Lemon mannik

Ingredients

Semolina 1 tbsp.
Yogurt (kefir) 1 tbsp.
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Chicken egg 2 pcs.
Lemon 1 PC. (100-120gr.)
salt pinch
vanillin pinch
baking powder 5 gr.
vegetable oil for lubricating forms
powdered sugar for decoration

Cooking method

  • Lemon mannikFill semolina with yogurt or kefir and leave for 1 hour.
  • Lemon mannikRemove the zest from the lemon with a grater and squeeze out all the juice. Grind lemon juice with sugar zest, add salt and vanillin.
  • Lemon mannikMix lemon and eggs
  • Lemon mannikAdd the egg-lemon and baking powder to the semolina mixture, mix everything, pour the dough into a greased form and send it to the oven, preheated to 180C for about 25 minutes. (depends on your mold and oven)
  • Lemon mannikCool, decorate with icing sugar
  • Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for

about 500 gr.

In my IMHO, the difference is huge. I cooked in multi and yogurt and kefir. Well, I don’t like yogurt, it’s not the same for me, then it’s kefir! Although the quality was excellent, both. It's about personal preference. For yoghurt, store-bought yoghurt was added to milk 3.5%, for kefir - kefir.
