Good day everyone! I baked my favorite custard cakes again. Every time I analyze the cooking process, and every time it feels like I'm baking for the first time. This time, the custard base turned out to be very dense, even tight. I see the reason only as flour. Handled the situation thanks to the mixer with dough hooks. The rise of the dough also happens in different ways: it runs away, then reluctantly rises. Of course, the reason is in the products, yeast is also different. Since I have experience with different doughs, I begin to feel the dough with my hands, and this is so nice. I always try to bake cakes according to two different recipes to compare the taste, but so far there is nothing better for my family than custard cake. Today I am making Easter cake according to this recipe. I want to say that when brewing, the dough came out very tight. But I did not leave and the rest of the whole was kneaded in a bread maker. Miracle. The dough turned out to be very tasty. I hope the Easter cakes themselves will be great too. Arranged in 4 forms. But after reading the comments that it is necessary to lay down 1/3 in the forms, so I think not to shift it to the 5th form. A little later I will write a comment as I bake.
