Apricot jam with paprika

Ingredients

Apricots 1 kg
Sugar 700 g
Ground paprika 10 g
Quittin or Zhelefix 1 pack

Cooking method

  • Peel the apricots and cover with sugar, when the berries let juice, add paprika and quittin
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 5-7 minutes, cool and grind with a blender
  • Boil again and put in jars.
  • My comments:
  • To make this jam, I used "Zhelfix 2: 1", respectively, I took less sugar (only 500 grams) than indicated by the author of this recipe. I also simplified the cooking process. I chopped apricots with sugar, paprika and "Zhelfix" with a blender, brought to a boil and boiled for 10 minutes.
