And what did you interfere with the dough - with a knife or for the dough?

Which is for the test! I was critical - otherwise he would have smashed my grated carrots into porridge. And, I must say, it works great with a dough knife. I don't know why some people don't like him. I probably would not knead dumplings with a dough knife, but liquid dough for muffins is very good
Alycha
Thank you - I'll try !!!!!!
Oksana1999
Svetlenki, Sveta, what kind of black pusher? But my truth is 4100. I almost never use a grater, because the leftovers always fly out unused into the bowl, I have to sort out and pull out the unused pieces of vegetables
Alycha
Do you rub with the middle bowl? Or without her? If without it, then yes fly, but if with the average, then no. I have 5200 but not XL so I also don't have a black pusher. It is present only in XL.

Wow, I didn't even think about that) Just big. I'll try it today, thanks!

The average is specially designed for this. Good luck !!!!!

I have the same. I was looking for him in the afternoon with fire, because I did not want XL ... The black pusher is the insert part of the pusher. Pull it out, and the carrot will fit perfectly into the inner cylinder of the pusher

I also perfectly adapted the recipe for squash caviar for Maggi and the recipe for meat and bean sauce for nachos

Oh, well, I don’t know ... I also count the carrots and get the "ass" out of the harvester when I shift the carrots where necessary or report the rest of the ignrias. But it doesn't bother me, because I don't like to rub carrots with my hands at all
Alycha
And I don't have a black one (probably because I have a 200 series)

Oh my Mgimix 5200XL has been working since 2015, bastard from him. I do not know what kind of equipment I had in addition to Citrus press, a set for mashed potatoes, a set for smoothies and a type of baking dish (three times haha, here it is the most pontoless).
Very directly, I highly appreciated the smoothie set - it's a grinding sieve. Abaldet, rubbed raspberries, bones are dry-pre-dry in a couple of seconds. Plus, now I'm dabbling in making Belevskaya marshmallows, which Galya gave, and so the apples after baking were also abaldenly ground.

This is what I wrote everything for, well, to say that HL is also wow, so hard worker (it seems so far).

Irina_Smith, Ira, it's nice to hear that you (can I go to YOU?) Also have magimics. Of course, HL is a hard worker. They changed only the pusher and, accordingly, the hole for it. Everything else is the same, I guess.

Please tell me what you do, what do you most often use?

I get (just had dinner) guacamole in a small bowl, then a blitz of red beans with a trade wind for sautéed minced meat in a large bowl. All this is served with tacos or as qesadiyya. Fast, clean, tasty

set for smoothies

Sounds tempting. I'll go see what it is and if there is one for my model.
Irina_Smith
Hello, well of course on YOU

Magimix 17652 Smoothie Mix Kit for Magimix Food Processors, written to fit Magimix 4200,4200XL, 5200 and 5200XL

I didn't really appreciate it at first, until the mommy managed to bring me 5 kg of raspberries and 3 currants. And then I thought why not try to grind it on this attachment, and it turned out to be incredible beauty, I have not even seen such a dry cake on my juicer.
And of course, I appreciated the most important charm the other day, when in 2 seconds (maybe 3 minutes hehe) I grated 3 kg of baked apples for marshmallow.

So, in general, I use my Magimix as a grater, and for shortcrust pastry (when we use cold butter), and when I want to make almond mass for cakes.
When the question arose which combine to buy, I chose only between Kuzinart and Magimix, and for me it played a rather important role that there is a 30 (!!!!) year warranty for the motor, plus almost all spare parts can be bought on Amazon, plus made in France.
What I miss a bit is the speeds, sometimes I would like to go slower, as for example, I do not use the citrus attachment, because it squeezes out too powerfully and the juice seems to be cloudy. Although I just remembered, I need to get it out again and see if my brain is deceiving me.

When I took it there was a very favorable price for it with all the attachments. Therefore, I am calm about the fact that some nozzle just collects dust in the closet. For example, a nozzle for mashed potatoes, since we do not eat mashed potatoes at all, I have really had it for 4 years already, along with a baking bucket in the cabinet. As the saying goes ... mei bi one day ... hehe
I like to make guacamole with an Ikea puree crusher, it is very convenient for this business, plus there is nothing to wash afterwards.

I hardly ever use the smallest bowl. Since the harvester is in an uncomfortable closet, I take it out when the car is working, and if it's small things, then I have other smaller devices for this. When I have a bigger kitchen, maybe I'll get it more often.

why not try to grind on this attachment

Irina_Smith, IrinaThank you very much for bringing this attachment to my attention.

I have a separate device for smoothies. But I would never have thought that this attachment would make a great puree from berries. Looked at YouTube - yes.

and for shortcrust pastry (when using cold butter)

Oh yeah!!! This is the main reason why I even changed my previous processor to maggi. He's great with chopped sand

Yes, I was also afigela when I saw that you can buy spare parts for the very first model of Majimix of the sixties. And moreover, this model still regularly appears and is sold on ibey as a working one.

I have a magician since 2009. Previously, everything on it and any dough at all, and cut everything, I have almost all the graters that were on sale at that time. With a nozzle that for beating eggs - I mix the biscuit with flour, and I knead the meat on the ham, I'm disgraceful in general. the main knife in a large bowl is a super homogeneous liver pate, squash caviar and the like. Well, the top is all sauces, everything that is finely chopped in a quick way. I used to use a juicer a lot, now I just don't press juice.
Svetik, I liked your pusher, which, with a division for 1 carrot, is probably convenient, I have to put 2 carrots in a jack :)
Irina_Smith
hehe, I found a pusher like Sveta on Amazon, 27 pounds. Hmmmm, I think I also like that you can shove one carrot. I'll probably take it. I will make an upgrade for Magik. Light how? Is it worth it?
Svetlenki

Light how? Is it worth it?

Irina_Smith, Irina, you will have to look at the complete set of bowl-lid-pusher for a simple 5200 (I found out in the service how to make a non-HL out of HL). I know where there is cheaper. By the way, I found this site with Prank, Nadi. In the same place I took my model 4200. Regarding whether it is worth it or not, it was a fundamental moment for me to have a non-HL. I was even ready to overpay more for him than for HL.

Yes, Nagy, without false modesty. Very comfortably. And wash less

Irina_Smith, Ir, tell me more about grinding - is it too dreary to wash the drum after berries? The bones are probably stuck there

Prank
Irina, Do you just have a juicer with such a drum?
that is how it differs from the purédelalka with a smaller loading window and a gray plate?
Alycha
And I have it on the tabletop - so I use it often

same

It is so convenient for me to wash it that I use it with great pleasure. And the fact that nothing from the small and medium bowls ever gets into the big one is generally beyond praise.

I came to tell you about this wonderful attachment for smoothies and juices. For a long time, the topic of processing berries was not closed for me. The fact is that I absolutely do not eat a berry with a bone, that is, raspberries, blackberries, and everything like that passes by us. I have a manual beanie to Gefu, but ... Here the question of my laziness and unwillingness to bother with her already arises.

So, today I decided to cook coolies. I had a mixture of berries from the freezer, which I had previously defrosted. There were blackberries, red currants, black currants, raspberries and strawberries.

To say that I am satisfied is to say nothing! Today my child ate coolies with cottage cheese in a bite, and not cookies There are no bones. Smooth, velvety consistency.

Irina_Smith, Ira, again a huge THANK YOU for telling me about this attachment

Easy to wash. Drum under water with a running hand (side), then slightly wash the inside with a toothbrush.

The only BUT: My maggi was driving across the table. I had to hold on to him. The first time like this. I giggled straight

Irina_Smith, Ira, how do you deal with him? Or you don't want to run away while wiping?
Loksa
Ah, so the sieve is not your FSE, then you are cool now ?! If you put the device on a silicone mat, it should not run on the table. Excellent report, let the nozzle please. That the cake is straight dry?
Svetlenki
Quote: Loksa
That the cake is straight dry

Loksa, Ksyu, good cake. I'm not a very big expert on berry cake, but it seems to me that it is quite dry.

Of course, I will not juice celery and leeks with this attachment. Then you will definitely be killed to wash it from the fibers. But for the berries, that's right. And you do not need to beat first with a blender, and then pass through a sieve. This is all long, dreary and impossible for me on a regular basis. And here it is very emotional

I will lay a rug next time, thanks for the advice
Oksana1999

Svtelana. but tell me please - are there no cube cutters in magimix? I have a disc for fries, but I don't like the size. And I did not find cubes in the internet.
Svetlenki
inspired by the girls' posts on a parallel topic about the Ninja processor, I figured out a lazy salad today in Maji. Not bad at all. A kind of "layer", as the English say. I tore an iceberg coarsely, scooped the avocado out of the halves with a spoon, half a green bell pepper, a couple of medium tomatoes, chop one green onion. Pulse three to four times, depending on the desired cutting size. Dressing - lemon juice, dark olive oil with bitterness, salt, slightly ground coriander. I should have thrown fresh basil there, but I forgot

I came again to tell you about the sieve attachment (for cocktails and smoothies). Today I made coolies from well-defrosted berries. They defrosted in the refrigerator, I started pouring them into the compartment, poured along with the liquid. Well, nothing, I thought ... I was wrong. I pressed the switch, a jerk, this berry juice splashed out from under the lid. It's good that not on clothes, only on the countertop and dishes around. But I will know for the future and you keep in mind. Dry-dry cake from well-defrosted berries.

So I love everything that my Magi does that I decided to broaden my horizons and buy a book written especially for Magimix by the wonderful author of many cookbooks, Marika Hanburi Tenison. The book was published back in 1986, but the recipes are sensible, easy and homely. Written with family budget and nutrition in mind.In general, there is where to draw inspiration

I also liked that there is a photo of dough preparation in the processor, an explanation of when to stop.

Unfortunately, the book is only in English. But suddenly someone will be interested.

I saw that last year I took first place in the German test. Since I am still suffering which one to buy, I thought about Magimix. Does he make minced meat well? Can you make carrot juice in Chita? I read about shortbread dough, it's relevant to me. And the cubes? Suddenly someone has this attachment. Another question about solid, like coffee, you can't use it, right? How does hummus work? In general, one hundred questions.
Svetlenki
Quote: delgrande
Does he make minced meat well?

He makes minced meat rather, and if a little longer - then dumplings. To be honest, I only chopped chicken in it. But for me this is not minced meat as from a meat grinder.

Quote: delgrande
Can you make carrot juice in Chita?

I think not. It is too hard, and the sieve is more suitable for berries or soft juicy fruits (vegetables).

delgrande
Thank you very much for your answer, so I can't decide everything. I have already looked at Bréville, but it has neither a sieve for wiping, nor a juicer, and plus it is not very clear how the shortbread dough comes out in it, for a normal dough and a large volume there is Optimum Bosch. Outright torture is impossible.
UVV
I have Magimix for over 10 years. 5200, not XL.
The set included a native juicer, I make juice from carrots. And made from apples. Often you need to clean out the container from the cake, but it squeezes out well, without foam. Recently made from viburnum. The cake is dry.

I don't mince in it, only in a meat grinder. And chopped chicken breasts for cutlets are instant. But it turns out it is minced meat, the main thing is not to overdo it and stop in time.

What is the difference between the smoothie attachment and the juicer attachment, I did not understand. I bought a smoothie attachment in Germany, the box indicated that it was suitable for my combine, but in fact it turned out to be a model 3200, of a smaller diameter.
I also saw a nozzle for cutting cubes in Germany in a store. But I don't need it. The alligator is also missing.
The harvester is on the table, I use it often. I bought additional disks.
delgrande
Thank you very much for the detailed answer. I'll look again and decide.
Svetlenki
UVV, Yulia, what kind of disks did you buy and liked very much? I did not dare to add additional discs, but I really like the quality of the rub
UVV
Svetlenki,

I bought a julienne disc (I looked specifically at the correct name in the instructions for the combine), cut vegetables into very thin strips. I use it often.
And a disk of fries, cut into cubes. I rarely use it, I didn't have to buy it.
I don't remember if there was a parmesan / chocolate grater in the basic set, if not, then they bought it. She is also very happy. Rub carrots, cheese, celery root in a salad.
The quality of the rub is beyond praise. And rinsing the combine after work is a matter of seconds.

My shoulder blade began to crumble over the years, I need to buy a new one, I don't know where. My harvester has been in service since 2007.
delgrande
Wow, since 2007. It's like my brown. In 1998 I got it not new, and last year a small piece fell off from the lid, which cannot be replaced.
