  • Panini buns have taken root in our family. I make them according to the recipe Twist I bake a lot, then freeze it, and when necessary I take it out, defrost it and at least for breakfast, at least for a snack, the sandwich is ready. But I could not achieve exactly a thin sandwich, as in most photos from the network. I always get chubby buns, and when the filling is added there, my grill categorically refuses to make them flat, this task is beyond his power. And this week my daughter asked again for panini breakfasts and I decided to look for a video of molding. Found it!
  • I make dough according to the recipe. After the dough came up, I divided it into 8 pieces. We make a sausage from a piece and then roll it out rather thinly into a long strip with a rolling pin.

  • Pour olive oil on top and sprinkle with herbs. I have 2 with basil and 2 with Italian herbs.

  • Then, by hand, distribute everything over the surface, pressing the oil and herbs with our fingers.

  • We immediately send it to the oven heated to 220 degrees, for 10-15 minutes. Until lightly browned. The main thing is not to overdry, otherwise there will be crackers.

  • Still hot, cut lengthwise, put inside whatever your heart desires (I have baked turkey, homemade cheese, mayonnaise and mustard)

  • and put it in the oven for 5 minutes, so that the cheese would melt. And then you pour yourself coffee, tea, maybe even stronger (not in the morning, of course) and enjoy it.
