Vegetarian burgers (lean)

Ingredients

boiled chickpeas 200 grams
canned corn 170 gram
peeled raw potatoes 400 gram
greens (parsley, dill) bunch
flour 1.5-2 tbsp. spoons
sweet paprika taste
salt taste
cumin, ground coriander taste
ground black pepper taste
vegetable oil for frying
flour for breading

Cooking method

  • Boil the potatoes, drain the water, puree.
  • Cool until lukewarm.
  • Chop the greens.
  • Put chickpeas, herbs and corn in a blender and beat until almost smooth.
  • Transfer mixture to mashed potatoes.
  • Add spices, salt and flour.
  • Stir.
  • Shape burgers.
  • Breaded in flour (best option).
  • Fry in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve in a bun with herbs, salad and your favorite sauces.

The burgers are based on D. Oliver's recipe. I proceeded from my set of products. In the original sweet potato and with spices, smoked paprika is used.
