Hello.
Here I want an iRobot Roomba 620, the apartment is not large, 30 sq. M. Without thresholds and steps, will it be enough, or choose something else, is there Samsung, or something else? Just with money in the butt, and here the price for it is quite suitable. So I decide whether I need it or not? Well, more precisely, I decided a long time ago, it remains to decide on the model

(funeral march sounds)
I buried my Rumbik over the weekend ...
At first, the brushes began to spin badly, they took it to the repair, it was cleaned, and ... the red button 9 signals. There is no such thing in the passport. But there are 8 signals and 10 signals. Since both 8 and 10 are associated with the bumper, then 9 signals are probably the same. My daughter and I did not understand where there was a bumper and again took it to the repair in search of a bumper. They found the bumper and cleaned it out. 9 signals left ...
(then the funeral march breaks through again)

530 my model ... was ...

It's not about years. I have a Persian beauty, so after her I change the brushes every 10 minutes (she is completely wrapped in her beauty). And for poor Rumbik? Are they constantly put on the back? Here and there ... here and there ...

I'm sure nothing tragic happened, don't rush to bury it! Rumba has a modular type of structure - each node can be easily changed. So it's more a matter of money (repair costs). Well, the master, of course, needs an intelligent one.

I have about the same problems. The "shorthaired" cat has completely covered Rumba 560 with its hair. I clean the gearbox every 2 weeks. How often do you? They recommend buying a brush unit from the 700 series, it is hermetically sealed, but I have not yet decided on such expenses

It's more of a question to find this node. I handed it over for repair twice this year. The first time with a gearbox, and the second time with a bumper and for cleaning the sensors. If after the third repair it breaks down again, then my nervous system may not be able to withstand this ... Well, or I will buy a new one, and at the same time I will hand it over for repairs ... if the courier grabs it ...

Foggia, and why now the Airbot rumba go without a transformer? Are they not American anymore? I look at 620 with one eye, and at 630 with the other (just imagine how I look !!!) But I did not understand the difference between them ... And Rumbov without a base does not exist anymore? This means that my new brownie will have two bases ...

What kind of transformer are we talking about? Rumbas are still American, or rather Chinese. There are two types of power supplies - 110 V and 110-230 V. But there are actually no models without a base.

Assigned. True, it needs to be charged for 16 hours, but I could not resist and decided to try it right away. The box came half-loaded.
kolenko
Stop spoiling Rumba's battery! Here you need to adhere to the instructions so that it will not be painful later ...
lenochek
Something. I will not figure out how to remove the filter ...
kolenko
Was the waste container disconnected?
lenochek

Thank you, kolenko, it worked. I cleaned the brushes, washed the filter. My beauty is charging.
lenochek
Please tell me what error 6 means.
Lucha
Lena, look at the diskette, there should be instructions. In the 780, you need to clean the height difference sensors and restart. Or at the office. See the instructions on the website.

Yesterday I was at the DR. In the company she told about such a miracle as Rumbochka. The bulk of me did not understand, something else was ulcerated. True, 75% use the services of a housekeeper. At first I felt offended, and then I imagined that I was coming home, and there was cleanliness ... (All week on pills, I fight the virus, I go to work, and it’s also on duty Saturday, where would I take the strength to clean?) May God give health to those who invents such assistants

We haven’t bought such an assistant yet, I really want. And you didn’t ask yourself a question: how many people have HP, cartoon and generally bake something? In my environment, almost no one bothers with daily baking, etc., etc.

You yourself answered your question. "True, 75% use the services of a housekeeper"
Moreover, not everyone is on friendly terms with technology.
oh, they just don't know how housekeepers work. From my own experience I know that now I probably would not even take a domestic worker with the opportunity. Better a lot of smart technology than one excellent housekeeper (maybe they are conscientious, but believe me, only a few)

Once I used an assistant, I could not wash the windows after repairs, I myself could not, I got to the hospital, and it’s already autumn, the last warm days. I had to wash over the first frosts.
I remember that Doplet wrote somewhere about robots for washing windows
I'm first in line

Tomorrow they should bring me a new rumbic ... 620th ...

Question... How can you save your battery? My old one has gone, but the battery is still alive there. So I think, if you remove the new battery for now, and use the old one? Will the new one be saved? Or will the new one die anyway?

Hairpin, happy for you! I do not yet have such a miracle of technology, my husband does not agree to buy such a toy for me, he says, I see no need,
I think right now, and my daughter washes the floors well, but we’ll marry, then she already promises to give
But I already managed to read and remember (for the future) that if you buy and do not use for a long time, the battery will die

Hairpin, firstly, congratulations
I understand that the battery of the robo has a self-discharge and even when it is fully charged, it will still be discharged, so it is not recommended to remove it from the charger ever. And what can we say about just a battery, which is charged, but idle, lies in the chest of drawers ... in general, I think, you should not charge it at all and hide it for better times, but use the old one until the last ... well ... I could be wrong

I'll wait here with you the doc, I'll listen to what they say.

Spire, on the forum there is a Ukrainian seller Rumb - phogiya. Ask him, he responds promptly.

I still want to order Rumba too. I looked, there is already no model below 620. The 620 handles woolen waste well. And what should be ordered additionally?

Albina! I was interested.
reviews are not very good and even from dealers. Washes nothing at all 14 meters, then takes a long time to charge. Moreover, it is not designed like a big scuba - there are no such active brushes, which exactly rub and clean the seams and dirt.

besides, the scarecrow has it - I also tortured her. There is no sense to buy. It is only enough to wash the stuffed toilet
my verdict is to save money

I thought that such a robot would rub in the kitchen, and we also have tiles in the hallway.

Only first, the new battery must be completely discharged and then recharged. Since it is not known how long the new one was stored, and perhaps the self-discharge is already significant ... and it will not lie down for long before the full discharge, and this is already ...
In general, it's better to call the SC and ask specifically. At first I often called them, the guys there are good, patient ...

So I think: how our cat will react to the vacuum cleaner. On a regular vacuum cleaner - it gets away from it

And yakzhesh. They are half-breeds. Oh, and then her mother took a walk, an ordinary gray one, and a father of noble Thai blood was caught. Periodically engages in scarring. We can open the salon

Hairpin, and where did you order your Rumbik?
Hairpin
Albina, on Ayrobot. Where and for the first time.

I'm a fool. I forgot to order the remote control ... I went to the site, and there is no Rumba in the remote accessories for the 620 ... For the 5th generation there is, but for the 620 - no ... um ...

I called about the battery. They said that the battery does not die, it must be placed on the chest of drawers in a state of full charge. Well, I am old Rumbik, in a state of full charge, dismembered into brushes and a battery ...

It is a pity, there is no remote control included ...
Hairpin
Fifth generation brushes are not suitable for the sixth generation. And the filter is different ... And I had such stocks ... damn it ... well, I'll order it later, when the remote control is on sale ...

Why is there a remote control in a 4x4 room? you can guide the heel ...
no, of course not .. I took the most budget model, cleans up when I'm at home, somehow there is no need for a remote control, but as they say: good is the enemy of the best, so I would have taken ..

Girls, and I have a bad - my rumbic stopped collecting garbage and dust. He drives like decent, the brushes are spinning, and the garbage remains on the floor. What to do? And what could it be connected with ??
Rita
I had this because of a wheel that stopped refueling. It began to jam, and it turned out that the brushes did not touch the floor surface.
IRR
nothing to yourself

Rita! have you cleaned that little wheel sometimes? it is disassembled into 2 segments the wheel itself - and dust is wound on its side bushings and stand with a pin where it is inserted, there is also a lot of dust under it. I clean constantly, but I have cats

and this is exactly yours began to jam this is IMHO the first sign that it is necessary to clean it by disassembling it.
