Seafood soup New England clam chowder

Ingredients

seafood (any, better mix) 1 glass
bacon 50 g
potatoes 2 pcs.
bulb onions 1 PC.
carrot 1/2 pcs.
fish broth 3-4 glasses
fat cream 250 ml
flour 2 tbsp. l.
oil sl. 40 g
salt, pepper, parsley taste

Cooking method

  • Dissolve the butter in a preheated saucepan. Add diced onions and carrots. Fry, stirring occasionally, for a couple of minutes.
  • Then add the diced bacon and potatoes (the potatoes are slightly larger than on the Olivier), fry, stirring, for another 2-3 minutes.
  • We fill in the flour, mix well so that there are no lumps.
  • Fill all this joy with hot broth, bring to a boil.
  • We transfer to low heat, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, almost until the potatoes are ready.
  • Open it, pour in the cream, add the already cooked seafood, salt, pepper, add finely chopped parsley.
  • Cover and bring to a boil over low heat.
  • Remove from heat, let it brew for 10 minutes. Done!

This soup is made by my husband, who is a big lover of fish dishes. But no matter what he cooks (and he loves it and knows how), he carefully hides both the recipe and the cooking process from me - it just kicks me out of the kitchen. Therefore, the recipe had to be taken on.
