Can you try to change this copy in a store where you bought it as low-quality? It's a shame to get such a defect on a new thing.

Girls, tell us how the Master's timer works, pliz.
I looked in the store - the timer is on the lid.
Is it just for sound, or does it somehow automatically turn off the heating?
And then the slow cooker spoiled - you put it on stewing, set the time, and you are free.
I understand that the Master does not have a delayed start - God bless him.
But the Master itself needs to be turned off?

Almost nothing. You set him, for example, 30 minutes, and after this time he will squeak and be silent - the timer does not turn off the pan. This timer is inconvenient for me to use, I put my big and big-eyed one.

The master is simpler in this regard - you need to follow him. Although I stand next to (like with a multicooker) when I need to constantly interfere with something and my presence is required (like a cartoon), and then I went to the timer, if in doubt, I go up and look into the cauldron (as in the cartoon).
The Master does not turn off automatically. But I'm happy with it - a good friend of the Multicooker

Ha ha! Multicooker - girlfriend, Master-pilaf (cauldron) - friend

The owl is very tasty, I will definitely try everything. And today I made chicken in beer. The chicken was cut into portions with salt and pepper, set the mode, start frying, fried on both sides for 5 minutes. I poured it with dark beer and put it on stewing for 25 minutes. In the cauldron, I get ready faster and faster, I like it more and more.

I cook the following in the cartoon:

fry the mushrooms (oyster mushrooms can be used) so that there is no water left, add vegetable oil, add crushed garlic, add finely chopped onions, fry, add white fish chopped into strips (not quite thinly) - you can use sole or sea chicken - add a sea shrimp cocktail, squid and other things to your taste.
Add spices and herbs to taste, salt and mix everything and fry until tender. At the end of readiness, pour in more fatty cream. so that the sauce is thinner and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the cream boils down and thickens.
We spread the finished mixture on boiled pasta, spaghetti, pasta nests, etc.
Sprinkle some fresh herbs on top.

It turns out delicious! You can do it in the Master.

Yes it will turn out, apparently, delicious - Frutti di Mare.

Yes, this electric frying pan is like the Master Pilaf. But its height is only 3 cm, and the total height of the device is 7 cm, that is, it is two times less than the "Master Pilaf". The lid looks like glass, which is not very convenient for this size. And the brazier itself is made of aluminum. In "Master-pilaf" saucepan with a lower disc made of cast iron. And so this electric frying pan is a good device. But if you compare it with our stewpan, then still there are more functions in the "Master Pilaf".

Today I looked live in the store, the conclusion is unambiguous, I will definitely buy it in the very near future, but only in the Internet store, in real life, they asked for a very expensive 4400 rubles.

Yana, thank you very much! Yes, their prices are very good - my neighbor bought a cartoon from them. Now, if I don't buy it over the weekend, I'll shake my Master-pilaf from them.

Dear members (and members) of this thread. Suddenly, a simple and at the same time difficult question arose: how to cook 0.5 kg of rice classically in the "Master-pilaf"? So that it is crumbly.

I am working on a new tasty dish, but I ran into such a problem. What is the ratio of rice to water, cooking mode, etc.?

As soon as I adapt "a new tasty dish" for Master-pilaf, I will immediately post a recipe with a photo here.
Yana
Owl, the chicken turned out beautiful!

I can’t say anything about rice, because I haven’t cooked anything from it in “Master-pilaf” except for pilaf.

Yesterday I decided to experiment and make pork shashlik in our cauldron. That's what I did:

Pilaf master Tefal FR-4013

Fried under the lid in the middle between "frying" and "frying". I placed skewers with kebabs in a saucepan like this:

Pilaf master Tefal FR-4013

The time of frying was not timed, but the meat was fried very quickly.

Owl,
I eat rice at home very often, I cook it in a saucepan on an electric stove, so I think it can be done by analogy in the master pilaf.
for 2 parts of rice - take 3 parts of water. Rice should be washed as usual; it is better to take boiling water for cooking (to make it faster).
First, I put rice with water and turn it on at maximum power so that everything boils, then I close the lid, and
1) I turn on the power as for frying vegetables on my stove (I have it somewhere 3/4 of the power of the comfort, in the master pilaf you know better what mode it will be). It is necessary for the rice to boil well for 3 minutes.
2) after that I transfer the comfort to 1/4 of the power, the rice should gurgle, but not violently. You will probably have something like an extinguishing mode. The rice should bubble for 9 minutes.
3) After that, I turn off the stove and leave the rice for another 12 minutes without touching anything. Do not open the lid, do not interfere. I still have warmth from the stove for some time, I think that the master pilaf does not cool down instantly.
4) open the lid, add salt, oil, mix.

This method is a variation of Pokhlebkin's recipe for an electric stove; it has never let me down. The main thing is to observe the minutes

The only moment that would confuse me is that the bottom of the master pilaf is wide enough, and you will have to take a lot of cereal to "cover" the bottom, so you need a lot of water. In general, no matter how it splashes out during cooking.

Good luck to you!
Owl
Country stove, thank you very much! This is exactly what you need. Thanks again! Now I can swing at an interesting recipe.

Yana, kebabs look such that now there is no need to buy charcoal, go somewhere in nature, install a barbecue, etc. - everything can be done in the kitchen (and the TV is nearby, and hot water).
Yana
Owl, You are absolutely right. If the weather does not allow going out into nature or for some other reason, then the barbecue can be cooked in the "Master-pilaf". Of course, you can roast it in the oven, in the microwave, and in the grill. But then you will be tortured to wash it all. And in "Master-pilaf" you only need to wash the bowl and lid, and if there is a dishwasher, then there are no problems at all.
Anastasia
Well, from today on, I am in your ranks too. I bought it ... Now I will master it. For now, I will train on recipes from this topic, and then we'll see. I wonder if a biscuit or a pie can be baked in it, as in a slow cooker by accident?
Tanyusha
Anastasia, congratulations on your purchase, there is a replenishment in our ranks. At the expense of the biscuit and pie, I thought the same thing, but I think not, because the cauldron has a very high power compared to the cartoon. You can only fry pies in oil.
Tanyusha
On Sunday I made chicken breasts in dough in a cauldron. I liked it quickly and the breasts were not dry, but juicy.
Tanyusha
Anastasia, for the first time, I also didn’t get used to it, and my pilaf burned a little, but now everything is fine. The dough for the breasts was done by eye for 1 egg, 150 ml of light beer, salt, and flour as for pancake dough. Beat off the breast fillet with a little salt, dip the pepper in the dough and in the cauldron on the frying mode.
Anastasia
Tanya, thank you very much. I'll try to do it. I've never done anything in beer batter.
KEKSIK
Hello everybody!!! Take in your ranks. Thanks to this heading, I bought very well - very scrupulously and I want to help more new buyers of this technique:
1 Thanks for the advice, who recommended checking the power button - it's really worth it, it's very flimsy
2 I checked the teflon coating inside the cauldron - there is no top quality, but unfortunately the coating is not superb in the store
3 Please pay attention to the timer: the specialist who brought me when they checked the work of the Master Pilaf connected the timer upside down. Then it turned out that it could not be rearranged, although according to the instructions, the lid can be washed in the dishwasher.
Unfortunately, I was not used to when something was not so connected and began to independently dig out this timer. It is a pity that he did not really want to break away. As a result: the timer consisted of two parts (a case and a microcircuit).
I have set the timer, but try not to repeat my mistake. It turns out that there is a bolt inside the lid that you can unscrew and push the timer off the lid, but I already understood this later, when I saw what the timer consists of
After all this procedure, Master-pilaf is still standing. After all, part of the weekend was spent on recovery.
Thanks to everyone for the recipes, everything looks very tasty and I really want to cook, but for now I'm waiting for the weekend
Yana
KEKSIK, congratulations on your purchase!
It's a shame that you did not work out with the timer. But this is probably out of habit. Usually there is no problem with the timer at all. It can be inserted and removed freely. My timer is used as needed, I store it separately, if necessary, I insert it into the lid and take it out before washing. While the device is new to you, it is difficult to immediately adapt to it. Over time, I think you will master the "Master Pilaf" and you will surprise us with new recipes.
KEKSIK
Thank you, Yana.
After fixing the timer, I am afraid to touch it.
But I don’t understand if you can take out the timer freely, or can it be removed only by unscrewing the bolt?
Suzy

Don't worry and leave him alone. It does not affect the cooking process in any way. I use my regular timer. There would be a timer or an ordinary clock - and that's it, but there is no difference in how to observe the time.

My timer comes in and out with light effort, that is, almost freely, the bolt has never been unscrewed. Apparently, an employee of the online store drove it into the handle of the lid without calculating his strength, and the buyer had to pick out this long-suffering timer for half a day. KEKSIK, insert the timer without driving it into the depths, then it can be easily removed.

Now, after the 8th of March, the prices for "Master Pilaf" have dropped slightly. I bought at the beginning of this year for 3,500 rubles. So the price is normal, but it's up to you where to buy. You probably also need to take into account the delivery in the Moscow region. Which online store is cheaper, take it there.

Dear Pilaf Master !!! So glad I came across the forum !!! I bought the stove last week, but I did not understand how to use it from the pictures. And suddenly such good luck. One thing But I don’t understand at all whether it is necessary to close the lid all the time or to cook everything as in ordinary dishes? (I understand a stupid question, but sometimes the little things do not give rest)

I close the Lota lid, and when I need to interfere or turn it over, I naturally open it.
Tanyusha
I here on the Internet downloaded recipes from chicken, turkey and pork, I think they will be suitable for a cauldron, as I try to write right away.

As you wish. You just need to "adjust", as to any saucepan, slow cooker, etc.
There can be many different situations. When to open the lid, when to cook when closed, when to move and how much the temperature dial, etc.
It all depends on what you are going to cook and in what way, and they can be combined.
Watch the cooking process and you will understand.

So I bought the Master Pilaf. Everything turned out to be much simpler. I didn't have to go to Moscow. I ordered it here: It costs only 2969.
There is a branch of this store in Dubna. True, they do not give guarantees. You need to go to the service center.

"Master-pilaf" is technically not a very complicated device, there only heating can fail. But let's hope that this does not happen and the service center does not have to be used.

I haven’t used it yet, but it’s like a normal deep fryer you pour oil, put down the basket and do whatever you want. In Master-pilaf I made pasties from choux pastry and stuffed chicken breasts and baked them, and if I used to fry them in two pans, now I have everything in Master-pilaf because I have 6 people in my family. I am very happy with it.
