Slow Cooker Creamy Crushed Potatoes

Creamy crushed potatoes in slow cooker

Ingredients

Potatoes 2,5 kg
Carrots (optional) 1 PC.
Milk 2 glasses
Salt 1 tsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Cheese, creamy, processed 100 g
Butter taste
Ground black pepper taste
Dry ground garlic taste
Green onions taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces, rinse with cold water and place in a slow cooker bowl.
  • Peel the carrots, cut the garlic into thin slices, peel, crush with a knife and mix with the potatoes,
  • Add 1 tsp. salt and 2 cups milk, close the lid and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are completely soft (my slowcooker cooked in 4 hours)
  • If you are at home, you can stir the potatoes once after 3 hours and at the same time determine their softness.
  • Mash the finished potatoes in mashed potatoes with a crush, add cream cheese (I have melted * Viola * in triangles) and mix everything well again.
  • Season to taste with pepper and dried garlic, you may need more milk and salt.
  • Knead the mashed potatoes of the desired thickness and smoothness, arrange on plates, add butter and finely chopped green onions.

The dish is designed for

4-5 servings.

Crushed potatoes can be cooked in chicken broth, and seasoned with milk and butter, sour cream, or Greek yogurt, grated mozzarella and parmesan ...
What taste to give it depends on my desire, but nowhere else I could cook it so deliciously, as in a slow cooker, with such a pleasant baked taste and aroma.
Cold mashed potatoes taste even more cheese and spice.
PS I use the remaining puree as a filling for dumplings or pasties, adding fresh herbs to it.
