I found this recipe for chocolate bread on Kenwood's website:

Water 250 ml
Oliya 2 spoons
Zukor 2 spoons
Cocoa powder 1 spoon
Silk 1½ tsp
Flour zvichina 480 g (3 bottles)
Dry active ingredients 2 scoops
Tertiary chocolate ¾ bottles

It differs from the recipe suggested here: water is replaced with milk, there is a lot of yeast (maybe a mistake?) .. oil is not butter, but sunflower - I want to take a chance :)

Tell me, you can put it on the timer, otherwise they write on the site, what is impossible?

I cannot understand something with these cups. When you write a recipe in cups, what do you mean? I have a cup on Panasonic with marks up to 300ml. and you can pour more, to what level to measure? And sifted flour in a cup or not? How good with grams, eh !!!
[/ quote]

cup - means a measuring scale for cups. I have * cup * written on the other side of the glass opposite the milliliters - this is the measuring cup. And there are divisions into a quarter and a half cup. In my opinion, this is the American system for measuring bulk and liquid products, as we used to have a glass. Here.

IMHO yeast is too much. I would have a maximum of 1.5 tsp. took, or even less. Flour is only 480g, but there is no butter ..
CandyIra
The bread is delicious! Thanks for the recipe
IriKa
She baked chocolate bread according to the recipe of the Village Stove, on the "Golden Label" instead of Nesquik. But I didn't add milk powder, so the bread came out completely dark, it is quite possible to mistake it for black. Delicious bread for tea, and even with milk - that's it!
The recipe is wonderful, thanks a lot!
safoo
Is it necessary to add milk powder? It is for what purpose. that is, can you just get by with milk?
Thank you for your reply.

I did not add powdered milk, everything worked out

THANKS so much for the recipe !!!!

The yummy is incredible. The only thing is that the crust is slightly cracked. maybe because I did it without milk powder?

safoo,

I also did it without powdered milk, everything is fine with the crust. So it's not about milk.
Sentyabrinka
Myumla, I also decided to bake according to yours ..... it would be better if I hadn't tried it, it turned out to be a nightmare, I had to throw it out ..... it didn't rise at all like a brick, you can kill the smell of such a nasty beeeee
all the ingredients have long been proven and yeast and flour and other ... I bake often and this is my second failure ...
did you really get a normal bread according to the recipe that you brought ?!

Many thanks to the author for the recipe, the bread is super, so unusual, piquant and at the same time delicate taste - mmm. Yesterday I baked it for a relative's birthday, 1 loaf of chocolate, and one loaf of apple - mmm everyone was delighted !!!! Senk yu !!!
elizobet
Thank you very much for a very tasty recipe, but tell me no one tried to bake it with sourdough, I once baked it was excellent, and the next one did not rise at all, can anyone share a secret, thanks in advance. Delicious bread
koker0208
Many thanks to the author of the recipe for such a delicious bread
iren_adler
Today I baked chocolate bread in French mode. I was a little worried that it would not work, since everyone was using the main mode. The bread turned out just right. Only his roof was blown off. But this is even more interesting.
The taste is delicious!
Elenka
I also bake such bread (on the main program). But the other day I tried to cook cocoa in milk (3 tbsp. L +1 tbsp. Spoon) I cooled and kneaded the dough without powdered milk, and sugar + 3 tbsp. l It turned out sweet and tasty, for my taste better than on Nesquik.
avgusta24
Yesterday I also baked chocolate bread. It turned out - yum-yum Last time I did not have Nesquik and I tried to bake on cocoa with sugar and milk powder. But I did not guess with the flour-liquid ratio. The gingerbread man did not want to form, some pieces were running around the bucket. I topped up the water three times, but the bread still turned out to be "clogged", it went very poorly and was completely unsweetened. But the child asked for chocolate bread and having bought Nesquik I tried to make it strictly according to the recipe. Everyone is delighted! We'll bake for tea.
luchok
I did it strictly according to the recipe, I liked it already when the bun was - at the rate of flour 230ml = 130gr. it turned out to be the perfect bun
The bread was baked awesome, thanks to the author for the recipe, as they say, respect and respect
Flower
There was no milk or cocoa in the house. But there was a bar of dark chocolate and a bag (200 ml) of liquid cream.
I melted this chocolate in this cream, diluted it with water to the required amount and put it into the oven.
Now I'm waiting.
The smell is breathtaking!

Many thanks to the author for the recipe. I baked this bread, with cherry jam, it really was like a cake
And my daughters managed to spread this bread with ketchup and mince it with sausage. They did not wait until the gray bread was baked for dinner. True, I myself did not dare to try the sausage ...
PS "Nesquik" was not there, she spun cocoa powder by eye. Later in Auchan I saw Renaissance cocoa, already with sugar and cream. I bought some chocolate bread for the next portion
Pinuncle
And I put another half-glass of chopped confectionery chocolate or in the store they sell such small (2 cm) chocolate medals.
An acquaintance worked in a pastry shop, when I treated him to him, he was stunned, he says they have such a chocolate biscuit.
Nia
I have the same prescription for LV :)
I baked - everything is just super! Except for one - I didn't have Nesquik. And I just added cocoa.
The result is a fucking delicious UNSWEET chocolate bread.
Ie - if there is no nesvik - to get Sweet Bread I strongly recommend taking a little less cocoa, and more sugar :)

Although I really liked the savory
Now I bake every other time

Chocolate bread with walnuts

Thanks for the recipe! It was even very tasty! I put
230ml - Milk
450gr - Flour (high grade)
75gr - Cocoa (Chocolate)
1h l - salt (cool)
1 st. l. - sugar
1 tbsp. l. (usual not measured, so by eye) - margarine
2h l - Yeast Saf-instant
40g - Nuts (crushed with crush)
I did not put milk powder (my mother said that it was not necessary, she was an experienced baker with me, she baked in an ordinary oven for 20 years).
Baked on 1 (main) program, It turned out the first time, not even dull, the smell is just "crazy to go", barely waited until it was baked! Mine are eating it there while I unsubscribe here! Thank you!!!

Tatunya
I baked some chocolate bread! Delicious
Made several changes.
Replaced 1 cup of wheat flour for 1 cup of Altai Health flour
Nesquik replaced with 100 g of grated milk chocolate
Instead of nuts (there were none, and we don't really like them) I added 1 cup of raisins.
As a result: you need less raisins (not all of them intervened in the dough), but you need to add some liquid.
Thanks for the recipe!
and
Alas, failed
This is my second bread on my newly purchased Panasonic SD 254.
The first one - the egg recipe from the instructions was baked without problems - very tasty! During cooking, I never looked into the stove - I pulled out a ready-made wonderful miracle right away.
But this recipe failed - according to the recipe from the first post, instead of yummy, it turned out burnt on the sides and dull inside - a brick.

Mode "basic" - 4 hours, size "small", medium crust, measure with cups from the set of the bread machine. Why it didn't work out is not clear.
At least it's not about the yeast and flour - they are the same as for the first perfectly successful bread, I measured everything else exactly as a beginner should.

I measured the weight of the cups on an electronic scale, it turned out:
1 tsp - 4 grams of yeast
1 tbsp. l. - 14 grams of sugar

Maybe this is the case? Not enough yeast, sugar, etc., because the contents of a cup in grams do not match your recipe?
k.alena
It's not about the weight of teaspoons and tablespoons (they are included with all HPs and have a standard volume), but the amount of flour. Everyone did it. Flour needs approx. 405 gr. This is my family's favorite bread, and it is baked almost every weekend with an invariably excellent result. By the way, the bun there is not at all classic
star4000
Do not worry! Beginners don't always succeed! Try to bake my recipe, Weigh all the ingredients on a scale. I hope that you still get this wonderful bread. Good luck Young baker !!!

230 ml - Milk
450 g - Flour (premium)
75 g - Cocoa (Chocolate or Nesquik)
1 tsp - salt (coarse)
1 tbsp. l. - sugar
1 tbsp. l. (usual not measured, so by eye) - margarine or butter
2 tsp - Saf-instant or Pakmai yeast
40 g - Nuts (crushed with crush)
Powdered milk did not lay down
Baking for 1 (main) program, Output 750g. bun
All that is indicated in the spoons, lay down on your own, from HP.
Good luck!
avgusta24
The problem seems to be in your measuring cup - its size does not match between Panasonic and LG. Recalculate everything in grams and you will definitely get a delicious. The "ski" cup 230 ml.
Elenka
You can always find a way out. When I bake according to the recipes of other bread makers, I measure in a cup not in grams, but in milliliters (I pour flour to the mark).
After all, almost everyone writes the size of the cup in ml.

Similarly,. The recipe indicated the volume of the cup. The total amount of flour I made was 405 grams.
And at star4000 that's as much as 450. And I take 30 grams of butter. and melt it in milk, that is, still liquid ... The gingerbread man, of course, is watery, but the bread is airy.
irina2105
VERY tasty bread !!! True, it is very dense, finely porous, and I bake it on the longest mode (otherwise it does not rise).
I gave one such bread to the kuma, she now asks me every time: And bring your own chocolate bread))))
Thanks to the author for the recipe !!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!! Excellent bread came out. I would even say - chocolate bun !!!! To the author: flowers: Peklu is delicious several times! And if instead of walnuts - put fried hazelnuts - it's just a fairy tale !! But every time I bake - the top crust bursts and rises slightly, in principle it does not affect the taste - but the desire for the ideal overcomes. Maybe someone knows the reason, or even better - a way to fight !!! HELP, pliiiz ...
tanchik
I bake the same bread, though without nuts (removed because my men don't like them) in fast mode. When you urgently need to prepare something for the crowd of the younger generation, which comes to visit, it helps a lot. Children eat it with cocoa instantly. Mine love it with baked milk.
la_sotte
And I baked according to the recipe "Chocolate bread" from the instructions for the bread maker, but added walnuts. It turned out very tasty for coffee, especially if you spread it with butter.
Recipe for 750g loaf:
Water 250ml
Oil 2 tbsp. l.
Flour 480g
Cocoa 1.5 tbsp l.
Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tsp
Dry yeast 2 tsp
Pieces of chocolate 0.5 cups
Walnut 0.5 cup (slightly shredded)
Bake in Sweet Baking mode.

Thank you very much for the recipe, very tasty bread
though I made a little of my own, because I didn't want to buy a non-quik
Yeast - 2 tsp
Flour - 390 g
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 + 5 tbsp. l.
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
Cocoa - 30 g
Oil drain. - 30 g
Milk - 100 ml
Water - 130 ml
Walnuts + raisins
The gingerbread man was so wonderful, the dough was elastic and the bread was delicious, thanks
supshow
Bake, cool down. The whole kitchen stinks unrealistically of yeast, the bread itself too. This is normal? Yeast put 1 + 3 / 4tbsp, this is for 3 cups of flour (230ml cup).
I'm afraid to try. What do you advise?
This is the first attempt (KhP bought only yesterday), the last time he baked bread (and even then with outside help) already in 1996.

Neither bread nor the kitchen should smell like yeast. It looks like the yeast is of poor quality. Change them out of harm's way.

Used yeast "Saf Moment" in bags of 11g. Bread, as I understand it, you can't eat, right?

Added:
Second try. The yeast is the same, but 1tbsp. The dough did not rise within the time provided for by the program, the program was canceled. I let the dough stand for another hour. Then he baked. The result is an unbearable yeast smell again. The bread smells less, but still smells. I won't use this yeast anymore, I'll try the local one.

In principle, you can, try it, suddenly you like it.

Girls, I've tortured you already, can I have one last question? What can replace milk powder? ran around 3 supermarkets and a Pyaterochka store, powdered milk became extinct ((((
Can't you buy and replace dry cream?
Elenka
Of course it is possible! It will be even tastier! After all, powdered milk is skim, so cream is much better !!!
k.alena
If you want to be as natural as possible, you can replace it with milk formula for older children (they come from birth and further by age). After all, it is not known what this dry cream consists of

Well, you don't have milk powder and don't need it! Feel free to replace it with ordinary drinking milk (absolutely any fat content), so it will be even more natural and, accordingly, healthier!
