Carrot 2 pcs
Garlic 2 tooth
Cilantro 30 g
For the marinade (glass 250 ml)
Water 1.5 l
Salt 2 tbsp
Sugar 0.5 cups
Vinegar 6% 0.5 cups
Spice

Cooking method

  • We start with everyone's "favorite" procedure ... right !!! Put the head of cabbage (it is better to take a small one) in water and steam it lightly, cut out the stump accordingly. Our task is not to digest, but to make sure that the leaves are easily separated and do not break. I keep the head of cabbage in slightly boiling water for no more than 5-7 minutes.
  • During this time, we will have time to rub two carrots, cut cilantro leaves and squeeze or rub the garlic. Lightly salt the carrots. Literally half a teaspoon.
  • The filling is ready.

  • We cut out the veins from the leaves (do not throw them away !!) and twist our cigarillos. Especially do not work on the appearance) they will be soooo tasty and crunchy that no one will notice any flaws (checked !!!)

  • I rub the filling carrots into the bowl where I will "brew" my rolls. I have this three-liter Tapervea with a lid.
  • Now the most tasty interesting.
  • We take our veins from the leaves and put them on the bottom of our bowl. If there is no filling left, simply rub the carrot quarter on top. No need to salt. Now "legs" from cilantro.

  • We cook a standard marinade, from spices I put laurel, peas, and a little coriander. At the end, pour in the vinegar and pour the boiling marinade over our rolls. I don't like when spices get on the tooth, so I filter the marinade.

  • Cover with a plate and lid on top.
  • Ideally, the bowl is in the kitchen for two days, then it can be transferred to a container and refrigerator.
  • But we do not have enough patience and we begin to carry cigarillos in a day, under the "accidentally" cooked potatoes)))))

You can take any marinade you like. You can replace cilantro with parsley, or without greens, but it tastes better for us))))
I tried to sterilize these cigarillos and store them, they are fine, but they are tastier freshly prepared than from a can. The choice is yours.
During the winter I do 3-4 "approaches", they are eaten at a time !!!
