Pickle with beans

Ingredients

Chicken hearts or ventricles 300-500 gr.
Red beans in their own juice ~ 420 g.
Onion 1 PC.
Potatoes 2 pcs.
Carrot 1 PC. not big
Pickle 2 pcs.
Pickle from cucumbers 1/4 Art.
Garlic 2 cloves
Tomato paste 2-3 st. l.
Vegetable oil for frying 1-2 tbsp. l.
Fresh or dry parsley 1-2 tbsp. l.
Bay leaf, salt

Cooking method

  • Pickle with beans Pickle with beansCut the hearts into pieces and put them in boiling water. Add bay leaf and add a little salt, not forgetting that pickles and pickle will be added later. Cook over medium heat for about an hour.

  • Pickle with beansAdd diced potatoes, beans to the hearts, first draining the liquid from it, and cucumber pickle, cook everything until the potatoes are ready.

  • Pickle with beansAfter the soup has boiled, add dry parsley, if the parsley is fresh, add it a couple of minutes before the end of cooking.

Note

You can take dry beans (150-200 g), soak them in hot water overnight, and cook them the next day. After boiling, put hearts, and then as written in the recipe.

From experience I know that broth from hearts can taste bitter. Better to use beef broth, well, or chicken, and boil the hearts separately. And the recipe itself is very pretty. Thanks for the recipe. To bookmarks...
