Cooking method

  • In 150 ml. warm water to dissolve sugar and yeast. Leave on for 10 minutes until a frothy cap forms.

All this can be done manually.
  • Place on a lightly floured table, knead, form a ball and place in a bowl. Seal tightly with foil and leave to proof for 1 hour at 30 degrees (oven with light bulb). Then take out the dough, knead, cut into 4 parts (about 260 g each)

  • Roll into balls and leave to rest for 5-7 minutes. Form sausages from them 20 - 30 centimeters long. In the usual way, like a baguette.

  • Cover with foil and let stand for 45-60 minutes for proofing at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (with convection). Sprinkle with water, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Bake the bread for 23-25 ​​minutes until browning.
  • For a crispier finish while baking, you can spray the oven with a spray bottle every five minutes.
  • To keep the bread soft, after baking, transfer it to the wire rack, grease it with butter, cover with a towel and leave to cool for at least 30 minutes.

Maro, of course, it is better not to disturb the dough once again in the oven, not to disturb the microclimate that has developed and is needed for high-quality bread. Yeast influences the rise of the dough, and if yeast dies, the bread will not grow.

The dough is very good, pleasant, because the oil was added last, and the dough did not stick to your hands. The bars turned out to be very tasty, almost nothing is left. They don't want to eat sweets, but they are instantly eaten.
