In general, there is a replenishment in the kitchen in the form of Muli 5004, but so far something miraculous has not come out ... Dancing with a tambourine and squats do not help.

There is a question for those who bake according to the recipe book and measure with a standard measuring cup from Moulinex, which is included ...

If you look at the glass, then about two-thirds is written 1 and just above 1 1/2 CUP. As far as I understand, if you pour flour in the most 1 1/2 it will be one and a half glasses according to the recipe? Or in all recipes, when they write 3 glasses, you really need to pour three full glasses and then another half? And then how to measure half if it is not cylindrical but trapezoidal?

They just made bread three times, all three times the dough was liquid. It is easier with water - you can measure milliliters there exactly.

Should all bread recipes produce a bun that does not stick to the walls?

I use NEVADA yeast.

The flour seems to be good.

Does the recipe book suggest measuring flour with a glass?
Not in grams?

I can't say anything about a glass to Moulinex ...

Don't reinvent the wheel, measure flour in grams. If there is no scale (yet), then use the milliliter - grams conversion (a standard CUP cup, mentioned in recipes is usually 240 ml, which is about 150 g of flour).

I just didn't have time to buy a good scale - I'm measuring it with glasses for now ...

In general, just after analyzing the book, an error was found ...

On page 42, the recipe for "Wheat and Rye Bread" states:
Warm water 500 ml
Salt 2 tsp
Wheat Flour 350 grams (1 1/4 cups).
Rye Flour 350 grams (1 1/4 cups).
Yeast 3/4 tsp

On page 60 in the recipe "Overs style rye bread"
Warm water 600 ml
Salt 2 tsp
Wheat Flour 200 grams (1 cup).
Rye Flour 500 grams (2 1/2 cups).
Yeast 1 tsp
As you can see, for the same amount of flour in different recipes, the difference in water is 100 ml, although a little less yeast ...

but if the measuring glass of Moulinex is 200 grams, then a quarter is 50 grams,
then how did they get 350 grams from 1 and a quarter cup in the first recipe?

that's all - I'm waiting for the scales .... even the instructions cannot be written normally

thanks - I have already read it - actually after that, questions arose - since everywhere it turns out that the dough should be like a non-sticky bun, but it spreads ...

I just didn't want to add flour - it seems like everything is according to the "recipe" and I do

Because different flours take different amounts of water, especially rye takes a lot of water. A gingerbread man made from rye flour is not the same as from wheat flour - read about rye bread.

Follow the links indicated in the topic Baking bread in a bread maker, they are not in vain indicated there.

Basically a "standard" glass is a 250 ml glass. with divisions.

Such a glass can be freely purchased at households. store. In a glass 250 ml. there is approximately 150 grams of wheat and 130 grams of rye flour.

If you have a different volume of glass - make the proportion of yours to the "standard" 250 ml.

look here - flour takes water differently.

Are there milliliters on the glass? Must be!! Accordingly, you can count.

But if of course you have patience, then it is better to wait for the scales.

About the bun: simple wheat bread has no sticky bun, so you need to add flour until you get the ideal

For muffins, Easter cakes - a bun is different: sticky, or not a bun at all, but a "worm"

There is a separate story about rye ... but everything at once is perhaps a lot, gradually get used to it.

I just didn't want to add flour - it seems like everything is according to the "recipe" and so I do

There may be typos and mistakes in recipes - focus only on the state of the kolobok when baking wheat or wheat-rye bread with a small amount of rye flour - up to 40% by weight of wheat flour.

In Mula, the glass is full, under the knife, somewhere 390 ml, respectively. it is much larger than a standard glass ... And you, apparently, made a standard mistake - when measuring flour ml - are not equal to grams: as Admin has already noticed to you
And then, there is too much water in the recipes, you can reduce it by 40-50 ml and look behind the bun
ProstoMax
that well - I don’t confuse ml with grams, it’s clear that there is a difference ...

but the fact that there is a lot of water, I agree - in general, tomorrow I will buy a scale for patam, otherwise the translation of products ...
Mueslik
It's good that you don't get confused, you will be very surprised - this is the most common mistake when bookmarking products

In general, after purchasing the scales, it was made according to the recipe from the White bread book.

Super - everyone is delighted

We will now experiment further

The recipe book that came with the bread maker clearly states on the last page that the ingredients must be weighed while making the dough! I only measure out the liquid for bread (water, whey, milk, etc.) with a measuring glass and everything is ok.
