Cooking method

  • While I was making kifliks, my head was spinning all the time - well, I seem to know that, but when I tried it, there was a click in my head !! here is the taste of childhood, my grandmother did this, only in small pies !!!
  • And I repeated a long time ago, and forgot about them, but in vain !!
  • Previously, we did not have any appliances and we made chopped dough by chopping butter and flour with a knife, now that can be done quite easily !!
  • So...
  • KiflikiWe measure out 500 g of flour and put it in a food processor with knives. You can also do it just on the board with a knife, pour the flour onto the board, preferably in portions, and not all at once.
  • KiflikiWe take the oil from the refrigerator and cut it into pieces.
  • KiflikiSalt the flour a little, put the butter in a bowl.
  • KiflikiChop butter and flour with two, three pulses. You do not need to grind for a long time, let the pieces remain.
  • Kifliki Transfer the flour to a bowl. Add sour cream.
  • KiflikiMy sour cream was thick, I didn't have enough for kneading, I added kefir.
  • KiflikiI was going to roll out on a typewriter, so I made a thick dough. If you want to roll it with your hands, then you need to make the dough not so thick, add more kefir. We put the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, I made the dough in the evening. It lay with me all night.
  • KiflikiRoll out the dough. I rolled to level 5 and 6 on the Atlas motor. If with your hands, then roll it into a large sheet.
  • KiflikiCut the dough into squares. The size does not matter, you can make both large and small, if desired.
  • KiflikiSpread thick jam or jam on the dough.
  • KiflikiWe roll the dough into a tube and wrap it with a horseshoe.
