And I refrained from a little. I thought that I would strain corn and peas through a slightly open lid. Or does this leaky cap have some other functions?

Drain everything from small containers, you can also have smaller cans (than corn and peas in diameter) - that's all, I didn't think of anything else, but then it was ridiculously worth it - so I bought it

I put tamarind in borscht in winter instead of tomatoes, so it's too lazy to boil it in a separate saucepan. And then it would be a nice thing!
Oh, tell us about tamarind please. I have never used it at all, why boil it separately?
kirch
What is tamarind?
Rita
Tamarind is called the Indian date. The pulp of the fruit is edible. It is used as a spice in both Asian and Latin American cuisines. It is an important ingredient in the popular UK Worcestershire sauce and HP fruit sauce. The pulp of green fruits is very sour in taste and is used in the preparation of spicy dishes. Ripe fruits are sweeter and can be used for making desserts, drinks, snacks.

These are quotes from Wikipedia. I buy dried tamarind fruits, they are very sour. But somehow aromatic and sour. I boil them, it turns out a very sour broth, which I add to borscht instead of tomatoes in winter.

Well, E5 has such a strategy, 1) if you have already bought something, then they send you a personal one on your phone 2) there are general promotions, they have it on their website, the main thing is to look at the promotions first in order to see this code, and then place an order.

What did I see in the net

FatMagnet fat absorber magnet

An irreplaceable helper for cooking. It is used to remove fat from all liquid and semi-liquid dishes: soups, broths, stews.

Before using the device, it is necessary to hold the device in the cold (freezer) for at least 2.5 hours, after which it is enough to touch the surface of the dish and the fat will easily remain on the magnet.

This magnet will become an irreplaceable gift for any housewife, and your food will be less nutritious and more useful. The set includes a stand for the device, which has special ribs for easy removal of frozen fat from the aluminum surface. The model is made of plastic and aluminum.

Size: 110x110x160 mm.

For me, paper tea towels do it easily. And you don't need to freeze or wash anything.

The stuff is really cool. I have been using it not a single year. The main thing is that everything is neatly hidden for the time being, and as needed, it is evenly torn off (foil) and evenly cut (film). On the tube for the film, the cutter is made with a slider, that is, it can be cut from either side of the roll. The only ma-a-a-a-lazy minus is that it is not very convenient to insert foil. But this is only at first, and then I adapted.
Thank you. I realized that I can't do without it!

It is of the same company as the cylindrical knife holders. The enamel is good, without bald spots, it is clear that it is plump, the metal is written in some kind of high-quality vugletsevy (I don’t know in Ukrainian) and thanks to this type it quickly boils, the handle is comfortable, BUT: it turned out at home that when it boils it doesn’t whistle. On the spout, this thing itself is flimsy, and for me it doesn't press well enough when closing. If you press it with your finger, it starts to whistle when boiling, so I wanted to warn you, suddenly someone sees and wants to buy. It's cheap - 99.99 UAH. This, in principle, even if we neglect the whistle, is a normal price. But if the whistle is fundamentally important, then I don't recommend it. Maybe this is specifically for my copy. In the evening I'll call my son and ask if his kettle is whistling. By the way, there were also stands for knives, you can see a lot was brought in, stayed.

Today I got casually in "your house" on m. myakinino and quickly ran there (because I was in a hurry), but still I didn't leave with empty pens!
I bought a couple of silicone spatulas: one is all blue (this color is all) -59r, the second is yellow with a solid metal handle - 89r.
these prices are discounted, and so they are much more expensive.
there is a large selection of silicone spoons, but the prices for them !!!
bought a 1L glass steamer saucepan! I love glass pans and I have more than a dozen of them. but for some reason I saw this for the first time! it has convex stripes on the inner bottom, like on a grill pan, and on the lid inside there are convex dots-pimples! this saucepan (139r) is for some reason cheaper than the same one from the "classic" series (205r). I took it, let it be for a change, I wanted to do something nice for myself!
and I also grabbed a 3L plastic pan for a micra, but it's not useful to me for this. cost only 60 rubles, also for the action, and so it will be more expensive, so let it be picked up, just in case.
here. and most importantly, I grabbed two spare bowls for my favorite multi 37501!

Very, very comfortable
You can also store sugar, nuts, garlic, etc.
At the bottom there is a ceramic, at the top there is a silicone cap, at the back there is a groove for inserting a ceramic spoon for pouring.

If you need tempered glass, then look for a PYREX measuring mug, I have 2 types - a liter and a half-liter - they help out very cool, just convenient for boiling water

I don’t remember, the mug is at home and I’m at work, I don’t use it for free-flowing, only for liquids, of course the liter is often used by me, I bought my first one.
I pozhlobilas for half a liter, then half a year passed and I realized that I want no strength for half a liter, and she still helps me great - she just simply - more precisely!
Because 250 ml in liter actually turns out to be not 250 at all, but 30 ml less on the scale

it turned out that the saucepan does not hold 1 liter, but rather holds about 700 ml, and the remaining 300 ml are included in the lid! interesting measuring principle from this manufacturer!
it seems to me that my other 1-liter pots hold exactly a liter, not 700 ml! my saucepan will be free, I will definitely measure its capacity! curious!
