Truffle Cookies

Ingredients

Chocolate (cut) 200 gr.
Butter not salted 6 tbsp. l. (90 gr.)
Small sugar 1/2 cup (110g)
Salt pinch
Eggs 3 pcs.
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Wheat flour 1 1/2 cups (200 gr.)
Cocoa powder is not sweet 1/4 cup (25g)
Baking powder (baking powder) 1/2 tsp
Powdered sugar 3/4 cup

Cooking method

  • In a small saucepan with a thick bottom, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add sugar, and stir well until sugar dissolves.

  • Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well with a mixer after each. Add vanilla.


  • Sift flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder into the chocolate mixture and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour to harden the dough.


  • Preheat oven to 160 ° C / 325 ° F.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or oil.


  • Pour the icing sugar into a small bowl. Using a teaspoon, pinch off some of the dough and roll it into a 1-inch ball with your palms. Put the balls, one at a time, in powdered sugar and roll well, the cookies should be covered with a thick layer of powdered. Place on a baking sheet at a distance of 4 cm.

  • Bake for 10-15 minutes (cookies will crack when baking).

  • Cool the finished cookies on a baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack until they cool completely.

  • Store in a sealed container.
