  • To prepare these "pies", you need large enough pieces of chicken (turkey) skin.

  • Separately, we sell chicken skin only for food for cats: it’s so good. But in the freezer there is always skin from chicken breasts, it's a pity to throw it away.

  • As I gather about six or seven, I make pies, the recipe for which I found in the culinary blog of Oycumene, for which many thanks to her.

  • So, wash and dry the pieces of leather. Mix a spoonful of sour cream and an egg. Cut three potatoes into thin strips. I cut on a Berner grater, there is a cutter for thin strips. Send the potatoes to sour cream immediately so that they do not darken. I cut the onion into thin half rings and add to the potatoes. Salt, pepper. The filling is ready. I spread a tablespoon of the filling on the skin, collect the ends of the skin and stab them with a toothpick in two or three places. I grease the form with vegetable oil, and put the "pie" with the junction down.

  • I grease the pies with sour cream on top, and put them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 45 minutes. The dish is ready. It remains to unscrew the slightly baked toothpicks. You need to decide on this right away, for example, three per pie. So that you do not accidentally forget the piece of wood.
