Ingredients

Cooking method

  • Preparation:
  • Prepare nut crumbs:
  • Grind nuts, sugar, cinnamon until fine crumbs, add flour and chopped butter, mix until coarse crumbs are formed, put in the refrigerator
  • For the test:
  • Beat butter with sugar until a homogeneous light mass is formed, add eggs and sour cream one by one
  • Sift flour with baking powder (baking powder) and add portions together with salt to the dough
  • Cut the apple into thin slices
  • Heat the oven to 175 С
  • Put half of the dough into a detachable form with a diameter of 20 cm, greased with oil, then nut crumbs (set aside 2 tablespoons of nut crumbs), then put the apple slices and pour the remaining dough on top.
  • Place in the oven for 35 minutes, then remove the cake, sprinkle with the remaining nut crumbs and bake until about 20 m
  • I baked in a split mold 26 cm. It turned out not so high, but baked well. I advise you to lay out the form with paper, because the dough is very tender ...

The author has walnuts, I took almonds, there were no others at that time. I didn't have the right amount of sour cream either, and I mixed it about half with homemade yogurt. The dough turned out to be the most tender, and the combination of nuts with cinnamon and apple is very successful. The cake came out very tasty.

Thanks for the recipe! Delicious cupcake. The dough is really very tender. I thought it would be a shortbread, but it is natural cupcake. And this despite the fact that I had homemade sour cream (well, very fatty - I bought it for whipping butter) and I had to put it much less than according to the recipe, and add a little milk. By the way, my dough was not pouring either, but I had to spread it. I took 4 small apples, and I also had freshly cut and chopped coconut pulp. I really respect the combination of coconut-cinnamon-apples! According to your recommendation, I took a form with a diameter of 26 cm. There are a couple of pieces left for today and indeed the cake is even tastier today than yesterday. Cool thing!
