Lean beans in the Balkan style (pressure cooker Steba DD2 Eco)

Ingredients

beans
big carrots
bulb onions
red bell pepper
tomato
tomatoes in their own juice 1 package

fresh herbs

Cooking method

  • I promised to film the whole process of making beans in Shteba on video. I cook this way and it turns out quickly and delicious!
  • We rub the carrots on a coarse grater, I used the attachment on the Kenwood kitchen processor.
  • Chop onion, pepper on a grater for strips.
  • In Shteba, turn on the Roasting mode for 20 minutes, wait for the signal and pour the sunflower oil. Put onion and carrot, then pepper and fry under a covered lid, stir occasionally. Salt in the middle so that the vegetables give juice.
  • At the end, put tomatoes and tomatoes from the pack. Cook until the end of the mode.
  • We take out the bowl with vegetables or transfer them to another container, as you wish.
  • I put a steel bowl, beans in it so that it covers the bottom of the bowl, tightly. Pour in water, 900 ml of cold water came out.
  • Switch on the Vegetables mode 10 minutes pressure 0.7. If the beans are old, then you can set it for 15 minutes.
  • As the pressure cooker has worked, we release the pressure forcibly and drain the first water! This moment is very important!
  • If you do not want to do this, then the beans should be soaked overnight.
  • We fill it with cold water again, I got 1.5 liters of water and set the pressure of 0.7 for 40 minutes, if the beans are old, then you can put it all 50-55 minutes, it won't get any worse.
  • As the pressure cooker has worked, we bleed off the steam, very carefully so that the liquid does not go through the valve !!
  • We put the vegetable mixture, salt and pepper.
  • Turn on the Simmering mode 93 g 2 - 2.5 hours
  • After finishing, add a couple of cloves of garlic and put fresh herbs on the table when serving!
  • It turns out very satisfying and tasty !!
