My height is 158 cm. The height of the table top is standard. Well, yes, the hands are approximately at eye level, a little lower, but this does not bother a bit, the hands do not get tired, they simply do not have time, everything is rubbing / cutting so quickly.

Oh, well, then I was not mistaken. After your question, I looked at the cookie website to see what kind of ice cream they were selling, and I looked like the price had gone up, but I didn't remember exactly what it was.

Yes, for 5 thousand both models.
I looked in installments, but again they did not fix it. The past price hike also hung in the wrong numbers for a long time on the installment page.

So you are well done, you were right in advance.

animegravitation, after a while - of course. The rate will fall - the price will fall. Perhaps it will fall during football, and perhaps by artificial methods, since this is a natural flow of currency from fans and tourists, it is a sin to lift the course and give them a bunch of rubles, let them change more.

But now it is too far to predict even for a month. Therefore, I support belena74... If the purchase was planned, and just happened 1.5-2 months earlier, then this is normal. situation.

belena74, IMHO, the right decision, tk. according to reviews, the thing is not the most convenient.
In addition, it is better not to rush with the choice of attachments if there are at least some doubts.
Personally, I once made a choice for myself in favor of a freezer.
Good luck!

By the way, flattening is a matter of 2 seconds: I slip it under hot tap water, holding the top in a flattened state, and after a second I cool it under cold water. Everything is immediately fixed in this form. There you have to squeeze everything by a centimeter.

I didn't understand where to flatten what ...
Darkusha
Natusichka, I have the same salad bowl as Olga's, the car is KM096, it doesn't fit the bowl 100% perfectly, but it gets up.the fact is that along the upper edge it is wider than the native bowl and, as Olga wrote above, if you do in it, for example, a tight dough, that is, something that requires efforts from the CM, then the shape of the salad bowl is better in the upper parts slightly correct with hot water, giving it the shape of a small ellipse. Then the salad bowl, during operation, with its elongated upper part will catch on the body of the machine and will stand motionless. And if you need to make a loose dough or beat something, then you don't need to do anything with a salad bowl, and so the rules

I am an aspiring pastodel. Maybe the experienced will say something else.
We eat half at once, and the other half, the shorter ones, I carefully remove and put in a container. I leave it without a lid so that it dries up completely, then I close it. I don’t know how long it’s kept, it’s not kept for more than two weeks.

VRad, Valeria, I kept vermicelli and thick pasta on the loggia for about six months. Everything was perfectly preserved, ate like fresh.

I make noodles in reserve, since the eldest son already lives separately, and I have to transfer the blanks. I store it in paper bags on a loggia or in a closet. For six months, of course I don't store it, since my pasta lovers often cook themselves. You can also dry the noodles a little and, when it starts to dry out, twist them into the nests. Only this moment needs to be caught. If fresh twisted, it will stick together, if overexposed, it will break. The nests are very convenient to store and cook in batches.

Like any factory-made pasta, homemade pasta, after drying, is perfectly stored for a very long time.
Personally, I store small items either in paper flour bags or in cereal / cereal cardboard boxes.
I store spaghetti or long noodles, so as not to break, in tetrapakovsky and similar cardboard bags from milk / kefir.

It will work, but it will work for me.
And you can do almost everything as in the native one, except for heating (induction, of course, does not work with it, but the cup itself, at the manufacturer's request, "works" at temperatures up to 96 * C).
If something not too tight gets in the way, then the salad bowl calmly copes with it.
If it is of medium elasticity, then it is better to flatten the upper part a little from the sides to an elliptical shape (it is instantly fixed in this form under hot tap water and just as easily then, if necessary, restores its shape).
If you knead something very elastic, then sometimes you need to hold it. But for the elastic, we have our own cup.
Darkusha, Elena, explained everything correctly, thanks!

But for me, on the contrary, it is short and smallish. Carrots - okay, you can use julienne. But apples in a pie and cucumbers in pickle are fine on a coarse grater for me. And briefly. But they can also be julienne or something else. The main thing is quick and easy.
It's a matter of habit: before Kenwood, I had a Moulinex Fresh Express Cube multi-cutter, it rubbed larger and longer - even such chips, elegant. So I got used to it.

I have a long straw only for pilaf, on a small julienne, when I put carrots in a large pusher with columns across.
And for soup in a narrow and on a "beetroot" grater, it turns out clearly, like on a hand-made one - with short chips.

I recently bought an ice cream maker and then changed KAB956 to AT956 and therefore held both models in my hands (I think the difference is the same with 597). They have a different mount (and diameter) of the bowl itself, in the place where the bottom is screwed into the base on the machine itself.
My bowl (and this is model AT596A) has a base like this picture
(so I can't insert a picture, a link too ... on the m-video site, model AT956A - there is a large bowl visible, unlike KAB where the mount is not visible at all)

and the KAB has a different shape and a smaller radius. That is, the KAB596 model did not screw tightly into the base of the bowl. There, not only the radius is different, but also the shape, this is visually immediately visible, you cannot be mistaken.
You need to look at the shape of your bowl and if it matches as in the picture on the link, then your model is AT597, and if the shape is different then KAB
And the funny thing is that in the booklet that was in the box with my car, in the list of attachments, the model KAB596 was indicated (that's why I ordered it first)
But in the m-video they immediately changed me.

Yes, that's understandable. I'm interested in something else. If you push pasta through a special disc, replacing the grinder grill with it, won't a lot of dough remain on the screw. After all, the special Nozzle for pasta is much shorter. Well, there is a special knife on it.
Although I did not notice that a lot of minced meat remained inside.

Osiga, please share your impressions of the ice cream maker.

And I haven’t tested it yet, I only used a bowl (as an additional one for mixing), so in fact I can’t say anything yet.
It just surprised me that there was almost nothing on the forum about the fact that the Kenwoods have different bowls attachments, despite the fact that there is a lot of different information and really knowledgeable people, I read a lot of useful information here, and with an ice cream maker I got such a surprise. It just turns out that just additional bowls should not be compatible with all models of machines ...
LydiaVera
Comrades, I have a mycardic heart attack! I put the dough on the dumplings, and did my homework with small ones. I didn’t stand above the car, but it was two meters away. I do this constantly, I get a lot of dough, 1200-1300, depending on the size of the eggs. This time the eggs were ostrich, so at the end I added more flour, and as a result weighed it, 1300. I kneaded it at the minimum and one. Well, everything is as usual. The matter was drawing to a close, and then the car began to screech, and my husband flew out of the bath. I turned it off, pulled out the hook, it's like boiling water on top. And the smell went some kind of chemical. Then she turned it on without a nozzle, it seemed to work. And turned it off. And now I sit in horror.

Osiga, there was a conversation about the KAV ice cream maker and the AT ice cream maker, someone had already bought and returned the KAV. But AT, as far as I remember, the comrade did not take away from sin and took another attachment instead. I don’t know if I put it clearly. KAV ice cream makers for some other type of Kenwood, I don't remember which one. And you did not collect at least an empty nozzle, see if everything snaps into place there?
Osiga
AT and KAB are otherwise exactly the same attachments, the only difference is in the design of the bottom of the bowl (fastening). Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of KAB, but AT the car's socket seems to be screwed into the bowl (the bowl has an almost flat bottom, with indentations) And the KAB has a narrow bottom with protrusions on the bowl that screw into the car's socket. Not enough pictures, of course, to explain. Then everything would be clear to everyone, and there would be no problem which model to order.

PS tell me the link to the instructions, how to download the pictures, I can not find. Then I'll show my bowl here (and which is included with the machine, and an ice cream maker), then you can guess by the method of elimination))

there will be no such owners, because these machines and this model of ice cream makers are not compatible. What model of car do you have? It's just that on 9040/9060 there is a protrusion on the casing, which, with the old bowls, without a recess, does not allow the head to snap into place.
I am not special in pictures, but I myself once uploaded through the gallery. That seems to be about it https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=73109.0

Girls, I didn't go to the car yesterday. My nerves did not allow it. The dough is in the refrigerator, I hope to roll it out today.
Here's what I think - probably, the car still did not cope with the test. Although I used to knead it without any problems. If I stood over her, it would be clearer. It seems to me that the hook got stuck in the kolobok, but the motor was running, so the gears howled. And they are plastic, what happened to them, who knows. The car is under warranty, I didn't let my husband get inside. Then I turned it on without attachments, but I don't know how the load will be. And I bought Kesha exactly as a kneader. An ice cream maker, a meat grinder and so on that you can put on it is a nice bonus, the main thing for me was steep and yeast dough. And now I was upset. In the evening I'll turn on some kind of batch, while I'm afraid.

LydiaVerado not worry, I think everything will be fine. KM Kenwood is primarily a household mixer, and then a dough mixer, but a household mixer, that is, with limited dough weight capabilities, and the dough weight is tied to its moisture content. Maximum: 2.5 kg of yeast dough (usually once a year such a need is for cakes) with a moisture content of 64 - 66%, but dumplings dough up to 1 kg. And be sure to divide the batch into two stages - first, mix everything for a minute of speed, then a pause of 15 - 30 minutes and the main batch is the highest speed for ordinary yeast 1, for Italian 2, for dumplings the minimum. The pin of the planetary nozzles heats up the same for me, sometimes very decently (dough for cakes, 50% dough, work at maximum speed), friction, where without heating.
If you need more yeast dough and often, then Convito or Ankarsrum Assistent Original will help you, and for pasta dumplings, household and semi-industrial pasta machines have been created. KM Kenwood - household cars, they can do a lot, but little by little, just right for a family.
LydiaVera

LydiaVera, I will share, with your permission. I have been using it since last autumn, not very often in winter. The bowl, in which there is a frieze inside and in which ice cream is made, is constantly kept in the freezer in an ordinary plastic bag, I put the same inside it that fits, saving space. I make ice cream differently, the amount is the same, up to 1.1 liters. That's about - 500 g of whipped cream + 300 g of condensed milk. Ice cream turns out to be soft, if you need dense, I put it in a container in the freezer for several hours. It tastes excellent, like in childhood, we all really like it. At first, I didn’t like the bowl as a spare, but before Easter it made me very happy, I appreciated it, the work was simplified at times, although the third would not hurt ... The choice is yours - either a nozzle or a frieze.

LydiaVera, I already wrote here that my engine flew to Kenwood 353. But I already took a used old man, and even then, when the planetary mixer was moving, it crunched (most likely the bearings), and then I started screaming like a herd of wounded bison ,,. I ordered an engine for him, dad changed it (there, as he said, there is nothing complicated - one is pulled out, the other is put in place). My dad is meticulous, he disassembled the broken engine, there the bearing crumbled and it is. We must look for the same, they should be on sale, they will collect another one. And when I ordered the engine, I was told that the Kenwoods did not break engines.
