Miranda, I have problems with photos. Tomorrow I'll try all the cones, try to describe how they differ.
Prank, Thank you.
It remains to wait for the auger juicer. If something else does not come up with the desired.

A prank, if it does not spin even without a bowl with light pressure, then it is also unlikely to work with a knife.
I think some bushing inside the base has broken, they are plastic, like.
And if the base is turned over and pressed on the middle slightly - it gives in? It, by the way, looks flimsy - if you press it, it will warp - there may be problems. Well, the plastic will probably wear off over time ...

Olga VB
Prank, Hope, I can, of course, but I would like you to be able to do this, so that we have self-service.
For quick editing / appending, you need to click on the "quick edit" icon (Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments) at the bottom of your post.
And if you need to insert a photo or use other special features such as emoticons, spoilers and other things, then it is more convenient to use the "Edit message" button (Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments).
These buttons are available for 3 days after the initial writing.
Practice on your posts above and you will see that it is easy and simple.
If it doesn’t work, ask, I’ll tell you.
And if it will be necessary to edit earlier messages, this is for the moderators.

Please show me the fifth disc that cuts like a wave.

Miranda, finally the nozzle came.

Immediately I decided to try it with the 5th blade (by the way, it is not "numbered").
I tried it on carrots

here's what happened:

this is in comparison with 2mm (carrot on the left and "wave" (?) on the right):

preparation for the start review (just in case)

Prank
I also tried the spiral, the 5th wavy disc seemed dubious, the photos will tell you better.

Used a large, smooth, strong carrot
Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments
this is one strip of the whole carrot, presentable on the photo you can see the amount of "waste", perhaps you need to adjust or some other product. I'll try on potato later

I cut a little, but I also did not understand this cone. Accidentally put it for carrots: neither this nor that. I thought that I did something wrong. Well, I went to the soup fine. Maybe in this case you need to press more loosely, then wavy wide stripes will turn out? I will practice later.
And somehow I was not too impressed with the nozzle. Only rounded vegetables of a small diameter are cut to fit in a lid tube. I didn't find such beets or turnips. I didn't even find small apples. The halves / quarters, as expected, resolutely do not want to be planed, they get stuck, you can't squeeze. And how about cabbage (someone wrote here, it seems)?
Cucumber, potatoes, zucchini, carrots. Is that all?

Since February of this year, I have been cutting with a Gemlux (vertical) spiralizer, using it almost every day (and sometimes several times a day).
Now I got hold of a nozzle for a Kenwood machine, I also liked it (a separate bonus - Kenwood cones / blades ("horns") fit Gemlux).

And there are beets of the appropriate size (I regularly do "in Korean"), and apples (yesterday I bought only 1.5 kg in Auchan / Attack on the pie (it turns out very effectively and tasty)).
Cucumber, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, as well as pears, beets, apples ...

No one has ever cut cabbage on vertical ones (never read / heard about this),
for cutting cabbage / onion / pepper on a spiralizer , buy horizontal.
but, as for me, vertical, especially the nozzle for the kitchen machine, is easier to clean and clean + quickly enough plows.

beets are of the appropriate size
Yes, I understand that there is. Over time, it may be possible to notice and purchase. But in the nearby stores did not happen. 5 varieties of apples, it seems there are medium-sized ones, but they don't fit. Like pears. Considering that I often shop in online stores, then ...
But hemp from broccoli in "noodle" stew got cut.
And there are no complaints about assembly / disassembly / washing / fastening convenience.
Miranda
bangs, Prank, thanks for the photo!
Some kind of incomprehensible blade, to be honest. I don't know if I want him.

How do you like the spiralizer in general?

Great news! So you can put them there and vice versa!

About the size of vegetables. I got my hand to buy small vegetables for a steamer (I cook in a multicooker for a couple) and so that it is normal in the basket and so that the lid closes. That is, a couple of years before the spiralizer began to buy such vegetables. And this is exactly the size that the spiralizer needs. Therefore, I have all, all the vegetables fit, for all the time I only cut the pumpkin.

I liked it, did not regret at all that, perhaps, I duplicated it.

but in general I want to try to compose the reviewer ("in paints" (I have already prepared the photo, according to the instructions))

How do you like the spiralizer in general?
I liked the attachment, but there were more expectations, I don't know why. Already made vegetable spaghetti and potato casserole, sort of. As has been said more than once, this is a great way to introduce more vegetables into the diet, especially for a husband and a child. Until I realized how hard it is to press on the product, what determines the fact that the spiral breaks, the hole is not enough, it is necessary to clean the disc periodically, but this is my fault.
Miranda
Quote: Prank
what determines the fact that the spiral breaks
I don’t know how in the nozzle, but in a separate spiral break depends on two things - stop the motor and then turn it on, and from stop pressing, and then push.

That is, when there is a break in work or pressure. And if you turn it on and press evenly, then 3-5 meters of carrots are guaranteed

And about expectations ... Well, they all came true for me, she is beautiful, I wanted her, and she cuts everything so beautifully and quickly. But I have not read enthusiasm / disappointment on the forum. This type of vertical model, of course, was among the members of the forum, but somehow they wrote little. And here it turns out there are already a bunch of reviews about vertical ones (a nozzle of the same type, just a nozzle) and, perhaps, there are expectations. But I really fell in love with the spiralizer, the vegetables increased in the diet much.

Prank ... Here, according to your feelings, what pressure should be applied to a vegetable such as beets or turnips. to make thin "pasta"? how much is the load on the hands. if you need to chop 6-8 beets?

I still can't decide. whether to buy a separate spiralizer or nozzle. On the one hand, the powerful Kenwood engine is a big plus. but on the other hand, will this not create a large load on the "harvester shoulder", on which we fire this attachment? Here I sketched out what I mean (green is a nozzle, and red is an application of force).

leostrog, do you use a cube? My raw vegetables go well, you don't need to press hard.
Maybe in a spiralizer too. I want him too ...
leostrog
LisaNeAlisa , yes, there is such a nozzle. but I don't use it - I don't like this size. But slicing with thin "pasta" is very attractive to me.

Ol, just purely aesthetically, this is beauty! For example, a radish (if you can cut it there) with fragrant sunflower oil, you can have a little balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, mmmmm .... And also freshly baked bread
Miranda
Olga VB, mine really loved the spiral potato in the oven. The same carrots and beets. Different taste. And beautiful. And they practically did not eat carrots, I went a little where, but now I do not have time to buy.
leostrog
I don't want a spiralizer for reasons of aesthetics - it just doesn't matter to me at all. This is an opportunity to replace the usual high-calorie pasta with kohlrabi and rutabaga pasta. ... beets. carrots. zucchini.
For example, in soups and side dishes - replace potatoes with "rice" from cauliflower or "noodle" from kohlrabi and rutabaga.
that's why the spiralizer lured me so.

It's like with carrots "in Korean": there was a time when it was grated on a regular grater, until a special "for carrots in Korean" was offered, and the way of chopping really affects the taste, as it turned out.
But unlike a conventional grater, even for "Korean carrots", spiralizers grind everything by themselves,
only the pusher needs to be held, and very quickly + unpretentious in maintenance
(that's why I hunted them so much).

In addition, the same zucchini (and not only zucchini), cut on a spiralizer,
during cooking / stewing, they do not fall apart and retain the shape of spaghetti (and do not disintegrate into something incomprehensible and fibrous).

This, in my opinion, is the same as with regular pasta / spaghetti: they are better saturated with sauces and therefore tastier.

Aesthetics is not the last thing.
I'm starting to get into. In principle, the whole past year, vegetables were chopped using a processor. Graters, slices, julienne. Then either in the oven, or simmer, or in a double boiler, or in a frying pan. Plus various sauces (not hot), spices, herbs. It turns out either an independent dish, or a side dish, or a warm salad, or an addition to noodles / rice / bulgur / pearl barley. Fine. But vegetables are cooked at different times. Using a grater for a hard, for something julienne or slices is possible, but tedious and ugly. And here - everything is in spirals, something thinner, something thicker. And then 5-7 minutes of cooking - and a restaurant dish. Moreover, it is possible in the Chinese style, it is possible in Italian, it is possible in your own.
Today even a little eggplant turned out to be cut into noodles. Well, peppers and tomatoes weren't supposed to.While bummer with apples and turnips, which I use. But - we will look for small ones.

Friends, what is that? 😱😱😱 I lived calmly, indifferently read your arguments about comparing a separate spiralizer and a nozzle, questions about their acquisition, etc., but today's answers in the topic made some kind of revolution in my head !!! I have not tried beets yet, although yesterday the carrots were very oak. I'm a little worried about how the keshi sleeve tilts when I use attachments on this nest, a meat grinder, a kubir or a spiral. If it seems to me that I need to press even harder, I hold the nozzle with my left hand in order to align the sleeve, to compensate for the effort, I don't know if I understood what I wrote.
Maybe someday I'll buy a horizontal Bella, but for now I just wanted a nozzle, and not a separate device, I don't want to take it out all the time.

Miranda, would you be so kind as to share the recipe, did it yesterday, but I feel something is wrong, for too long.
igel _el
I share the idea of quickly marinating meat for barbecue (I have steaks today, but the principle is the same)
I cut the onion thinly (you can use the processor, but I cut it with a knife). Added salt / pepper. I beat it off with K-shkoy. The onion gave juice! Added kefir (or other marinators). I mixed it again. I added meat, changed the K-shku for a hook and "kneaded / beat off / massaged".
Done! Bon Appetit!

For about 25 minutes in the oven. I have gas, so much faster.
And I do it exactly like here, only the spices are different every time - I put them on a baking sheet, sprinkle with oil, sprinkle with spices, mix with my hands and in the oven. On a non-stick mat.

igel _el, cool! We must try, thanks!

NatalyaB... and what did not work with the apple and the turnip?
NatalyaB
leostrog, I wrote above: in several stores there were no small ones, such that they entered the nozzle-cap pipe. By the way, I don’t remember quite a small turnip in our country, except for the beginning of the “turnip” season, when it is sold in bundles on the market.

It is possible, in principle. And throw away the leftovers? No, it won't. For the sake of beauty, translating products is not my method. Especially if you need a little. Then, to shave off - is this also some kind of action and time?
In my opinion, it is not interesting.

I ordered the following attachment in M-Video:
Kenwood Food Processor Attachment AW20010006.

I want a KAB930 sieve wipe. I have 0904 with induction, a bowl of 6.7 liters.

I can't understand it or not. The picture looks more like it is KAB922.

Tell me, can anyone buy this already in M-Video?
nu_sya
venera19, Anna, in m-video KAV922. KAV930 is nowhere to be found.
venera19
nu_sya, Anya, thanks for the answer.
Eh, but I wanted 930! Well, I'll take it anyway, they wrote here that it fits with some reservations.
Otherwise, there will be no wiping. Everywhere I was looking, I was discontinued, you see ...

venera19, Anna, that's right, I also took 922 to 9060, they wipe perfectly.
