I will tell you more, I love this salad so much that it never tastes bad for me.
Whatever they do with him, eat, lick my lips and ask for more.
I can’t stand only one perversion - I don’t eat salad if a fresh cucumber is put into it.
I myself make Olivier according to the recipe. Do not wonder! Of course, you can crumble everything "by eye", but that's not it. But the recipe always turns out to be equally tasty!
My salad has passed "field tests" hundreds of times and always left "to a clean salad bowl", so you can safely try to cook "Olivier" according to my recipe at least once.

Olivier salad

3 medium boiled potatoes
3 large hard-boiled eggs
3 large peeled (!) Barrel cucumbers
1 jar of green peas (about 350 gr)
200 g of boiled sausage without lard
1 small apple (ideally Antonovka)
1 medium carrot (raw!) Three on shallow grater strictly across to get short fibers!
about 100 grams of non-acidic sour cream and mayonnaise
salt, pepper to taste

We cut everything into cubes, rub the carrots on a fine grater.
First of all, we cut the potatoes, pour it a little bit with odorless vegetable oil and mix. Potato e the cubes will not stick together.
Cut the apple immediately after the cucumbers and stir. Cucumbers will keep the apple from darkening.
Carrots do not spoil the taste, honestly! But it gives a beautiful color. Add it just before refueling.
As for the dressing, add enough mayonnaise and sour cream to make a salad of your favorite consistency. I don't like it when the dressing is too much and the salad flows.
