I was also seduced by the low price. And now for several days I have been experimenting. However, the desired product, for which the ice cream maker was bought, is not obtained. I tried several recipes. I took recipes only those in which cream and other components are whipped. Didn't try any custard recipes. There is a problem - the ice cream of the required consistency is not obtained. In the photo, many have ready-made ice cream at the exit. And mine is puree or creamy. It is delicious, and after finishing in the freezer it is excellent. But ... I bought an ice cream maker for one purpose - I cooked it and ate it. And to freeze in the freezer - the meaning of the ice cream maker itself is lost. I would like to receive answers to questions that have arisen during the cooking process. First, I use homemade sour cream instead of cream. Whisk well, but maybe cream is a must? Second, the flask itself lies in the freezer for days, measured the temperature in the freezer -18 C. Maybe the temperature in the freezer should be lower? Is it just that the device does not freeze? I invite you to debate.

Before placing the mixture in the ice cream maker, be sure to cool this mixture in the freezer for 20 minutes. And within 20 minutes. ice cream gets off. It is soft enough, but it becomes hard when placed in the freezer. And the presence or absence of condensed milk or sour cream has little effect on the consistency

I reduced the temperature of the freezer for the night yesterday. (What was the temperature I did not measure - I just turned the wheel by 2 divisions). I made two types of ice cream - curd and fruit. In the first batch, I made cottage cheese ice cream (homemade cottage cheese, yogurt, a little condensed milk). I put the prepared mixture in the refrigerator for half an hour. It turned out what I wanted - after 15 minutes the ice cream maker began to rumble, the mixture became thick. In the second batch I tried to make a fruit one, but apparently because of the heat, the ice cream maker quickly loses its cold. The ice cream turned out to be somewhat soft, it took an hour and a half to bring it to condition in the freezer. Now you can experiment further - the reason for the previous failures has been found! You just need to freeze the flask from the ice cream maker harder.

I can't compare, since I only have Daewoo. It works, as for me, not loudly, of course, there is noise. But it does not create discomfort, it is quite tolerable. And if I leave the kitchen, then no noise is heard at all. Do not hesitate - buy, otherwise the summer is over.

I've been using the Daewoo ice cream maker for about half a year. Very satisfied. In winter, rarely, only on holidays. But even thoughts were not replaced with another unit. In any ice cream maker, you need to put the bucket in the freezer with a temperature of no more than -25. Then the refrigerant perfectly picks up the cold and keeps it, perfectly preparing the product. Well, it also depends on the temperature in the room. In the summer (when it was hottest), it was not possible to make more than 2 portions at a time, the refrigerant quickly melted. For the New Year I made 3 servings, there is no such heat in the kitchen. And you definitely need to get used to the recipe. With different quality of milk, sour cream, cream or other ingredients, the output is ice cream of different consistency. But there is nothing to sin on the ice cream maker. I make only from homemade milk, sour cream, eggs. For several years now I have been buying milk on the market from one reliable chela. So do not hesitate - take boldly Daewoo! Tasty !!!

The plastic can withstand the cold, and if you are afraid that it will break if dropped, then any can be broken. The bucket washes perfectly, no problem. And as for the recipes - so the taste and color ... as they say ... I, through experiments, have chosen several recipes for my family that are not related to cooking different components. To mess around less, I only make ice cream, the recipes for which are limited to whipping and stirring. With a mixer one or two - and you're done. And syrup or fruit is to your taste, for an amateur. But, in my opinion, you need to start with simple recipes so as not to translate many products in case of failure. The main thing is to decide what you expect at the exit. My very first impression was disappointment with the consistency of the ice cream. I waited immediately for a thick one to immediately burst, but it turned out more soft, I had to bring it in the freezer. But then I realized that the consistency depends on the quality of the food, the temperature in the freezer (when you cool the bucket beforehand, T should not be higher than -25 C), and the ambient temperature at the time of cooking. I started in August, in the very heat. I use exclusively homemade dairy products.And for ice cream and yogurt, I have been buying in the market from one trusted chela for several years.
