Ingredients

Egg yolks 5 pieces.
Ice cream peas 200 g
Sugar 60 g
Salt is optional, but I advise pinch

Cooking method

  • The yolks of hard-boiled eggs are ground in any convenient way (me - with an immersion blender) with half the sugar (and a small pinch of salt) until a smooth, tender puree

  • Boil the peas for five minutes and also beat them with sugar (and a small pinch of salt) with a blender, but this does not require the same intensive grinding and uniformity as with the yolks.

  • On four shreds of soaked and wrung out gauze (or any other thin fabric), spread the pea, and its yolk mass,

This original and cute dessert was unfairly forgotten by me for some time, and only recently I remembered about it in connection with another, also very interesting Japanese recipe... In principle, the taste of the dessert can be "decorated" with any flavoring additives - vanilla, liqueur, etc., but in this particular case, the Japanese brevity suits me 100% - delicious!

Separate the whites from the yolks.
Preparing the white mass: In a blender, scroll the proteins with ouzo or sabuka into a fluffy mass, like on a meringue. Mix with almond powder.
We prepare the yellow mass: in the mixer we scroll the cookies to a powder state, add the yolks, saffron and liqueur. Mix everything well.
Cook the syrup from water and sugar for 10 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in it. Add half of the syrup to the white mass, half to the yellow one.
Spread a thin white mass on the film. Put the yellow mass in the middle with sausage. We roll it into a roll, cover with foil and let it cool in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Cut into small rolls and serve.
