough dirt. Filters purify water from iron, chlorine, metals, and others.





I use a 5-stage AQUAPHOR filter (five filters).
The quality of water throughout the year is very good, we drink water directly from the special. tap, good taste and no flavoring. There is never a white deposit or scale in the teapot. And in a cup of tea there is never a thin film - the tea is pure and transparent, the taste is also pure.

I confirm 100% !!! We also have reverse osmosis, we have been using it for years !!! Our water in faucet is salty ... so nasty, so they used to wear purchased ones. But, firstly, it is inconvenient .. and, secondly, the water, thus, was stored in a container (not in glass), which I had doubts ... Therefore, now the issue is completely resolved! I cook everything only on purified water and do the seaming too. From the tap - I only use it as a technical one!
Earlier there was "Brita", but it is not suitable for our water (salty), because it clogs up very quickly.

I have been using Aquaphors for many years, various simple models. Hard water, a lot of iron, comes from wells outside the city through old pipes.
Now Aquaphor-Modern. As soon as this company appeared - they cleaned very well, even the simplest nozzle on the tap - there was no scale - though there was a film - the iron was transformed into something. Then, over time, these filters began to clean poorly. Either we started to make cleaning material, or why else. And scale and sediment after 2-3 boiling the kettle. Although it's better than nothing - I can taste the tap water right away, I can't drink it. I "ditched" a coffee machine (though after 6 years of use) - the same one has been working on bottled water for 8 years already.
So far, I use bottles for a new coffee machine. When there will be repairs in the kitchen, I will take an aquaphor with osmosis.

rather softens. Yes. But in spring and autumn, the service life of this module is different. By autumn-winter, as a rule, the water becomes more calcified. Consequently, the load on the module increases, and the replacement is more frequent. I am always guided by the scale in the kettle.

I bought a jug of Aquaphor.
I understood that Osmosis is the best option, but at this stage of my life I wanted something more budgetary. And it is budgetary ... budgetary. But the pitcher exceeded all my timid expectations! Finally, in my kettle, there is no turbidity in the bottom of the pot. The water is crystal clear.

A couple of days later, my daughter (5 years old) started having diarrhea. They were treated with Smecta, Enterofuril, Enterol, Polisorb. And when the pediatrician, seeing that nothing was helping, there was no temperature, suggested hospitalization, I pulled the Aquaphor jug ​​out of the closet, refueled it and ... everything, like in a fairy tale, went away by itself. I suspected water even earlier, but how could the "miracle of modern technology" let us down like that? Father-in-law arrived, took a pill with filtered water in the morning. I spent the rest of the day on the toilet. I'm not writing about my husband and I. I think there are enough details. Kvass behaved interestingly, which lived in my 3-liter jar on the table. She poured well water into it, well, sugar, crackers, added of itself. After adding the filtered water, the fermentation COMPLETELY stopped: the yeast (sourdough) settled to the bottom, clear water in which the swollen crackers float. It all stood in the summer heat for a week, until I threw it away, my daughter was ill, there was no time to study. I bake bread on "eternal leaven", which I have grown according to the recipe on this site. The bread is wonderful, everyone likes it. In the summer I added filtered water and, opachki, the same story as with kvass: everything in it died. As I mixed flour and water, it remained: no bubbles, no pleasant smell. Then I grew it on water from Aquaphor.

The box is beautiful, with a sea turtle, was sealed. There is a sticker with a barcode, it says that we have a model A-550 DIY (A-550E).On the box, in addition to tempting advertisements, it is written that earlier it was the A-560E model. Installed according to the instructions, filled in, merged, in general, did everything right. We don't have tap water, although we live a 20-minute drive from the center of Krasnodar, in the sense that no one has it, there is no down the street. Everyone uses water from wells and filters, or they bring tap water, buy bottled water. The only thing I don’t understand is that how can one and the same water turn into "dead" during reverse osmosis and be the most ordinary water when filtered through Aquaphor? We analyzed the water from the well, the laboratory said that the composition is good, you can drink, but there are a lot of hardness salts. Analysis of the same water after Aquaphor showed that its composition is close to that of tap water. This is what we did before buying the Atoll. To be honest, I don’t want to take water for analysis after reverse osmosis: well, we do not have confidence in it, we cannot drink it. I wrote a lot, but I could not resist when I read the previous posts, where there are positive reviews about this filter. And if they ask me which water filter I recommend, my answer will be Aquaphor. Better to have a little scale in the teapot than to experience if you bought a fake or a genuine "miracle of modern technology".

I can't help but share my impression. For almost a month now I have been anxiously looking into the kettle, waiting for the appearance of scale. But the kettle is clean, not even a hint of sediment. And the kettle for me is a visual indicator of the state of water.
I thought that fussing with the jug would be annoying, but everything goes unnoticed, and the jug somehow found a place in the kitchen itself. the table does not interfere at all. Highly recommend!

It is important what the pressure in the network is, some models do not work at low pressure. It is better to entrust the installation to the masters from the same company, they will check the pressure and advise the model.

Even in such systems, many liters of water are spent on cleaning the membrane, so if the pressure is low, then the membrane is not cleaned, but the flow goes on.

If everything is installed correctly, the cartridges are changed according to the instructions, then everything should work correctly.

And doubts gnaw at me. Such a filter can and well purify city water. In it, the iron is already in the form of rust. And will this filter take my oxidizable?
