Mom's waffles (from the Soviet past)

Ingredients

Eggs 3-4 pieces
Sugar 1 glass
Salt pinch
Soda 1/3 tsp
Butter 180 -200 gr.
Potato starch 1 glass
Flour 1 glass

Cooking method

  • Preparation:
  • 1. Beat eggs and sugar with a whisk.
  • 2. Add salt and baking soda, stir again.
  • 3. Melt the butter. Cool the oil, pour into the mixture and stir.
  • 4. Add starch, mix.
  • 5. Add flour and stir. The dough will turn out like a pancake.
  • 6. Prepare the Multi-Baker (install RAMB-13 panels). Turn on the multibaker. Close the lid.
  • 7. When the green light comes on, open the lid and place the dough on the bottom panel. Spread 1 tbsp. l. without a slide in each cell, trying to evenly distribute the dough throughout the area, including in the corners.
  • 8. Close the cover. Bake for 3.5 - 4 minutes. Don't blush too much.
  • 9. Put the finished cookies on a dish.

I found this recipe in my mother's old notebook. Previously, my mother made these cookies in a triangular shape in a special waffle iron, which she heated on a gas stove. I have adjusted the baker for baking. Although the shape has been preserved, we now have no gas :-). We do everything on the electric stove.
The cookies are delicious! Try it, you won't regret it!

And yet, the dough tends to thicken quickly. Do not worry. This will not affect the cooking process.

Yes, starch, it is also starch in Africa :-). He has one chemical formula, whatever one may say. Complex sugar ... But I and my mother have always made only potato. I added in the recipe itself ... I shared these waffles in the multi-baker theme. Those who peck praised :-)
