Ingredients

Corn flour (polenta) 240 g
Milk 750 ml
Water 250 ml
Butter 70 g
Chicken yolks and grated cheese 2 pcs. and 2 tsp.
Ground nutmeg 1/3 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
For the sauce:
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
Garlic 3 cloves
Large onion 1 head
Medium tomatoes 3 pcs.
Salt, pepper, Italian herbs taste
For sprinkling:
Grated cheese 4 tsp
Parsley taste

Cooking method

  • Boil milk and water, add salt and nutmeg, add polenta with constant stirring and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Polenta gnocchi
  • It turns out a thick porridge, lagging behind the walls of the pan. Remove the pan from the stove, add 2 tsp. grated cheese and egg yolks, whipped with 1 tbsp. l. milk.
  • Place on a dough mat greased with melted butter and smooth with a spatula or hands to a layer of about 1 cm. Allow to cool completely.
  • Polenta gnocchi
  • Cut out the circles with a glass. Place on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake in the oven or in an air fryer. I baked in an air fryer for 10 minutes at 160 degrees. Sprinkle with grated cheese 5 minutes before the end of baking.
  • Polenta gnocchi
  • While the gnocchi are baking, prepare the sauce. I did it in the Redmond RMC-01 multicooker. Pour olive oil into the bottom of the bowl, turn on the "Steam" mode and pour the garlic sliced ​​into circles. When the garlic is browned, remove it. Put the finely chopped onion and fry it for about 7 minutes. Switch off the "Steam" mode. Peel the tomatoes and cut into quarter-rings. Put in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add Italian herbs, close the lid and turn on the "Soup-stew" mode for 15 minutes.
  • Place ready-made gnocchi on a plate, add sauce and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
