Moussaka with zucchini, rice and cheese in a multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH 18

Ingredients

Young zucchini or zucchini 1 kg
Round rice (I have Egyptian) 1.5 multi-glasses
Large onion 1 PC.
Tomatoes 2 pcs.
Hard cheese (I have Gouda) 100 g
Garlic 1 h.
Dill and parsley (I added more cilantro)
Salt, pepper, sweet paprika powder, rast. butter, flour for breading,
Egg 1 PC.
Milk 2 multi-glasses

Cooking method

  • Peel the zucchini and cut into cubes, lightly roll in flour and fry on rast. oil in a slow cooker on baking for 30 minutes. Stir several times. Use a minimum of oil so that it is not very greasy.
  • During this time, on the stove in a frying pan, fry the finely chopped onion until slightly ruddy and add rice to it. Stir the rice well and fry for a few minutes until transparent. Add 100 ml of water and let it soak, mix and add water 2 more times, so that the rice is half-cooked - hard inside. The water should be completely absorbed.
  • Cut the tomatoes and cheese into cubes, finely chop the herbs and garlic.
  • Add all this to rice, salt, chop, add paprika.
  • Put the zucchini out of the multicooker bowl.
  • Put half of the rice with vegetables in a bowl, then a layer of zucchini (salt them), on top of the remaining rice. Smooth out and pour over slightly beaten egg and milk. You can sprinkle with grated cheese for the beauty of the top crust.
  • Turn on the BAKERY for 50 minutes.
  • It looks like a moussaka in a multicooker. In the oven, it turns out with a beautiful ruddy crust, and in a multicooker it is juicier.
